Ichigo Kurosaki is your typical delinquent guy going to high school. He has a lot of friends and gets decent grades, but there's something that denies him an ordinary life: he, along with his siblings, has been able to see ghosts like ordinary people for his entire life. This has always been a part of his normal routine, seeing ghosts and talking with them, it's no big deal for him. Somehow he accepts this reality, but when a mysterious girl named Kuchiki Rukia ends up in his room saying that she's a shinigami on a quest to extinguish bad spirits or hollows and purify them, Ichigo finds it way too hard to believe. However, all hell does break lose when one of these hollows end up attacking his family and especially Ichigo, a person with the extraordinary amount of spiritual power. Kuchiki ends up being defeated by the evil spirit and it's up to Ichigo to decide if they all die or struggle for life: if he'd pierce his chest with Rukia's weapon and take a part of Rukia's shinigami powers, he'd be able to stop the hollow. He agrees.

In the next morning, Ichigo wakes up in his own house and it seems like his family doesn't remember the hollow attack at all. He ponders if everything ended as fast as it had began, if the shinigami went back to her own world? At school he's surprised to see that she hasn't gone anywhere: Rukia is enlisted as a new student to the school and she's saying that she isn't a shinigami anymore: Ichigo has gained all of her powers and now has the duty of defending the innocent souls from the hollows! Will he agree on this and if he does, how does it affect his personal life, his family and friend, the spiritual worlds - everything?

Notes:

One of my favorite animes following Naruto. This anime packs with action, comedy and some spirit stuffs more than you can imagine. It has 34 episodes in total. So far, all the episodes are available via torrents (fansubs) and japanese dvds. I would recommend to download this and watch it.

Have you ever watched the part when Aizen left the Court of Pure Souls? He looked just like Ichigo's father; but he looks cleaner and cooler though.

Well let's say that I haven't seen some of the episodes of Bleach in the first part so I don't know.

What I like in the anime is the fight scenes. I really like the way they drew it.

yup, you said it right, man. the fight scenes are REALLY GOOD!!! though, to tell the truth, their " comedy side" on the show during fight scenes doesn't seem too appropriate and thus does'nt make that much of a laught. by the way, mr. manager, i recomend you to watch the first episodes so as to be more hooked on Bleach. it will really be entertaining.

I have eps 1 - 60+ of the anime but I'm still watching a lot of anime's I haven't finished so I'll watch bleach when I finish my other anime. It's still ongoing so there's no need for me to watch it now. I prefer anime that is completed already.

You can watch a lot of animes online you know you just have to search for it.

I've watch Negima, MAR, Yakitate Japan, Suzuka, Bleach, and many other animes in the net.

The resolution is not that big but I think it's just fine as long as I can read the subtitle.

Eh, to much Bleach in my system... Only watched like maybe 35 episodes and is pretty tired of it... I liked the first season, but the 2nd season was a big downhill for me... Better to stick to its comedy than go moncho serious...

well, bleach, i don't think that it is actually concentrated on comedy. it seems to focus more on the action and fight scenes.

Bleach is an exquisite mixture of serious action and comedy. One moment you have Ichigo fighting for his life, and in the other, Rukia's kicking him in the head telling him to stop being such a moron.

Awesome.
