Title: Your perfect game?
Description: Got this off another forum

I saw this on another forum and liked the idea behind it. Basically using the layout below create your perfect game.

Name:
Genre: (what kind of game is it?)
Characters: (your own, or some from gaming history!)
Description: (the meat of your game idea)
Levels: (what kind of levels exist in the game?)
Special Equipment: (any special controllers/equipment required?)
Voice acting: (Any? If so, who would be your dream actors?)
Online: (Is there any?)

This is an idea I just thought of recently and going to work on it more and more.

Name: Polarity (at the moment)
Genre: Puzzle
Characters: Magnetic ball
Description: Basically you roll around the high tech levels trying to avoid metal objects from sticking to you...the goal is to have no object stick to you when time runs out.
Levels: Futuristic boards/mazes
Special Equipment: no specia; equipment really needed
Voice acting: unless the menus have voice acting, no for the most part.
Online: user created/Downloadable maps.

Go!

there is no perfect game
for me, there's just enjoyable or not

Name: Mythical Eden

Genre: Role-Play Game

Characters: Original Characters

Description: Eden isn't a wonderful place. Its in a constant state of near world war, there are monsters that wish to make the world a hell on Eden, and there's always that joyful weapon of world wide destruction that could anniliate the planet kicking about.

Why should you care so much? Was it because you decided to be a brave little child and touch a portal to another world? Was it because you decided that if you go to Eden and save it, you could become a hero? Was it because you were absolutely bored out of your mind and thought, "oh gee, this sounds like a great game!"?

Well, you are in luck if you answered yes to all those was its! You get a free trip to Eden! Just that's in one way and non-refundable after portal usage.

Enjoy your stay, you hero you.

Levels: No real levels, standard RPG fare, but the world of Eden is based on our legendary lands/ideals. So Avalon, Asgard, Shangrala... They all exist in this world.

Special Equipment: None. Unless you count needing a brain as special equipment.

Voice acting: Yes.

Online: Probably not.

Genre: 2D Fighting (no surprise)
Characters: A good mix of original characters and stereotypes, kinda like King of Fighters. While you have the wrestlers, obvioius martial artists, ninjas, a few anime girl stereo types, there's a lot of people with original fighting styles like Terry, Kyo and King
Description: I like my fighting games to have a story to why these people are fighting. While having a tournament like KOF is accectable, I'd like to have more individualized storypaths like in Guilty Gear or Melty Blood. In addition, I prefer to have some sort of team-style combat because it adds a second layer of combo possibilities.
Levels: I'm not a stickler for level designs in my fighting games. I like seeing water effects in the later Tekken series so try doing that in a 2d fighting game.
Special Equipment: Stick and arcade stick in, and that's all i need
Voice acting: Just match the characters and I'll be fine. I also like it when certain characters speak English and others in Japanese (mostly Guilty Gear).
Online: Lagless internet please. No one wants lag in the middle of an epic combo.

Personally, my tastes in fighting games is very slim with very few examples of my tastes. King of Fighters XI is the closest of being my perfect fighting game but it lacks online play. Right now, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is shaping up to be my new favorite game as it looks like it has the easy MvC2 combo feeling with a more sophisticated tagging system for some interesting combos. That art style is to my liking with high def sprites and really cool animations. I really hope more characters come out of that game (over 30 and I'm cool) because I may have found my perfect game.
