this game's midi music was what made me fall in love with it.

it's a shooter, kind of like G-darius, or that arcade game with the planes and the helicopters and the tanks...'cept this one's got GIANT SPACE SHIPS and actual SHIELDS. your shields are limited, of course.

controls:

up, down, left, right: arrow keys

buttons (for type A, you guys can figure out the other types):
shift: shields (i wouldn't use shift for the shields though, since holding shift for more than 8 seconds brings up a key lock thing)
z: shoot
x: shields (the alternate button for shields)
spacebar: shoot (the alternate button to shoot)
start: pause

have fun. oh, and you have unlimited credits, so don't worry if you lose all your ships.

download:

the zip is 1.5 megabytes. the unzipped is 12.5. lol

btw, the more you use your shielding, the less firepower you have (since you use the ship's battery for shields and your shots are mostly laser)

this game was made back in 1997. the era of good games. haha

ok, my shooter-freak friend told me something.

This game is an older version of a PC game called RefleX. It has all the stages and music, remastered and remade.

Now my .midi remake sounds like crap >_O
