Title: Da Capo Third Season!?
Description: Should there be...or not?
belliom - February 7, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
As i am finishing the last episode of Da Capo Second Season, some of you might ask "how in the world could you even bear to watch it?"
My answer is: "i'm not sure myself, but for some strange reason...i actually like it..."
Now i'd like to hear your opinion as to whether or not you love  ...or hate.
kct - February 7, 2007 09:05 PM (GMT)
Actually...there is no way they can have season 3, except that they decided to set it in...Da Capo II game timeline.
meganeshounen - February 8, 2007 01:16 PM (GMT)
Ahh yes... a Da Capo II anime would be sooo win, I'd forget all the other shows that were unfortunate enough to be aired on the same season. :P
Still, it takes Nemu's ending as the canon one, so...
Hel-lo~ Yume and Otome-neesan~
Oh, and Nanaka is damn great too.
belliom - February 8, 2007 03:50 PM (GMT)
ARRGH. I just finished the last episode...and it was SO WEIRD!!! I mean come on! Marriage?! Already? I mean...talk about a complete change of mood. It totally disappointed me...it was like they were focusing on Aisia ONLY. They rushed things too much. It felt like it needed one more episode or something. I still like the entire series, but the ending...makes me sooo frustrated
Wavehawk - February 14, 2007 06:44 AM (GMT)
Don't get me started on DC Second Season. I like Nemu, but dammit Second Season would have been better if they'd have kept her out, or only let her back towards the end.
I will only support a Da Capo II TV series if I can be ABSOLUTELY ASSURED that KyoAni will be doing it...

Well, look on the bright side.
That marriage ending sets up the "50 years afterwards, Grandpa Junichi with his granddaughters are living with a new guy, and they still attend high school whose principal is no other than Sakura himself" scenario.
Oh, and I haven't played the DC II game. Yet.
Overall, yeah... they did sorta rush through things. Like Kotori for instance, she got sidetracked as soon as Nemu returned to the spotlight... Kotori-chan... T_T
Chachamaru - February 15, 2007 07:54 AM (GMT)
I liked it. Ending was kinda oblivous he get with Nemu. Heh. But like megane said that lead to Da Capo II with his Grand daughter and Kotori and rest childerns. Manga for Da Capo II is pretty nice so far.
Thousand~Master - February 17, 2007 07:22 PM (GMT)
They would probably created DC II into anime, and it'd be excellent!
anyway, is there any manga scan for DC II? raw is fine too..
belliom - February 18, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
The games aren't translated into english though, or so i think. What a pity.
And yeah are the mangas scanlated? I heard some group was doing it, then stopped cos they couldn't find any raws...
Hmm. so far positive opinions for Da Capo. I hope they make a D.C. II anime, even though D.C.S.S was totally weird, annoying, and sometimes actuially good :) Don't get me wrong. I love the series but the second one can be a little...you know.
meganeshounen - February 20, 2007 12:47 PM (GMT)
Manga? The only manga serialized for the series were the DC ones.
Besides that, there IS one lone manga about DC II. It's called DC II -Imaginary Future-. The plot is the same with the game but with an additional twist of "what if Shirakawa Nanaka lived in the Yoshino household, alongside Sakurai Yoshiyuki?". Interesting, to say the least. :D
And the DC II anime's not that far... by the looks of the sales for the game, a wise move is to milk the franchise even more make an anime series.
Of course, the quality CAN be another problem on it's own... ^^;

LoL. That's true.
About the manga, i was talking about the first one, but is it true the scanlations stopped?

lambchopsil - February 25, 2007 12:02 AM (GMT)
Actually, the manga "Da Capo" was scanlated by MangaONE. They stopped at ch6 because of no translator (I *think*)
Wavehawk, how good are the high quality raws? I guess I could "ask" a few translators I know...(It doesn't seem to have too much text, either. And that's a good thing. Unlike Negima...)
belliom - February 25, 2007 03:02 PM (GMT)
From what i heard MangaONE stopped because of no raws. They said they would continue it if somone could provide the raws i think.

Here's the links to them (10mb per zip file):
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MX550BUBhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=EP31ASNOhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=5WLVFDTZhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=GV123CWKDo note, though, that this all depends on how often I can get G's Magazine. A friend on AnimeSuki, RelentlessFlame (who happens to be a big Da Capo fan), might be able to get them and scan them, but again, it all depends on whether or not someone's willing to put up with translating them.
lambchopsil - March 17, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
Ok, I talked to MonE...finally...
For DaCapo, it seems they are actually missing raws! So if anyone has vol2+ raws, please post!
As for that 2nd series, Wavehawk, they declined to do it at this time.
belliom - March 17, 2007 03:21 PM (GMT)
Great news. That means we might actually get to read what happens next.
shiro-xm - April 19, 2007 10:16 PM (GMT)
Haha, things are interesting in this thread as I see.. (talking about situation with raws and translations)
(and I like this anime and chars too. Personally and especially - Suginami (which was my avatar for a long time, even now number of my friends call me "Sugi-tan"; and Kotori-chan...T_T)
So. Whazup, ppl?
kct - May 9, 2007 12:23 AM (GMT)
And so I heard there will be an actual Da Capo II anime.

Wow, pretty good new, lol XD
mangatron - June 6, 2007 06:45 AM (GMT)
Ah, this is good news.
There can never be too much D.C. lol
An odd image appeared in my head:
A flashback to a pregnant Nemu.
Wait never mind me lol......
*mangatron hides

Well.. try imagining "oyaji" Junichi. That way, it'll be easier to visualize.
(Nemu doesn't appear in the game, and all that Junichi gets are a few cameos and a speaking role. That's it.)
Also, can't wait to see Nanaka-chan animated. Kotori/Nanaka <3

Well, here's some good news everyone. A friend of mine and I agreed to take matters into our own hands. We are doing Da Capo season one volume 2 (where MonE left off) and Da Capo Second Graduation (which is the second season).
We've released the first chapter of Da Capo Second Graduation. Awaiting translation for Da Capo season 1.
So u can come see our website here.
TEAor visit our IRC channel at #Tea@irc.rizon.net
We're also recruting for some Proofreaders, translators, and such. Maybe editors as well, for future projects such as Da Capo II (the third season)
Kotori FTW
DOWN WITH AISIA.

yo people. can any1 here tell me where i can get the first and the second season episodes for this series? i got the eroge for the entire series, but i never watched the anime becuz it was really troublesome trying to get all the episodes. plz PM me.
belliom - June 14, 2007 02:50 AM (GMT)
You can always search from www.baka-updates.com
EnpatsuShakuganLover - June 14, 2007 04:21 AM (GMT)
ill check for it. thx.
EDIT
i watched the first and second season, and let me just say that this is perhaps the weirdest incest series ever. first of all, junichi still has a harem around him even after he chose nemu, and second, nothing concrete happens between him and nemu so it makes the series very very dull and boring. especially season 2 becuz its nothing about magic this and magic that with that weird girl named aisha. honestly, unless the third season is a spinoff to the series with a new cast of characters like the ToHeart series, i will not be watching it.
