I'm very useless in this kind of stuff, but at least I'd like to let you know
that the release date for ITSUDATTE MY SANTA is on the 7th DECEMBER. It would be a nice beginning for the aqs fansub team to sub it. Besides, there will be only two episodes of 30 minutes each so I suppose It shouldn't be a great effort.

Well you guys, I sort of have some bad news. Apparently, the translator that was going to work with us from Delta Anime has decided not to do translation for the series. I just got an e-mail eariler today from our contact.

We're not out yet though. We'll just need to keep searching for a translator.

How about that Shinobu Fansub translator? Did you ask him if he wanted to join us?

Aqua talked to him but doesn't want to work with us. He wants to do it by himself. (He had bad experiances with another group.)

Hey Aquastar and the favorite FanSubbers, I know you guys are busy with other works and projects like KANON, Negima OVA/Manga and Otome wa boku ni koishiteiru, but I have a slight favor to ask. This anime may look like a lot of you might lose taste into it, since it's sort of uncommon with girls anime~ but I believe this would be a nice anime you guys could work on as a project. It's not long and it's short as well.

Even though MugenX is doing their fansubs, and I checked it out after dling it, they did a decent job, but they are small groups so the quality of the subs aren't great. (White subs that are bit blurry), and timings of subs werent exactly same...

So I was wondering if you guys were interested in doing an anime, I beg of you please >___<;;~ it's a great anime and it's really too bad it's not being subbed nicely!! AQS please take the opportunity to consider of subbing this awesome anime! you wont regret it!

I don't know for sure, from what I've heard we are.

A fansub sounds like a good idea. It would probably do some real good.

i got an idea. why dont u guys do the Chokotto Sister anime? the manga is pretty good, and the group that tried to fansub the anime basically died out, so it is an open gold mine for subbing a series that has not been successfully completed yet.

I can say this, I wouldn't need Aqua's approval for this. For jumping on a serie like that, that's prolly not AQS style of doing things. Mostly for "repuation" aspects and for policy things. I doubt "we" will. Sadly/sorry, whatever.

I'd like to suggest that u distritute your mangas releases as direct downloads instead of just torrents. I've been trying to re-download the latest Mahou Sensei Negima chapters (from 220 onwards) but I the torrents are all dead and I haven't been able to find direct download links. Or u could release a batch of all chapters released so far in a torrent.
Web Pages like http://www.mangafox.com/ distribute pages of your releases but in reduced size and quality.
In terms of quality, clearing and translation your releases are by far the best. I'm only asking u to make them avalable for download.

I think this is marvelous idea....but count me out on helping. I'm barely here anymore anyway......sigh
