This series is like the horror movie "Dawn of the dead" but a harem.


Summary:
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.

In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi Private High School shortly after it was attacked by "them." The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.


This series has life and death situations, ecchi, comedy, action.
There is no anime for it, only a manga with each chapter being released by Dragon magazine once a month.

So far 20 chapters have been released and scanalated.
The art and story are both WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED series.
All characters you will either really love and Really hate. Whether the character is male or female.
Please read the first chapter at least at onemanga and lets talk about it.

Alright, I'll bite. I've been meaning to read this for ages, and finally got around to it. I've on volume 3, iirc, and this is awesome. Sucks for the guy carrying the loli, though. Pee is not a fun thing to have in your clothing.

Art, story, characters almost everything about is amazing. Heck the entire world is changing and so are the people. This is really incredible, Heck it is the end of the world.

LOL, I loved that scene when he had to walk on top of the wall while carrying the girl on his back.

My faveorite female and male characters would have to be the samurai girl and the guy with glasses whos great with guns.

Yes she is, Theres a chapter at the end of Vol.4 dedicated to her. She opens up the true side of her face.
Ths chapter brings out the series charm in my opinion.

And each chapter is roughly 40 pages long which is nice.

OK, I cant take this!
Its been a freakin' year and there is still none of our zombies and chicks_with_F_cup+_tits manga! Which is currently on HIATUS!
The most I can dig for news is that the Author is off writing some H-doujins, the Artist is doing a different manga. Though there were "supposedly" rumors that the series will resume on January of 2k'10, but unless we live on the world of Persona 2 all we can do is extend our patience some moar.

I'll be honest, when I posted waay~ back about reading this, I actually only read the first chapter, initially I didn't like it 'cause I found it to be too cliche'd in plot with so many things ripped from Movies and games (28 weeks/days later, Dawn of the dead etc.) though sadly the girls in those aren't as HAWT looking as what HSotD has.

2 Days ago, I was rummaging my DVD back ups for some family photos, and I incidentally found the HSotD CH_1 file from there. I didn't have much to do, so I read it, 2 hours later I was gripping the edge of my sit, gnawing on my nails crying WTF WAS THAT EPIC THING I JUST READ?!
Fan-service aside, the psychological aspect of the series (like Takashi's and Saeko's mental states about the pandemic) was really well highlighted and explained, Sayo.. hmm I dunno why but I get reminded of Hasegawa Chisame, Shizuka... :wub:
The girls of this series have breasts on the F to H scale, for the series to incorporate them with a genre like this... The author and artist are real genius!

Which makes me return to the matter at hand, why the Hiatus?
HSotD actually is faring well in Japan(once it ranked 7th on weekly rankings) I see no reason for this to actually be halted. Though of course "on Hiatus" sounds more comforting than "discontinued/cancelled" but the fans deserve more than this, and they want this NAO!

Now, Ill shut up and once again wait for this series' restart.. anyone else still reading this? or have you guys already turned to zombies? :P
