nash's bar and grill.
nash's bar and grill is a small local restaurant that has been around for about fifty years now. owned by the nash family, the restaurant is well known for its chicken pot pie as well as having a plethora of cold drinks for you to chose from. the night hours are usually full of the biker crowds, coming in and hanging out at the bar. there is a small pool table, as well as a seating area for those who would like to dine in rather than take their food to go. it really is a great place to meet up with some friends, or just hang out for a bite to eat with no rush or hurry.

story city police department.
this rather large building on main street serves as the headquarters for story city's finest. the two story building holds the criminals on the bottom floor for booking and holding, while the detective’s offices are located on the top floor. with all the new disappearances and murder cases happening in story city, the police department is quite a hectic place. they're always looking for new officers to join the force and help control the crime, so if you're interested do check it out.

memorial hospital.
a rather large building next door to the police department headquarters holds all the sickly and injured people that live or are visiting the area of story city. while you would probably find a better hospital in a larger city, memorial hospital works just well for the events that happen in the small town. like the police headquarters, it has suddenly grown very busy and populated due to all the new violent crimes happening against humanity.

chasing moonlight.
chasing moonlight is the small local occult shop that was built quite recently. owned and operated by roxy collins, previously from new york city. it may be small in size, but it holds everything that a good (or not so good) wiccan needs. from potion materials to various books on different wiccan subjects, this shop is something of an safe haven and magical center for witches who are new to the craft. it's also a good tourist attraction, since many people don't believe in magic.

story city public library.
for such a small town, the city has a large library for public use. now under the management of watcher katherine love, the library has a full stock on the occult and other various watcherly aspects. it somewhat serves as a meeting hall for the scoobies and their partners. it, of course, has other things like a library should have, such as a computer lab and books on normal subjects such as history and sciences. you'll probably find more occult knowledge here though.

main street shops.
lined with shops, and outdoor vending carts, main street shops is a known hang out for kids who are fresh out of school. you can shop, eat, walk, or just get from place to place here. if i were you, i wouldn't walk down the back alleys at night. there have been an increased amount of gang violence and attacks on young women. well, that's what the newspapers are saying. we really know what's been attacking everyone.

grace cathedral.
the grace cathedral has been around since the forming of the city years and years ago. ironically enough, the cathedral is home to the newest hellmouth in the world. located deep down in the dungeons, horrible sounds can be heard late in the evenings. behind the church, there is a large cemetery that is seemingly growing as the days pass because of all the new attacks on the town by supernatural beings.

city park.
the city park is a very popular place for teenagers to hang out at. with a large set of playground equipment, four sets of swing sets with two swings a piece, and a large carousel are enough to bring out the innocent youth in anyone. a small creek runs through the park, where little kids like to wade in the summer seasons. the water doesn't come up too high unless there is a lot of rain, of course.

mall & movie theater.
a two in one! the mall, full of lovely shops (including clothing stores, video games, and a small food court) is another place for the teenagers to hang out at. also, a recent add on in construction, the mall now has a movie theater built inside of it. however, it only plays one movie a weekend, and they're usually movies that are out of theater by the time they make it to the small town in the middle of nowhere. it's still fun to go, though.

o'riely cemetery.
o'riely cemetery was built way back when story city was first established. now it's rarely ever visited, because it sits on a creeping hill towards the o'riely mansion. the old mansion has been abandoned for years ever since the o'riely family mysteriously vanished over three hundred years ago. the entire area is dangerous, but that doesn't stop curious teenagers from going inside and never returning.

what used to be used for corn and other crops, the field is now used for the many college and high school parties where drunken teenagers burn bonfires and get alcohol poisoning. fun, right? vampires and other demons enjoy coming to these parties, finding young and drunk victims that make for an easy kill. i'd watch out if i were you.

nantucket forest.
nantucket forest is a small and quaint forest with small deer and squirrels running around from time to time. it's kind of a stereotypical forest outside of town, with trails and a small spring running through. unfortunately, there are times when the cute deers and squirrels are eaten by monsters and other no good things that like to prey on the innocent. sad, huh?
