Description: Best Music Game in the World

A japanese game from the creators of Wario Ware released only in Japan last August. DAMN IT. Playing this game is highly addictive and the songs are also catchy as well as repetitively fun. EVEN IF the game is really short. =(

For a more thorough decriptions wheres always Wiki

And now a few weird commercials from Japan (on Youtube)

Oh yeah, dont try to download and play it on the computer, the timing would be off because of the "VERY SLIGHTLY" unresponsive emulator, and it's not as fun as playing it on the gameboy. =(

Worst Case Scenario, Emulate it on the Gameboy!

EDIT:

Oh yeah.. there are some gameplay videos on Youtube if you'd like to have an idea. but some are recorded from emulators and they also complain that the timing is off. I must.. video tape mine some how..

This game is win. I unfortunately am terrible at it though. Hahaha...no wonder I can't play music well. ._.,

Is this game available outside of Japan? It's definitely something that the companies need to bring out to the overseas market. Besides, not everyone can just go to Japan and buy it like me. ^_^;;;

best GBA game ever?

My favorite ones are Fireworks, Calligraphy of Rhythm, and of course, Depilation of Rhythm... Super Tap Dance also has a great song, but I just can't go well in that one...

i can't get past those robots! >.<

Boo - August 12, 2008 02:55 AM (GMT)
Robots? You mean the third stage?

It's hard to get the timing right (usually I lift the stylus too early). You could play it with your eyes closed, it helps sometimes. (and sometimes not)

Hardest stages in the game: Moai Song 2 and Ping Pong 2. Ping Pong 2 just needs patience. Moai 2 on the other hand is IMPOSSIBLE even with training. I'll never get a gold medal on it =(

you really can't unless you've memorized when the hat robots are...
but the timing for that game has to be freakishly precise!
either i was to early to tap the screen (missing the robot) or lift up my finger too early, thus leaving a very very small patch unfilled!

GRAAAAGH!

as for stage 1 with the peg flinging...
i failed the first time.. then i closed my eyes and got a near perfect record... i missed 2 i think...

I think this game requires more precision than the first one in some songs but there are also ongs that don't require too much precision (even for a perfect mark...)

Some games really annoy me on their precision though... Robot is the quickest one to get used, while some others will take you a LONG time to get the beat right (after you learn how to do it, though, it'll get easy...

Fun fact about the first minigame: I got a "perfect" mark on the very last remix in the game BEFORE being able to get a "high level" score on the factory game (the first stage)
