Administrator Group: Admin Posts: 1,165 Member No.: 1 Joined: 5-January 05	Hi everyone! Welcome to the AquaStar Sites event for February. Who is the Best Girl of Anime? This is the second year that I will be hosting this event, which originated a few years ago on AnimeGamer.com. You will have a chance to nominate and vote for your favorite girls and we'll find out who everyone thinks is the greatest. Let's get started: Nomination Round: 1) Each forum member is allocated two nominations for the poll. Exceptions are the mods (erizo, syn, and myself) and the following members who will get three: Captain Obvious, WaveHawk, Hiro Daioh, Epoch, KazumaID, cHuDa-SaN, DJCream, Wakuseino, O_o, AKOL, and Keitaro. If you notice, these were the members that participated in the last contest, so you guys will get an extra nomination spot to thank you for your participation. 2) You may post your nominations in this thread by listing the name of the character and the series. 3)This thread will be locked after 11:59 pm Eastern Time of Feb. 12 and I will post further instructions for the next round. That's it! Have fun everyone and root for your favorite girl(s)!!

(THWACKS, Standing Piledriver) He meant you can only nominate TWO CHARACTERS, while the players of the last contest can nominate three! grumble It's kind of hard given that most of the immediately popular ones, specifically those in bishoujo anime, are what come to mind. And most of those have been posted already. Well, here goes (BTW, I am fully expecting erizo to nominate Stellar): Lacus Clyne - Gundam Seed - Tough choosing between her and Cagalli-chan, but Lacus has more overall fans. Sorry Cagalli. Kirika Yuumura - Noir - She's cute, softspoken, and she can kill you with her ID card. What more can you ask for? Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury - Sailor Moon - You know I was going old-school on you guys. Come on! She's still popular, and the live-action version of her is cute (and slightly more evil) I was also tempted to vote Lynn Minmei of Macross, but I doubt anybody nowadays has even heard of her, except from old-school Macross fans saying how much they hated her. Bweh.
