( Posted Image) LET ME HEAR YOU SAY THIS SHIT ISSUPER-CALA-FRAGALISTIC-EXPIALIDOSHUSS-U-P-E-R-C-A-L-A-F-R-A-G-A...UM....WHAT!-----------------------------------For once in Emett's life, he was sitting down reading a book, actually a few books, in the library. Even though he had a strong dislike for homework, he still did it without question and usually got it done on time, if not a day late. He was a good student, not horrible, but he wasn't straight A either. He was a bit rambunctious with his brother when they had classes together and seeing as they were put in the same house, it was hard to make their ADD go away long enough for them to get some work done. Together they were unstoppable, but apart Emett was able to focus and do his work, along with some of Carter's cause you had to admit Carter wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, hell, he wasn't even close to getting being bright, but you gotta love him cause he was a sweet boy and that's what matters. So, Emett was doing his work and helping Carter by revising one of his essays, just making it make more sense than it did before, giving it organization and flow, so he was pretty much rewriting it for Carter, but Emett didn't care, he'd just force Carter to make him a tone of food when they went home next. Sighing, Emett leaned back in his chair a bit, fixing a few grammatical errors here and there with his pen, putting notes in the margins for Carter to hopefully follow and that he'd use, but Emett doubted it. It was a shame that Carter never learned from the little things that Emett tried, but oh well, not a damn thing could stop Emett from loving his brother, not even his stupidity. Emett's love for his brother, and his want to make him his slave for a few days, was driving him to help him with this long as hell essay for Care of Magical Creatures. To many, it was like a death sentence, but Emett didn't mind the class much, he just had to create imaginative ways to keep himself occupied. Of course, his favorite would be thinking of what life would be like if Carter or himself were the creature that was on topic or what not, it was kind of hilarious thinking of his brother having a hippogriff body and having his head plastered on the neck. It was a childish thing to do, but it made Emett laugh and got him through class, so that's what counted.
Of course, Emett was a huge target for bullies, despite his rather muscular body, he was picked on since he was an awkward kid and he didn't defend himself. Unfortunately, Emett often provoked those bullies since he couldn't help his mouth, it was foul thing and he cussed like a sailor. Of course, that little fault of his was about to get him into a heap of trouble. His eyes moved from Carter's essay to a book in front of him, but he couldn't see the words since there was a hand on the page he was about to read. How damn rude. Emett looked up the arm and saw it belonged to some boy, who was leaning against the table and pressing his hand down into the book for support. And of course he was flirting with a girl, and Emett couldn't believe this guy was doing this. The library was supposed to be used, primarily, for research, not trying to pick up a girl in order to get laid. Emett coughed once in order to draw attention to his current dilemma, but it didn't do anything. Emett just wanted to get his work done but he couldn't now that this asshole had put his damn hand in the way of his book. "Could you move your hand, please?" Emett asked, trying to sound as polite as he could. He was blown off again, the boy only scoffing and went back to smirking towards the red head he was currently flirting with. Now he was losing his temper a bit, he was getting annoyed and just wanted to finish working. "Listen ball juggler, get the hell away from my table before I beat your face in." Emett threatened, as if he'd ever hurt the guy, he was just angry as hell. "Back off fag!" The boy puffed up his chest as Emett got up out of his chair, moving right into the boy's face. "Don't push me, twat squirrel, I'll end you before you can even blink." Emett was testing the kid, seeing how far he could go before he snapped, and it wasn't much cause Emett got pushed back a bit. At the sound of the commotion, one of Emett's friends got up and moved between them both. Growling, Emett pushed against his friend, his right fist curled and raised back, ready to strike the kid in the face and punch his lights out. "That's right! Fuckin' hold me back, you know I'd kill him!" Emett shouted over dramatically before shoving his friend out of the way to grab his books and his essay and ran as fast as he could in the opposite direction, getting as far as he could from the boy that had pushed him. Emett was sure that kid was going to try and follow him, but only for a bit before giving up and returning to the girl he had been flirting with before. Looking over his shoulder, he checked to make sure he wasn't being followed, but when he turned around to look in front of him, he almost ran into Abigail Dawson. Being smooth he stopped right on a dime and dropped his things as well and leaned against the bookcase to his right, resting his elbow on one of the shelves and let his hand rest against his hand, a smirk forming on his face. "Hey there Abby, how are you doin'?" Emett asked, his smirk slowly turning into a smile. She was a great friend of his, really awesome. Ok, so she was extremely random, but Emett really didn't care, she was fun to hang out with. Plus, she was really nice, never had a mean thing to say about anyone. She was his fellow space cadet. -----------------------------------words! 1082 credits! MOLLY FM? at CAUTION! wearing! here music! Hollaback Boy - Cobra Starship tag! ( Posted Image) ( ive never felt so lost, ive never felt so much at home )please write my folks and throw away my keys- - - - - - - -Homework, the general reason people came to the library -but not Abby, no way. All her work was done, finished in class or in her mind to be written down when she took her books back to her room. Well, the books she'd be checking out on dragons. Abby had read a lot about dragons in her muggle books, and had decided to see what books Hogwarts had on them. In her pocket was a pen and in her hand a small notebook with names of books a friend sugested. She'd written them all down and was going about the isles looking for them. She'd been so intent on finding them she'd failed to notice the presence of her friend doing his homework at one of the tables. She'd gone there after throwing all her things in her room after class, and had a few books tucked under her arm. All day long she'd been wearing her winged headband, but the professors had stopped asking her about herself and the things she did -it never did take long for teachers to get use to her, or just ignore her. Students, however, still asked and gave her funny looks. This was her first and final year at Hogwarts, so even though many did not know her name, she was widly known as "that one girl." Not that it bothered her, she'd always been known as something. She was traveling to Finland next, then maybe somewhere else -but in the end she'd back back in Montego Bay, where her happy heart was content and happy. Though she wanted to work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, which was a muggle space company in the United States. Not her favorite place, but they did have her favorite thing: space. She'd be a Russian Cosmonaut, but Russian was such a rough language -and she'd never been to Russia before. But the United States had a good governmental ideas and other things she'd never really seen or experineced in other places. Maybe she'd live in Montego when she wasn't busy with the space muggles. But she did still have a lot of traveling to do -and would have to go to school to be an astronaut. But being a wizard made travel easy and being smart made school easy. For the most part at least. She was good with numbers but not with wars and dates -and God knew the United States had done a lot of dated things and had a lot of wars she would never understand. She tucked another book under her arm and moved on down the rows and rows of books until she found the next one: Dragon Species of Great Britain and Ireland. Only, it was a few centimeters out of her reach. She quirked her lips and placed her little notebook in her vest pocket and wished someone was here to help her.
And that was when Emett showed up. Hm, Abby must be having good luck today or something, since her friend who'd given her this list of books hadn't even known she had been pondering over getting a list of books about dragons. "Salut, mon ami!" She greeted happily and with a listful tune in her voice as she stared up at that book that was out of her reach, a smile on her face. Dear oh dear, Emett had dropped his things (might I add that she didn't budge a bit, despite the fact he almost ran right into her?) She turned her head back to a normal looking level and looked over at her friend, relaxing against the bookshelf. She batted her long lashes as she always did before asking him a favor, but then looked curiously past him before she could. Her words were no longer French when she spoke next. "Emett, there's a guy charging at you," She stated, not really as a warning but more as a "your shirt is blue" kind of thing. But before she could actually comprehend that this was bad, the guy grabbed her friend by the shoulder and turned him around and socked him in the face. Abby gasped."Dear boy! You just hit my friend," She stated, another blue shirt thing, and the guy just gave her a look like it wasn't her business and opened his mouth to speak to Emett, but Abby spoke first. "Don't give me that look, jock strap," She quipped, placing her books down on the ground gently before standing back up and placing her hands on her hips, jutting out her chin. "What the hell are you going to do, stick?" Abby took no insult to his name calling. "Well... I'll... -I'll ninja kick you in the jugular and poke you in the eye. And then! Then I'll send a fist right up your alley!" She proclaimed, sticking her chest (well, what she had of one) out in a move that's generally threatening but for Abby just made her resemble superman, the guy in the red cape muggles liked so much. The guy blinked and looked at her like she was an ailen before saying something about leaving them to their lovefest and walking away. Abby dropped her arms and shrugged, then looked down at her friend. "Emett dear," She squatted down to pick up her books, "you've dropped your things," Of course she said it to ask him if he were okay, and having been her friend for the past few months since school had started, she knew he'd know that. That punch looked like it had hurt, bu then again, Abby had never been punched. Generally people just figured it best to leave her alone since you never know how dangerous the weird kid with weird tattoos was.

( Posted Image) LET ME HEAR YOU SAY THIS SHIT ISSUPER-CALA-FRAGALISTIC-EXPIALIDOSHUSS-U-P-E-R-C-A-L-A-F-R-A-G-A...UM....WHAT!-----------------------------------Emett gave Abby a wide grin, having no clue what she had just said in French, but he knew Abby well enough to know that she spoke in different languages and it wasn't strange for her to talk to him like that. He was extremely happy to see her though, it was better than running into some asshole that he accidental made enemies with that still was out to get him. When she said that some guy was charging at him, he turned as to look who it was, but he didn't have a chance to do it, voluntarily, that is. The guy from before grabbed his shoulder and spun him around, causing him to spin on his heel and not a split second later, the guy's fist was planted solidly into Emett's cheek and he went down like a bag of bricks. Already, it was red and swollen and Emett felt his eyes burn with tears. Jesus, that hurt horribly, and sure guys aren't supposed to cry, but it hurt really bad. He gave a soft whimper as Abbey chewed the guy up and out, she was so unafraid of things, she was brave, and it made Emett wonder why she was in Ravenclaw. She was the smartest girl he did know though, she was extremely smart and was full of random facts, so he had to agree she belonged in Ravenclaw. Once the guy left, Emett just laid there, kind of enjoying the fact that he was on the ground and he was somewhat safe now. Jesus, what were people's problems? Did they have to just beat up on Emett and no one else? Why was it always him? sighing, and grunting, Emett got up and dusted his bum off and his back, wanting to stay clean even if he did get a nice new shiner for an eye. "That's the least of my worries right now," Emett said, moving his hand over his eye, wanting to keep it out of sight and safe from any other harmful things such as paper projectiles or flying fists.
"But if you could pick those up for me, that'd be great, Abby." Emett groaned and moved over to a nearby table and sat down on top of it, sitting on the edge, too lazy and sore to pull out a chair. He gave a small whimper and waved her over, hoping she'd help him out with his little problem. "Abby, do you have your wand on you? I could really go for some healing right now," He was doing his best to not show how much it hurt, but he had gotten socked right in the eye, he had felt the guy's knuckles go into his eye socket, and it hurt like hell. He took his hand off of it for her to see, tilting his head back a little to get light on it more. It was starting to turn purple and a bit blue around the bottom of his eye, his eyelid swelling to twice its normal size. His eye was a bit red and the skin around his eye was raised up more than normal and starting to also swell. Emett had been taken off guard and he had gotten the crap kicked out of him with just one punch. Had he been better, a little tougher, then maybe he could've withstood that punch, that hadn't happened. Maybe he would've fought back, but that single punch had taken him down and put him out. It had hurt like hell. He groaned a bit and let his head fall back, his tear swelling in his other eye now, since his punched in eye hurt like hell and tears were stinging his eyes horribly. He sniffled, doing his best to stop any traces of his crying from the public, but he didn't mind crying in front of Abby, he knew she'd just comfort him and be there for him, but people were still around and he had to be tough, he was a man after all. "God, that hurt so freakin bad." Emett sighed and groaned once more, trying to shut his eye, but it hurt too much. -----------------------------------words! 710 credits!
