Title: To-Love-RU
Description: WOW

NegiStar - April 4, 2008 10:52 PM (GMT)
So I finally checked out the first episode and I'm very surprised how much XEBECS has improved their animation. All frames had solid gold written all over it.

Of-course, it can't compare to the graceful animations of ef or CLANNAD, but at least the eye coordination is set and the poses look fantastic! (If only the animation of To-Love-RU was a bit faster and more exciting, then I'd really like it) :P

AsunaNegi - April 5, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
Did someone release? I've been reading the manga, and find it enjoyable, if not annoying for the almost complete and total lack of plot development over 70 chapters. Seriously, Hentai has faster development than this...

Wow...very direct, haha.

YO YOU CHANGED YOUR PROFILE PICTURE AFTER SO LONG (sorry this is a side note) :P

AsunaNegi - April 5, 2008 01:19 AM (GMT)
Well, it's true. Hell, Body Transfer had conclusion to a semi-interesting plot in 2 episodes.

(Oh, and yes, I did change it. I felt like perhaps it was time to move on...and Jace was talking about how much he loved Kyonko and how he changed his avy).

I will say this- To-Love RU is about 1,000 times better than Rosario.

...Cause we know what we are getting as we watch this(Oodles of Fanservice)

AsunaNegi - April 5, 2008 04:58 AM (GMT)
I just want some Mikan/Run fanservice.

shugima - April 5, 2008 07:31 AM (GMT)
Well, for me it has been a while that I had a full fanservice anime. And To Loveru manga is already good, so I'll enjoy watching this.

Especially when Yami-chan shows up

AsunaNegi - April 5, 2008 12:04 PM (GMT)
I'm kinda in conflict....On the one hand, I want my image of Eve to stay pure....on the other, I'm thinking: It's freakin' FANSERVICE of Yami!

cypherzero - April 7, 2008 10:27 AM (GMT)
Well just started with this one, since I prefer light comedies. So far, so good

MagisterApprentice - April 8, 2008 01:11 AM (GMT)
I think this might be highly enjoyable, seeing as how if the fanservice is good enough, I can ignore the fact that there's no plot

Then again, after watching Dead fantasy 2, most things will now be hard-pressed to be enjoyable to me, but that's going off topic

Cobranaconda - April 8, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
It looks fun, but I preferred Kanokon over this, just slightly. Mainly because this reminds me too much of Girls Bravo :P

jdennis007 - April 8, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
I watched the first episode and thought it was pretty interesting it reminded me a bit of Urusei Yatsura, but with more fanservice (I never thought I would ever be writing that line).

shugima - April 14, 2008 12:40 PM (GMT)
Episode 2 is out

Why is it that I have my longest weekday just today, I want to go home...

And Yami-chan must appear in the anime

AsunaNegi - April 14, 2008 08:57 PM (GMT)
She must. I love Eve too much for her not to.

Tmoo - April 15, 2008 12:20 AM (GMT)
i've been reading to-love-ru doujinshi for over a year :P i saw from a certain member's avvy that there is quite a bit of fanny service.

*notes to take a look

AsunaNegi - April 15, 2008 12:36 AM (GMT)
You have to-love-ru doujins? :<

Tmoo - April 15, 2008 03:17 AM (GMT)
just watched first episode - OH LORD THE PANTSU.

EDIT: pretty nice animation.

Tmoo - April 16, 2008 06:20 AM (GMT)
I wish there was an HQ group doing the manga.

Oh, I want to see those doushins.

Got any yami-chan's?

Tmoo - April 16, 2008 07:55 AM (GMT)
of all the ones i have, no yami ._. no yui or saki doujins either. maybe i didn't look hard enough T_T

So Mikan ones do exist, That leaves me to go and search for those.

But episode 2 was fun, but also follows the manga. The only real thing that is other than the manga(I think) is Lala's transformation. Wow, that's just so fun.

I'm looking forward to an anime only episode

AsunaNegi - April 16, 2008 06:16 PM (GMT)
Mikan doujins....do want.

shugima - April 16, 2008 06:20 PM (GMT)
I found about 9 doushinji's now, only there still downloading :P really looking forward to them.

AsunaNegi - April 16, 2008 06:48 PM (GMT)
Send a link my way, would ya?

SagittaMagica - April 17, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
XEBEC was the animator for this?

Well... I love To-Love-Ru too much to care about that though...

Episode 1 was interesting enough... to continue watching... :D

SeamusBann - April 17, 2008 03:31 AM (GMT)
Manga question, am I the only one who got a bit peeved at Rito for the way he treated Lala in chapter 82?

Tmoo - April 17, 2008 04:02 AM (GMT)
i lol'd at that moment. yami was <3

Actually, I did understand, but thank you for reading my mind from where ever you are.

Just because someone doesn't find a certain scene humorous does not mean that they are dense.

Wow, amazing concept, different people might actually have different senses of humor.

Kageho - April 17, 2008 06:39 AM (GMT)
I apologize for what I said in haste. I should've said something along the lines of "Someone didn't remember about the certain situation that got him in that predictiment." As I thought you didn't recall he was under the effects of the situation he was in.

Though as you would like me not to assume things about yourself, I would appreciate the same in kind. Not once did I say you were dense; as stated, I thought you might've forgot. Not once did I say the situation that you were refering to was funny; in fact, the only funny parts were before and after that.

Again, I apologize for what I said in haste. Was not meant to come out sounding like I was taunting you or of that nature.

Tmoo - April 17, 2008 06:51 AM (GMT)
neither of you thought it was funny? D: rito completely blowing off the girl with the most outward affection for him was hilarious

Kageho - April 17, 2008 09:14 AM (GMT)
Actually, I didn't think it was funny. Its the same stuff he was doing the same as before, honestly. Just more blatantly obvious. So it was kinda "there".

AsunaNegi - April 17, 2008 11:48 AM (GMT)
Not to be hatin', but I wonder how quickly To-LOVE-Ru the manga will finish up. As much as I love it, I'd like to see some continuation on Black Cat or a less fanservicy series appear...

Tmoo - April 17, 2008 11:59 PM (GMT)
are both manga by the same author?

i'd like to see to-love-ru develop a central plot.

AsunaNegi - April 18, 2008 03:03 AM (GMT)
Yeah, which is why Eve is in both.

Kageho - April 18, 2008 06:50 AM (GMT)
Considering how popular To-Love-Ru is in Japan, I don't think that we'll see it end anytime soon.

And frankly, I don't think we'll see a centralized plot, because the moment we do, it'll likely mean the end of To-Love-Ru because it would be concerning the fact that he's in love with Lala.

Tmoo - April 18, 2008 08:33 AM (GMT)
*waits for hq-esque group to take up to-love-ru somewhere*

Kageho - April 20, 2008 01:20 AM (GMT)
Well... I certainly wasn't expecting what I got in Chapter 97... Too bad it won't happen in the animated version.

SeamusBann - April 20, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
Ah yes, 2 further "complications" :P

But that Rito was able to say that in public....
