Welcome to Diagon Preparatory Academy. Open Enrollment has just started for the new school year. Remeber, register with a first and last name. Consider applying for a canon character, since there are many to choose from with little or no history. Read over the rules and glance at the subplots for the 411, and have a good school year.

College wasn't all it cracked up to be: the understatement of the century, in Marietta's opinion. University life wasn't much different from attending Diagon Prep, but if you really thought about it, things were more fast paced. The campus was bigger, therefore, the classes were further apart. Speaking of the classes, they were double the size of classes at high school; Marietta could easily be overlooked in the amount of classmates. Though, that made her just a little more comfortable, it also was a bit unnerving. What if a professor didn't know her name and failed her because she was marked absent ... Typical Marietta, worrying herself over something stupid.

As if things couldn't get worse, the college level math looked like a bunch of squiggly lines and drawings. Still, she wouldn't quite admit that she didn't understand it. Of course, that meant she was far to proud, and high strung, to ask for help. Why couldn't college math look like Algebra?

Marietta was just leaving said horrible math class, conveniently her last class of the day and she certainly wasn't in the mood to do anything besides take a nap. A line of classes, and all the walking, had completely drained her. She wasn't quite used to that either since all the high school classes were one right after the other. College classes, however, were arranged differently. There may be thirty minutes or an hour between two classes, but then you'd wouldn't know how to spend that time in between. Marietta had learned that sometimes it was just pointless to go back to the dormitory between class because as soon as you got there, you would have to leave again.

She found other ways to occupy her time, like going to the library, or even when that was out of reach, just taking a scenic root to class. It all did make her question whether college was really worth it. Plus, you didn't make friends too quickly here, either. Just because of her freshman status, she was hesitant to really talk to any upperclassman; She'd barely spoken to any freshman, either. No time for that.

Stopping, and moving to the side of the hallway, she rearranged the two books she held in her arm. While doing that, the mathematics workbook she'd just been giving in class slipped from between the two books. Instead of picking it up, though, Marietta gave a weary sigh before kicking the workbook to the other side of the hallway. She'd just say that it'd gotten lost, or she'd misplaced it; a sneaky way to get out of doing the homework assignment in it.

The star bucks cup in his hand was nearly empty, so Donovan drained the remains before chucking the cup into the trash. Freshman and Juniors often bought the young boy coffee in return for help on small assignments. It was no secret that Donovan was the campus brain box and was willing to help out for a cup of coffee in the morning or some sugar in the afternoon. He smiled at the freshman who'd given it too him, Monica, she needed help in science and had been recommended to him by the Professor. "Thank you very much Monica" Donovan said before gathering a large pile of books. The girl muttered her goodbyes and walked off leaving Donovan to walk with a wobbling stack of very large and heavy textbooks.

He was your typical nerd, he loved to read he dressed funny and he had a friendly way too him. Although some people picked on him, Donovan had become somewhat the college pet and had found himself wrapped in an anti bullying bubble. Maybe it was the fact Donovan in some way or another had helped nearly every student there out, with tutoring or sugar when they needed it. Or maybe because Donovan was usually unaware people where trying to be mean. Either way if you picked on him you became widely known as a jerk.

After an hour of careful walking and tentative steps up stairs, Donovan had successfully managed to deposited his stack of doom and snag a candy bar. He didn't have class until the afternoon, though he had about seven tons of homework to do. But his brain wasn't working and he had to go visit a certain person too check they hadn't gotten themselves injured. So slipping on a fresh shirt and checking his socks, Donovan walked out of his dorm refreshed and clean smelling. A smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

The new issue? Where to find said person. Honestly, Donnie had no clue where they could be. Normally he knew because they went to find him but Donnie doing the searching? Bad. Bad. Bad idea. Donovan was widely known as a klutz and could get himself lost on the campus he'd been living in for three years. He was wrapped up in his thoughts as he walked down the hallways and didn't notice the math book getting kicked his way, he noticed it however when he stepped on it causing him to fall forward and hit his head. Hard. But by that time to whole hallway would have heard, because Donovan was groaning and cursing at the stupid thing. And poor Donnie thought maths was his friend.

It never paid to get rid of books, obviously. Marietta hadn't been paying much attention to the book when she kicked it. The worse that could've happened, she thought, was that the book crashed into the opposite wall loudly, but before that happened -- and before she could flee the scene, a louder crash that anticipated made her stay put. Turning her head, she noticed what, or who, had crashed. Someone she didn't know, but considering the sound he made, there was a chance he was hurt.

Even then, Marietta thought of leaving; What if he tried to sue her? Some people were like that, with their minor injuries. Her name wasn't in the book and the campus was so big, with so many students, until they'd never find her. Though, doing that was mean, even for her. "My book." she said, eventually, walking over to the book. She seemed more concerned about it than the person who's tripped on it. Well, the book wasn't exactly well off; The cover was torn a little. Great. Something else she would have to pay for. "Crap. It's ruined." She held it up, further examining it. "How am I ever going to pay for this? ..."

"Oh! Oh!" She shouted, remembering that there was someone hurt because of the book. "I'm sorry!" She apologized, extending her hand to the guy, to help him up. Though, she drew back her hand almost as quickly as she extended it, waving it around, panicked. Marietta always thought the worst in every situation, thanks to her mother mentioning to be prepared for the worst. She'd taken that advice to heart and it'd made her overly upset every time something happened. "I didn't mean to kick the book -- I'm so sorry. Itjustsortofhappened and ... I can't pay doctor bills!" She struggled to explain, not waiting for things to get worse. Even if they weren't, she didn't want to take that chance.
