Before you begin...
I. By registering, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all rules and regulations henceforth spelled out by the administrators, as well as any amendments to be made at a later date. The decisions of the administrative team are ultimately final, and should be treated with respect.

II. Aim Snap Fall is a literate-advanced role playing forum. As such, the administrators expect you to possess a well-developed syntax and vocabulary, a detailed understanding of grammar and spelling, and the common sense to read through your posts. Mistakes are, of course, completely understandable-but habitual and repetitive errors are tiresome and will need to be corrected.

III. In alignment with the plot, we fully expect and understand there to be a sizable amount of violence and profanity. However, the administrators request that you keep the role played romance to R standards. We will not, and do not wish to restrict who your characters bang, where, and why...we merely find it unnecessary for public forums. Therefore, though the administrators are being lenient in regard to what sort of rating we set forth, we reserve the right to inform you if you get out of line. Be tasteful. Remember-the abuses of a few may ruin a privilege for all.

IV. As dismal as this outlook may be, if you should encounter a problem during your time on the site, handle it in a mature manner. Talking it through one on one, very calmly is-of course-the best option. Should it get to the point where a resolution is not taking place, bringing it to an admin will quickly solve the issue. It should be noted that this is a community, and flaming will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Applying...
I. When you register, please use your intended character's first name and last name. In other words, Jane Smith. Should you apply as janesmith, Jane_Smith, j@n3sm1+h, janesmith34234, or any other variation, your application will automatically be declined and you will be asked to re-register.

II. Please post your application-using the template-in the 'Awaiting Decision' section. I would kindly like to ask that you not post anywhere else except in the 'Out of Character' section or in the C-Box until your application has been accepted.

III. You must have a play-by. This can be a model, a famous athlete, a musician, an actor; anyone who falls under the category of 'celebrity'. Do not use a picture of your mom, your brother, that hot boy from your chemistry class, a drawing, or some picture you found on Vampire Freaks or Deviant Art. It simply will not be permitted. Also: be sure to keep to the age range. If your character is twenty-five, George Clooney is a terrible play-by. (Saying "select photos" is, of course, perfectly permissible.)

IV. Please refer back to the rule about this being a literate-advanced forum. By this stage in your literacy career, we thoroughly expect that you are able to have well-rounded characters.

V. Once you register with the site, you will have one week to post your application. Any longer, and your account may be moved to the 'declined' section. If you are applying for a canon, though, there may be some competition. As soon as you can get this up, the better. If you wish to apply for a character that has not yet been accepted, but that more than one person are vying for, please add a '2' to the end of your name. For instance, Jane Smith 2, and so on. Competition is loved, of course.

VI. UNLESS the Canon list says so, the canon is open. This means that NO characters have been accepted as of yet, regardless of what the application says.

VII. Your application may either be written in first person or third person in accordance with your personal preference.

VIII. After being accepted, you may apply for as many characters as you wish. However, I request that you ask for administrative approval before you go over two. Try to keep the gender ratios even and your activity congruent.

IX. Logan's favorite installment of the Harry Potter series is The Prisoner of Azkaban.

X. Magical creatures are welcome but heavily scrutinized...UNLESS it is canon. If you decide to give your character a history including vampirism, lycanism, or veelaism, I strongly suggest you keep it interesting and make it relevant. We will be harsher on characters such as these.

Role Playing...
I. This site is set up for conflict as well as unions-your character will not love everyone in the forum, and certainly not even on their own side of the war. Of the same token, your character will not be loved by everyone. Hatred is an emotion. Learn it.

II. If you are playing a canon, stay in character. Any resource you need can be found online: the Harry Potter Lexicon, Wikipedia...the sources are endless. Be careful about play-by selection and orientation. We are very open-minded here, but Remus Lupin was not gay.

III. The foreign countries are intended to be homelands, battlegrounds, and meeting places.
Note: Foreign characters should have some tie to England to ensure that they get a good amount of roleplaying in. This is simply an advisement-not completely necessary.
