--- Group: THE KING OF HOUSE ELVES Posts: 85 Member No.: 1 Joined: 20-July 08	the words you must follow , PRE-REGISTRATION look through our canon selection. keep in mind that we have a lot of them open and they're always welcome to our site. teachers as well, considering that at our roleplay we will actually have classes, because we believe that despite there's a plot going on, roleplaying the classes is always needed for a harry potter roleplay. you must reserve a canon, or take the risk of simply going for it. but beware, if you do so and someone reserves it, you're out of luck. as far as names go, we want you to register with lowercase first, middle initial, last names. make sure that your last name, if you're not a canon, doesn't interfer with another canon's last name. also, don't be afraid to make it a little out of the ordinary. i can't even fathom how boring names like 'emily anderson' get. you know the names hermionie? ronald? percy? stick to british last names and first names, if they're from the uk. names play an important part for all characters. REGISTRATION when you have registered, it is the time to work on the application. oh joy, our favorite part, right? applications, honestly, are going to not be too long and treacherous here, considering it usually loses muse for a lot of people. there will more of be questions to help you along the way. post the application in the appropriate spot, and post it as 'last name, first name middle name initial'. you'll see more examples in the forum. do not post anywhere until you are accepted. i know, i know. you're excited, right? well, just chill out and the admins will get to it asap. if you're not accepted, it doesn't mean we don't like you. it just means there's some things you need to work on. don't give up and give it another go. once you're accepted, feel free to go on and do what you do best! ON THE BOARDS this is a moderate to advanced literate harry potter roleplay. we expect you to fulfill a posting requirement of atleast 400 words a post. if we see anything less, we'll simply remind you to pick it up a notch. please stay in character and don't godmod. it's lame, so lame. taking control of someone else's character must mean you're pretty insecure, so don't degrade yourself, people! make sure you follow the time line and weather. months will change every two to three weeks, so stay in touch with what is 'currently' going on. also, watch for the news so the board wide plot stays in tact. this board is rated r. but remember, i don't want to see third years having sex in the towers, mmkay? that's just gross. however, if you want to get all naughty with your bad selves, then put a warning for us all in the description. just don't make it your every thread, you know? this is also rated r for violence and language and maturity. if you can't handle it, then please leave. to graduate each term, you must attend and do homework for atleast three classes. fifth years and up must do their owls & newts to graduate the year. if you do not do the number of classes or homework required, you will be pushed back a year. if you only complete one half of a term, then you must do double the amount (six classes) the next term. okay, maybe you ravens will do that just for fun. OFF THE BOARDS graphics and faces cannot be any scene, myspace, anime, cartoons, etc. we are only accepting celebrities & models at this time. do not have a signature that stretches the board, please. you must have graphics. you have two days after you're application is accepted to get graphics for your character. respect everyone, and everything. we don't accept crude jokes, racism, poking fun at others, bashing threads, etc. if you do anything of the sort, you will be slaughtered off the board. period. this is a very enforced rule. we all know there's more girls on roleplay boards than men. this is just a law of physics, or something like that. so please, if you already have a girl character, and want to make a second one, you must make a boy. if you really want a second girl character that badly, then she must be freakishly unique or you just have to have three characters. have fun, man. it's only a roleplay. -------------------- don't pm this account for questions ,
