AQS Anime 2011 Year End Awards

Welcome to the 2011 Edition of the AQS Anime Year End Awards. Rules are the same as last year's:

-You have until Midnight PST on January 31st to place your votes, the winners will be announced on February 1st.
-For Each Category, choose up to 3 Anime
-Only Anime that aired in 2011 are eligible for the Awards. For a list of anime that aired, check here:

I've decreased the number of categories to vote in since the community here on our forum has decreased...not to mention it'll be easier for people to vote for less categories. (And for me to count them in the end) Also, you can change your choices as much as you want, but it'll be locked the moment it hits the deadline.

Wow... i jsut realized that apart from TWGOK, i didn't watch any other anime this year...

Maria Holic Alive - SHAFT'd to oblivion. Best part is Tomokazu Sugita. That's it.
Infinite Stratos - The HNNNNNNNGability of the characters is matched only by how !@#* the ending arc was.
Appleseed XIII - I'm watching it. But *&#@ its ugly. And why did they make Maaya so girly for Deunan? ;_;

Maji de watashi ni Koi Shinasai Ugghh... Its worse than a hang-over, 1st ep was awesome though.
Dragon Crisis Not even the premise of Kugimiya Rie, will lessen the stench of this crap!
Hidan no Aria Same reason as above.


Best Manga/Game/Novel Adaptation
Steins;Gate Hands down...
Haganai (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) Because Sena and, surprisingly, Rika is Hazardous Hnnnnngggggg materials. But not AOTY level though.
Ben-To - May not be AOTY for me, but it was a damn good adaptation! Orthrus Duo FTW!

Hououin Kyoma Okabe Rintarou (Steins;Gate) IS THERE REALLY ANYONE ELSE THAT CAN TOPPLE HOW AWESOME HE IS?!
Katsuragi Keima(TWOGK 2) Oh yeah, there was this guy...

So many choices; so little motivation to watch any of them because of that. There are Things over at Crunchy from 2010 I still haven't watched.

Didn't find 'Dog Days' on any of the lists, but it is listed as being released in 2011, so that's why I included it.

Gosick. (One of the only two series I watched completely. Characterization and drama.)
Dog Days. (Nice comedy elements, romance, but a bit simplistic.)
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. (Only other thing I watched any of at all.)

Rio Rainbow Gate. (Nice fan-service, but too simplistic and repetative.)
