Will someone please pick up subbing the series Gintama? It is a very funny and interesting show, but BakaNeko, the group that has picked up subbing it, has seemed to stop at episode 4. Episode 5 + has yet to be released. Is there anyone willing to take this project on?
YouTube only has up to episode 4. It seems like BakaNeko is the only group that picked up this series... Why hasn't any other fansubbing group picked up this series? Albeit it is kind of hard, especially with all the cultural references and jokes, etc. but it is well worth it, IMHO. |

Most groups will not pick up a series that another group is already doing unless thay were already doing it or if the group that was doing it announces that they have dropped it or there is sufficient evidence to indicate that they are not doing it anymore. I would advise you to be patient and wait for them to do more episodes, summertime can slow a group down because people go on vacation this time of the year.
