I'm curious about how some of you guys found this site. Whether it's from the link in the scans, or a link on another board, or whatever. (I didn't create this as a real poll because of all the possible sites and "another website" option could possibly get too many responses it wouldn't be that helpful.)


Personally, I found the site on Google before the board was even created.

Can only noobs answer? Or can anyone answer?

I guess anyone if they wanted too. But I mainly want to know of the newer users, hence the reason it's on this board.

Two words: Aquastar's Homepage.

I found this forum because of the the homepage, the scans, and baka-updates. When I first found it, I didn't register. But after a while, I got tired of seeing the MEMBERS ONLY thing so I registered.

After dwnloading Scanlations from the home page i felt obligated to join and i'm glad i did

Silva just stumble upon the forum when going to Aquastar's homepage to look for negima scans... :)

I stumbled into this place when doing a yahoo search on "AQS manga."

A dozen of connected links from sites I already forgot while lurking in some forums.

Basically just stumbled through the door... and found out that it was open.

i remember when i wanted to see how many negima And lovehina fansites were there, until i i found the media page of the homepage... and then i followed the link to here...(after collecting the downloadable schtuff)

Got really tired with directmanga...zzzzzzzzz....

I think the very first time I found these pages was when I was looking for Love Hina stuff, I came across Aquastar's stuff. I used to come in through the full files page which had all the files for download on it and then go to the front door and then to the old forums. I have been coming here since volume 1 Delrey was released and volume 3 Japan were the first scans I downloaded.

I heard the AQS brand for the first time when I was looking in #Belldandy
for some scans.

i came across AQS by means of the lovehina.ch website. i was browsing through thier negima stash when i saw the emblem.

Well, the most direct answer I can give is that I saw the link on the AquaStar homepage. What made me register was when I joined the IRC channel #aquastar-anime on irc.rizon.net and people were... persuading me to join.

I had searched Negima under a yahoo search bar and I found the loove hina/Negima site and found this forum under links. After I downloaded the scans of course.

I found this site while searching for negima manga, some sites seemed to have downloads for negima with AQS as the translators. So I looked it up and found this :)

I dont even remember its been so long....something about Aquas site and him startin a board......

Hmm... well, time for me to reveal my origins... I remember that I found AQS while looking for some Love Hina stuff... I can't remember WHAT exactly, I think I was looking for some good Love Hina screenshots for that CD I made... anyways, it mentioned Negima, a manga series that I had just started, so I bookmarked it... and kept track of the download stuff. I mostly stayed off the forums at first. I forget when I actually joined the forums...

Wavy told me bout this forum so he unleash a deadly monster in the forum BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D

The only forum on the net with an admin that likes Sister Princess enough to use them in graphics and even have their own forum dedicated to the series(although the forum is dead and noone posts in it cuz Sister Princess is unpopular and boring to most people because the anime is too different from normal)
Ahh well, it's still cool seeing my favorite anime being on a forum like this.

Add in another "through the home page" response. Although being the rather dense person I am, I stared at the homepage for a few weeks wondering where this infamous Aquastar page was before I noticed the forum link. :huh:

I found it while searching for Sister Princess sites, noticed Aquastar's (it was like the only one in English at the time), and then hooked up with the forums. I think it was in last September, maybe August.

I leeched the latest few chapters from StopTazmo.com and noted the comments regarding wanting more editors and translators, so I decided to pop over and see if I could become a proofreader on the team.

It's about time I did something other than leech, heheh.

I heard about Aquastar through the scanlations that Sushi-Y does. I also heard about it on Animesuki. I never found any links, so I googled the name.

I was gonna leech Happy Material, and I couldn't find it (It hadn't been released yet, but I didn't know that). Google Negima, came to the main site. Looked through the songs, and I was like, "wtf is this !@#*, it wasn't in the anime".

Then I joined the forums, asking about it. Wow, I wonder how different things would be if Happy Material had been released already back then. I probably wouldn't have signed up, and Pariah would still have her sanity!

got AQS scanlations from my friend, then search up the google, finally got the love hina-Mahou sensei negima homepage

lol, just found this thread. I dled the translations from that stop tazmo place (oh noes!)

Some of the later ones, and better ones, were aqs. i just typed in the link and then viola! i find a kickass board!
