Toradora has a novel and manga adaption allready an anime on october 1st.

Heres the story in a nutshell:
Guy wants a girlfriend but looks scary. He also owns a disfigured parrot(Seriously its scary).

Girl is petit and cute and has a large temper.
Her name is Taiga(TIGER. Tora means tiger).

Anyway the guy is in love with one of Taiga`s friends, and Taiga is in love with one of the guys friends.
Guy finds out that she`s in love. And in order to keep his mouth shut Taiga breaks into his house at night(Loudly and possesed) and trys to kill him.
Did I forget to mention she trys to kill him with a shinai and shes in her night dress with a face showing PURE wrath?


I wont say anymore.

I've seen that an "english" translation of the title refers to the manga as Tiger x Dragon.

Now I know that formal/correct Japanese for dragon is Ryu, so does anyone know if Dora is used in any way (slang/regional/allusion) for dragon?

Does she really? At the beginning I'd say yes, but especially after the way she mucked up her confession, I'm wondering if her heart has had a change that her mind isn't ready to accept quite yet.

just found this series out...read it a long time ago but at that time there was only 4 chapters ....and then i forgot about it but it was awsome =P

Well, I'm getting the same impression from Ryuuji as well, the unacknowledged change of heart.

But even if the principles end up with their original "targets", the bonds between Ryuuji and Taiga are already impressive.

its pretty obvious what will happen...happens in every one of the tsunder mangas....just in a different way lol...and a different backround and story line but the results are the same...

Yeah, but 'twould be a curve ball if they just become the best of platonic friends. But yeah, it's going the standard, the fun is watching the journey.

well i personally like drama....but just lameness journeys are just...lame...i would rather it get the the point quickly...which is why my favourite manga....is sometimes the one shot manga or the manga that is like 1 or 2 volumes but awesomeness in every chapter lol
