OK, this show has been out for a looooooong time and I know at least a few people here watch it ...
I thought I'd make a thread to at least possibly find out who else watches it.
I've been watching it since the beginning of Dec, about the time of episode 34, but I watched all of Ep 1 to 33, first, in order.
It's gonna go to 52 episodes (ignoring the recap episode), 9 more to go, latest is Ep 43.

For those (few) wondering what it is about:
Three of the most powerful espers (level 7) in Japan are three 10 year old girls, Kaoru, Aoi and Shiho.
They are the special team called "The Children" (working for BABEL) who do all sorts of crime fighting (usually) against bad espers and other esper related stuff.
Their team leader (more like the one who tries make them behave) is a guy called Minamoto who they all have a crush on (he's about 20?, 10 years older than them )
... though, the word crush doesn't really match the situation

Pretty much it's a comedy with the usual J deviant perversion, but applied most of the time to one of the girls: Kaoru.

The undercurrent of the show is that the girls may grow up to be evil 'demons' and join the 'bad' espers, but Minamoto is trying his best to stop that from happening
Minamoto has a glimpse into the future showing that Kaoru will join the bad espers and cause something on par with nuking Tokyo ... but he believes he can stop that from happening by guiding them.

There's also a manga, but I've never read it (as usual for me - I rarely read any manga)

There's also a DS game that came out last September ... anyone got it who can say what it is and what it's like?

I REALLY like the original OP (up to episode 26) but the Ep 27-> OP introduced yet another new character who finally made her appearance ... in Ep 43 ...

And I thought I'd make a Poll also ... just to find out which of the 3 most prefer

I was watching, then I stopped torrenting stuff and started streaming because it puts less strain on my PC (which is screwed up enough as is), and I can't seem to find anywhere online with streams of it

I think I got to 37 or something.

Well, I must say, 49 episodes and still it's really funny and rarely getting boring from repeating stories.
Actually, 49 (+ the next Episode 50) has got to be the best idea they have dome up with yet ... Minimoto now has the memories and appearance of when he was 12 year old ...
Ah it's certainly the funniest show I watch at the moment ... but only 2 or 3 more episodes to go

I watch it and Hata is a fan of the manga(which I really should start reading too) I'm hoping the girls'll get some cameos in Hayate 2 like they did here.

@Cobranaconda: usually when the xvid is ready for ddl its also up on megavideo's site, just click the ddl link on Chihiro's site and then the megaupload link on the animetake.com page, when the megaupload page comes up to the left there should be a little link that says "view on megavideo".

Well I finally watched 51 and thus the end of the season.
The introduction of a new character at the end hopefully suggests an already planned season2 some time soon down the track.

And the OVA is out on TT ... apparently the group doing it is falling apart so it was released without any QC ...

Everyone is something like 3 to 6 years older in the OVA.

... and ... !!! ... in the middle the 3 girls say that if they sell 20,000 copies of the OVA they will make another season

Hope that is true and that they sell 20,000 copies
