So with a certain degree of dread we have.... K-On!! or Angel Beats next... or I could go back and see what happened in Gunslinger Girls S2....

RE: Angel Beats - great piano song (OP), a few other good songs in the show - has a VERY sad side to the story (as expected after watching the first episode) good anime overall!
(I still haven't bothered to watch the 2nd half of K-On!! -s2 yet )

Sky Girls, Toradora, (Is that Aisaka Taiga, or Louise the Zero? They're both just as short and flat, and pretty much treat their 'dog' in exactly the same way...) Strike Witches 2, Happiness, and Spice and Wolf 2.

Watched Tetsuwan Birdy Decode yesterday and the day before ... quite good ... certainly worth the large amount of time I wasted on it
Will be watching season 2 shortly ... both seasons get pretty good ratings on ANN (2 actually higher than 1) so hopefully the 2nd season should be as good as or better.
Graphics is pretty average, OP/ED is nothing to remember but story is different enough to make it interesting.

Though the entire Glittering Crux has leveled up by destroying the West Maiden Seal, Takuto and Tauburn wont be downed by the ridiculous puny power-leveling of the enemy.

And also, Mizuno and Marino are the best twins for the past 3 years, seconded by those wins from Nyan Koi.

Honestly, I initially thought that this show was some kind of animated sentai sort of show aimed for family friendly viewing... How wrong I was!

Angel Beats - ...

The sheer !@#* level totally annihilates any positives for me. I can't even remember any good bits after that crap. Ugh. I need to go recuperate. Should watch Disappearance a few times.

Watching Yu Yu Hakusho again today. (Been about ten years... back when it was just fan-subbed...)

The OP/ED dubs make me want to pull my teeth out, but I'd forgotten about the general comedy and the interplay between Yuuske and Kuwabara!

Perhaps I'm unusual, but my favorite character, because of a fan-fic I once read, is Kuwabara's sister Shizuru!

Finally got around to watching InuYasha - Final Act (well almost finished)
Watching what happened to all the "Naraku's" and also see who survived to the end ... 5 episodes to go.

Bought (and watched) Summer Wars on Blu-Ray today.

Zetsubou Sensei - haven't seen
Hyakko Ryouran - fanservice with strange colouring - poor
Ichiban Ushirou Daimaou - fanservice - average - amusing
Shukufuku no Campanella - great animation quality - RPG style story - almost average
Infinite Stratos - OK story - amusing - fanservice
Gosick - 2nd best of this lot IMO (still got 2 episodes to go) (no fanservice)
Mahou Shoujo Madoka - best of these IMO (no real fanservice)
Kore wa Zombie - loli fanservice - not much story
oretachi ni tsubasa - total fanservice trash (I dropped it when the story finally started coz it was too late)
Hoshizora e Kakaru - some fanservice - (arrrggghhhh not the little brother!) - otherwise it's OK
Hidan no Aria - some fanservice - average story - 3 more episodes to go

Yes fanservice seems to be the major point in many anime these days ...

MM! SS! - Yuri threesome. And it was not just a dream either.

Next. Hyakko Ryouran Samurai Girls.
Kuro says decent enough, Randomc got a better than expected, Kano says poor.
How controversial. Guess I'll have a look.

@ Strange One if you are going to watch Samurai Girls watch the dvd/bluray version and don't watch the last episode watch the last special instead (depending on which group you get it could be the same thing though) if it is black and white then don't watch it, watch the special instead.
