I just found this last night thinks to one of my fellow forum members in AoD:

That's the first 30 minutes of the AIR movie. You will need Windows Media Player to watch it. Go watch it and enjoy the cuteness that is Misuzu! Gao!!

This will only be available by animate.tv for about a week and half so watch it soon!

butterfly_chaser - June 23, 2005 03:14 PM (GMT)
is there no fansub version of the movie?

aquastar831 - June 24, 2005 04:41 PM (GMT)
Not that I know of right now. I'm guessing they're going to wait until the DVD comes out in Aug and sub it from DVD rip

Apparently, the voice actor that does Urahara in Bleach also plays a part in the Air movie, making it a must-see.

Well, not really, but Air is awesome all the same. Can't wait for that DVD rip. Ugh, I remember the wait for the Naruto movie.

Well, the AIR movie is officially out on DVD and one fansub group subbed it. I just watched this a few days ago. My R2 import of the Collector's boxset came in and it came with some good stuff.

Misuzu is even cuter in the movie and when she was a little girl. Like Yukito says, Misuzu has a beauty to her, and because of her spirit and innocence is what makes her a beautiful character and quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I was really happy about the romance angle that they went into for the movie. I'm sure for those of you who already saw the TV series or played the games know how the movie ends. Definitely watch it if you haven't yet. I will post pictures of the boxset contents when I get back from Otakon this weekend.

Oh my god. It was terrible, I couldn't finish watching it. It was too different from the TV series, the VAs, the style, everything. I hated it, I just deleted it.

butterfly_chaser - August 20, 2005 07:05 PM (GMT)
the file is huge! i can't put it in disc.

I personally liked it because of the Yukito/Misuzu coupling is more obvious. I'm not sure why anyone should be surprised that the movie was different than the TV series as it's classified as the alternate retelling of AIR. All the VA's are the same, except for Yukito's and Keisuke's, who weren't that bad anyway. I could agree that the character design is not as good as the original, but it's not that bad. You should watch more into it, things get better then.

I believed that Yukito was done by Midorikawa Hikaru instead of Daisuke Ono.

id liek to see it but i cant find it

I liked the movie; however, I refuse to say that it's better than the TV series. I loved the way the movie focused on Yukito, Misuzu and Haruko with tidbits of the legend of Kanna sprinkled in. It did make the foreshadowing a lot more obvious.

I think my standout character is obviously Sora. Hearing a crow say Nihaha was pretty funny.

Overall, the art quality enchanted me a bit because it felt more cartoony in a way. The soundtrack and VA's were awesome as usual and the story flowed really well minus the "walk of fate" at the end. Other than that, I love seein' Yukito in a trench coat.

On a different note, I'm downloading Eternal Fighter Zero. I can't wait to play as Misuzu in that game.

I actually saw in theaters... there was this huge Air poster that was at least 25 feet long!!! I wanted to grap it so much - but I ended up with a movie booklet, some phone cards, something else I can't remember now.

Watching it in a theater was totally differnt experience...

Sorry but after I watched episode #12 I decided I don't want to have anything to do with AIR anymore, so I didn't watch the movie. I've never seen such a disappointing ending; full of meanings ,but amazingly disappointing
