Power. Fame. Wealth. Fulfillment. This is what the current students of the J. G. Finnigan Academy for the Intellectually Gifted Teen strive for. And as any school, there is romance and gossip flying about, as each suit chooses a king, a queen, and several jacks based on their popularity and how they exemplify the qualities of their suit. There is an unwritten law understood by each suit that the royalty of each suit are not to be messed with, even by kings and queens of other suits. But how much longer can the royalties of each suit respect each other? How long will it be until the unwritten law is broken?

JASE WAS DRAWN FROM THE STACK and there's no going back

You're holding the card too close to my face I can't tell, is that a K or a Q?
Full Name: Jason Jeremiah Trent Nickname: Jase Gender: Male Age: 17 Year: Junior Suit: Diamonds
Ahh, so it's the queen of hearts The queen is fair, 'tis true
Hair: Dark brown, fairly long (but not extremely so), with a part over his left eye Eyes: A lightish emerald green Body Build/Physique: Thin, fairly muscular but not so much so Markings/Piercings/Scars/Tattoos: None, none, none, and none Clothing Style: Simple clothing, like collared shirts and nice sweaters, with mostly jeans on the bottom Play-By: Jackson Rathbone Other: He needs glasses, but will only wear contacts
But is her heart as fair? To tell the truth, I'm afraid of her
General Personality: Friendly. Jason is a very outgoing person. He's willing to say, 'Hey, what's up?' to pretty much anyone. Where the other person takes it from there is their choice. He won't let the fact that a lot of people judge him for his gayness keep him from making friends. He'll talk to anyone, and if they talk nicely back to him then he's willing to be their friends.
Flamboyant. Jason knows that he has a bit of a girly side to him, and he's not afraid to show it. He'll go shopping with his girlfriends, and give them advice on clothing (though he's not a total fashion expert and doesn't aim to be). He loves to dance, and isn't afraid of what people will think. He tends to like to do things with his girlfriends better than hang out with guys (unless of course he's flirting with one of them).
Perceptive. Jason's one to pick up on things quite easily. He knows girl talk better than some girls even do, and he can pick up on the slightest social interactions. This ties into his cattiness- he always knows the latest gossip mainly because he starts it, because he observes things before a lot of other people.
Egotistical. Jason loves himself- or so he shouts to the world. He's confidant, which can be good in some situations, but he's often over-confident, which often comes back to bite him in the butt. He definitely thinks that he's all that and a bag of chips, which some people get ticked off by.
Catty. Jason is very catty. He's not afraid to gossip about anyone behind their backs, even if they're really good friends of his. He may have one or two exceptions, but there's almost no one who's spared from his gossipping. And Jason's gossiping is not just idle talk- people listen to him, because he always knows the latest gossip before most people.
Insecure. Despite the friendly, flamboyant, over-confident face he shows to everyone else, Jason isn't all that secure about himself and his identity. His parents' disapproval has caused him to doubt himself and who he is. That's why he cries his amazingness and gay pride to the world- he thinks that maybe if he shouts it loud enough for long enough, he'll start believing it himself.
Strengths: Jason is friendly and flamboyant. When you're his friend, he's just generally fun to be around. He has a lot of confidence, and he's not afraid to do things that a lot of people are afraid to do. Unlike most guys, he actually understands how girls work. He's very perceptive, and can figure things out before most people. Weaknesses: Jason sometimes appears so over-confident and egotistical that it ticks people off. Despite this, he's really actually very insecure of himself, but he hides this deep inside him. Jason uses his powers of perception for 'evil'- he gossips about almost everyone, and his gossip is usually true. Aspirations: To actually become sure of himself, to convince his parents that it's okay to be gay, to have a myriad of flings & such Fears: That his parents will find out he's gay, that he'll never actually learn to embrace who he is, that the world after high school will be as unaccepting as his parents Likes:o Himself o Gossiping o Dancing o Flirting o Shopping o Knowing things that other people don't o Finding things out first Dislikes:x Homophobes x Himself x His identity x That he can't tell his parents x Sports (other than gymnastics) x Violence x Non-matching clothing Hobbies: Gossiping, cheerleading, dancing, gymnastics
She must have had a dark past Because she's always screaming 'Off with your head!'
Nationality/Blood lines: 1/4 British, 1/4 Austrian, 1/2 American (as in, back to the colonial days) Family Members: Kenneth Trent, 53, father, businessman; Melony Arnold, 49, mother, hosuewife; Julia Trent, 20, sister, college student Family Pets: None Class: His mother inherited a huge fortune, so they're upper-class Personal History: Jason lived a relatively happy life as the second child of the Trent family. He got along fairly well with his sister, though from the start there were a few unusual things about him. He didn't even know he was gay at first, until he got his first crush...on a guy. It started to show more and more at school, and he got teased mercilessly for it.
His parents had from the start made it very clear that they were anti-homosexuals. They tried to get him to play sports, but the only one he really took to was gynmastics. Of course, it made him very upset to find that he was indeed just what his parents feared. In his family, Julia was the first to find out. She was very supportive of him, and helped him to hide his sexual preference from his parents, who she knew well would take it horribly.
After a quile, Jason grew tired of hiding it. His sister convinced him not to tell his parents, but he decided he wasn't going to pretend he was something he wasn't anymore. When his parents sent him off to boarding school at J. G. Finnigan's, he got the perfect opportunity to both hide it from his parents and show his true colors. From the start, he let everyone know well that he was gay, and proud of it. Of course, he did get ridiculed by some people, but he found that there were others who were rather accepting, and quickly made friends with them.
Popularity at Previous School: He was fairly popular among girls, but the guys teased him for his more feminine hobbies.
But who is it that holds the card? Surely, I wouldn't go near her

| QUOTE | So this was Tokyo.
After touching down alone in Japan, Angie had found herself completely lost in the airport. Luckily, she had managed to find the baggage claim and exit the airport without much ado, but now that she was in the actual city, she was totally and completely lost.
Where was she supposed to start looking for her mother? Angie wasn't about to regret what she had done, but she had to admit that she hadn't given it enough thought before leaving. She was aiming at going to her mother's school...but how was she supposed to find a super-elite private school hidden in Japan? That was going to be tough. And on top of it all, the only thing she knew how to say in Japanese was 'Arigato,' and pronounced very poorly.
Basically, Angie was screwed.
In the mad chaos of the airport, Angie had somehow been jostled onto a bus, for which she had paid the fare without knowing where she was going. She figured it was a start, though, because at least she was going somewhere instead of sitting in the airport.
She had decided at random which stop to get off at, and she turned and watched the bus drive away before taking in her scenery.
It was the city. It wasn't so different from cities back in the U.S., except that all the signs were in Japanese. The bus stop itself was quite ordinary, complete with a guy who was sleeping on a bench. Wait, he looked rather American...Angie got a surge of hope as the guy awoke with a start, muttering something that was quite plainly English. She approached him with what she hoped was a sweet and innocent smile. "Excuse me...you speak English, right?"
