* * * ____ Dementhe - 24 - PB: Gaspard Ulliel, Parker
Dementhe is a wealthy Parisian immigrant that came to America at age 16. Dementhe is a philosopher, and extremely intelligent; he enjoys belittling people with his superior intellect. Dementhe has delusions of grandeur, and acts like everything is a chore for him; he merely puts up with the therapy sessions, and will often lapse into French if he finds English troublesome at the moment. He's in LSV for taking hallucinogens and smuggling absinthe into the US. 24 years old, in his second summer at LSV (for relapsing).

* * * ____ Mallory - 19 - PB: Jesse Spencer, Bram
Mallory was sent to LSV for 'corrective rehabilitation', but he's a good kid-- of course, they couldnt very well put down that he was going there to be ungayified. That is, of course, what his parents were trying to do; 'purge their son of the devil'. Mallory regards everyone here as 'freaks', though he doesnt say it. He doesn't think he belongs here, and even if he's friendly to the people here, he just wants to go home. Kind by nature, if a bit narcissistic, Mallory's self-assurance has plunged since he came to LSV. Though he wont admit it to himself, he actually does like some of the people here; he's just frustrated with his situation to the point that he's convinced himself he hates them all. 19 years old, in his first summer at LSV.

* * * ____ Mayvane - 20 - PB: Josh Hartnett, Kezzie
A rebellious pyromaniac from a B-List family, Mayvane was sent to LSV after his parents learned that he had burnt down their beach house. Mayvane is known for being a rebel and a jerk, as well as a bit of a pervert. He doesn't really want to be at LSV, especially since any kind of explosive or personal effect that could produce flame (ie, lighters) are not permitted. 20 years old, in his first summer at LSV.

La Tortugas
A ridiculously popular rockpop (think Maroon 5) band, whose members have been friends since middle school and are all in lust with each other. They're all extremely sexual beings and are known to do everything together -- and we meet everything. ... Together.

She's always been able to get away from everything, because she was from a good family. She has old money, blue blood, beauty, good taste, and intelligence. But when La Tortugas became major, she fell into alcoholism -- thanks to her bandmates. 20 years old, first term at LSV.

Lead Guitarist: * * * ____ Ballato (Sasha)

The oldest of the group. Not very academic; was held back a year in middle school, which is how he met the rest of the band. In for alcohol abuse; it was this, or jail for giving alcohol to people under the legal age (read: his bandmates). 21 years old, first term at LSV.

Back-up Guitarist: ___ Sands THIS ONE IS AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATION!

Most notorious bandmate for his unabashed love of groupies; a veritable sex fiend. Has an identical twin brother who has succeeded everywhere he failed. Is picky, vain, and selective in his friends-- but entirely unselective in his bedmates. In for alcohol abuse; it was this or jail. 20 years old, first term at LSV.

Bassist: * * * ____ Zaragoza (Esh)

The baby of the group. Friendly, outgoing, and charming; usually covers PR for teen magazines where they need to appeal to the younger demographic. Fun-loving; not as heavily into the groupie scene as his bandmates-- at least, not when he's sober. Has no alcohol tolerance and is a slutty drunk. In for alcohol abuse; it was this or jail. 19 years old, first term at LSV. (Reccomended PB: Dougie Poynter)

Drummer: * * * ____ Valentine (Ambre)

A child prodigy who ditched books for fun. Very nearly a nymphomaniac. Carries around her drumsticks obsessively, and smokes heavily. Though not the oldest, she acts like it-- usually the responsible, sensible one, which isn't to say she isn't a total animal. Hasn't told her bandmates about her heroin abuse. Though she wasn't caught drinking, she admitted herself for alcohol abuse, to be with the band. 20 years old, first term at LSV.

____ Bradford - 18 - PB: Eric Bana
Good kid, bad parents. Bradford's parents blamed his bad grades on his 'acting up'-- in all honesty, he was just doing some teenage experimentation. The real reason his GPA dropped from a 3.4 to a 2.2 is because they created a bad environment for him with their arguing. Bradford was sent to LSV to get them out of their way as they try to resolve their issues. Apparently, they have no qualms about fighting in front of him, but don't want a divorce for his sake. 18 years old, in his first summer at LSV.

_____ Hall - 19 - PB: Hayden Christensen
Hall is clinically depressed, though he was sent to LSV for the anorexia and substance abuse stemming from this depression. Hall constantly feels like he isn't good enough (he has self-critical depression), and constantly compares himself to others. He wants desperately to be 'fixed', and is seen as a goody two shoes for participating eagerly in therapy sessions. 19 years old, in his second summer at LSV.

_____ Hartford - 26 - PB: Adam Pascal
Hartford is sexually compulsive, a disorder known as satrysis or 'sex addiction' in society. He'll sleep with just about anything that moves, and can barely go a day without some kind of sexual stimuli. Hartford is known for his perversion; everything, to him, is sexual. Sent to LSV because his parents were sick of his incessant partying and sneaking girls (and occasionally boys, and occasionally both at the same time) into the house for sex. 26 years old, in his first year at LSV.

_____ Hartford - 23 - PB: Sarah Michelle Gellar
Suffers from anxiety attacks. Sent to LSV with her brother, but not because of genuine concern from her parents; they wanted to get her brother out of the house. Their reasoning went something like "well she has a problem, so he HAS to go with her". She's very socially aware and craves normalcy, as well as popularity. 23 years old, in her first year at LSV.

_____ Hayman - 17 - PB: Rosario Dawson
Hayman suffers from delusions, anxiety disorder and ADD. She believes, very strongly, that she is the long-lost Princess of Burma. She is sensitive and kind, a painter, but she speaks very shortly and matter-of-factly, and it's difficult to get her into a real conversation. She's very dreamy, and always seems to be in her own little world. A lot of people find her amusing because of her delusions and dreamy nature. 17 years old, in her second summer at LSV.

_____ Hayman - 17 - PB: Anthony Lumeau
_____ Hayman's twin brother, he takes care of her. He refused to let her go to LSV without him; he has no obvious disorder, so was signed up as needing corrective therapy for his social issues. Immensely friendly, sweet, and caring to a fault-- his only flaw is that he cares too much for his sister and doesn't realize how other people feel about him. He has often been the subject of a crush he's been unaware of, a trend thats followed him since his sister was diagnosed with delusions and he started taking care of her obsessively. 17 years old, in his second summer at LSV.

_____ Kristoff - 21 - PB: Dee Plume
A kleptomaniac and general delinquent, Kristoff constantly steals peoples personal effects and gives them as gifts for friends with no explanation of where they came from. Somewhat eccentric, but not in an alarming way. She started smoking and drinking at age 14, and has reputation for being a rebel and party animal. 21 years old, in her second summer at LSV.

Caleb Emmet Lanham - 26 - PB: Jake Gyllenhaal
His family owns Lakeside Valley (his father's real estate company built it), and it was all over the papers when Caleb got into drugs when he was 14, since it was so ironic, and his mother used to be a popular actress before she fell into drugs. He's one of the senior mentors now, counseling the clients and just talking to them 'about their feelings.' Secretly doing drugs. 26 years old, in his ninth summer at LSV.

Eleanor Kindle Lanham - 25 - PB: Cintia Dicker
A rich heiress who was nearly driven insane by minutia. She came to LSV three years ago for anorexia and obsessive compulsive disorder; it was there she met Caleb Lanham, her current husband and father to their two children. Kindle is currently a senior mentor at LSV.

_____ Lombard - 24 - PB: Milo Ventimiglia
Sent for his bipolar disorder (which is medicated), and also has anger issues stemming from his disorder. Mostly very quiet and monosyllabic, he's prone to explosions of anger about very trivial things, although usually only when he's skipped his medication. A good friend, though he has low self-esteem and acts rashly, but because of his outburts he is unable to hold long-term relationships. Lombard is a poet, though he doesn't show anyone his poems unless asked, and rarely tells anyone he writes. 24 years old (very recently), in his second summer at LSV.

_____ Rutherford - 22 - PB: Ziyi Zhang
Rutherford's mother was an Asian immigrant who married into a rich American family. Rutherford was born from a different father, but she didnt learn this until she was 15; since then, she's been estranged from her stepfather. When her mother died, she was devestated; her mother was her best friend, and she took the blow extremely hard. She was sent to LSV after her mother died because of her grief and inability to cope, as well as the fact that her step-father didn't want to deal with her. 22 years old, in her first summer at LSV.

_____ Sommerson - 28 - PB: Heath Ledger
Outgoing, but not loud; popular in the sense that he knows everybody, and not nessecarily that everybody loves him. Grew up with a single mother, whom he loves dearly; chivalrous, funny and kind, his only failing is is closed-mindedness and alcoholism. His mother raised him on her own until he was 13, at which point the rest of her affluent family decided to associate with them again; Sommerson is somewhat bitter towards the wealthy, though technically he is. 28 years old, in his first summer at LSV.

Julian Blanco Volokova - 23 - PB: Paolo Nutini
A close friend of Caleb Lanham, from highschool. Started attending LSV at Caleb's request in the summer of his sophmore year, and has been attending every summer term since. Technically a 'senior mentor' now that he's graduated from the LSV program (which is to say, if he uses, no one notices), Volokova still acts like a patient, talking to fellow patients about whatever and 'mingling'. Volokova is responsible for most social events that occur at LSV. 23 years old, in his eighth summer at LSV.

The Splendarkins
A boyband established in the 90s when the members were all in highschool; they quickly rose to Backstreet Boy level popularity, but were broken up only a few years into their newfound fame. They all went their seperate ways, silently envying each other and blaming the others for the breakup of the band. Only one short year after the bands adorable but sadly overlooked vocalist, Tommy Peterson, died, the three remaining members found themselves together at LSV for... varying reasons.
Lead Vocalist: _____ Ogden

Remained in the limelight for a short while after the band broke up by writing memoirs about life in the band. Soon after he faded from the limelight, Ogden fell into drugs and ended up blowing all his money. His family finally intervened and sent him to LSV. Ogden maintains that it's Roux's alcoholism that split up the band. 28 years old, second term at LSV.

Back-up Vocals and Guitar: ______ Newman

Usually regarded as being hit the hardest by the breakup of The Splendarkins. Tried to start a new career as a solo artist, and then as part of a rock band, but ended up failing miserable and squandering his fortune on fast food, prostitues, and trying to get himself back into the limelight. Still believes it's Ogden's vanity and ego issues that broke up the band.27 years old, third term at LSV.

Back-up Vocals: ___ Roux

The only of the three whose life hasn't been completely ruined by suddenly losing his A-list status. Sweet but a little misguided, he started drinking during the band years-- alcoholism ran in his family-- but quit when the band broke up. Had lived a relatively normal life-- was recently noted in the tabloids as coming out as gay, not that anyone hadn't already guessed-- until Tommy died. He started to question his life, and fell back into alcoholism; his roommate quickly intervened and sent him to Lakeside. 27 years old, first term at LSV.
