Okay, so I finished ToHeart and enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Oh course, because it was so good, I decided to watch the sequel, Remember my memories. Okay, so... After watching one episode, should I even bother with the rest? It pretty much seems to take everything the original anime did, and throw it out the window... It seems like it completely ruined the series at the level Gundam SEED Destiny ruined Gundam SEED. So, what do you think? Should I keep watching this, or completely disregard its existence and watch ToHeart2 instead?

Well, seeing that Remember My Memories is a direct sequel with the original cast, while ToHeart2 only occurs 3 years after and in the same school setting, I can't say that you should skip watching the former.
RMM's pretty much caters to two things. One, it's the finale where everyone's graduating, and two, it pretty much gives Multi her own story focus. If those two won't suit your fancy, then I guess you can just skip it. TH1 and TH2 doesn't relate to each other anyway, except for a few things. P.S. There's an upcoming 3 episode OVA coming for ToHeart2, starring Sasara and Maryan. kyun~ |

Im not gonna lie, im a fan of RMM. While it did seem delayed, it focused on character relationships far more than it did on actual plots for the show, at least as far as im concerned.
Plus i think the art for the series is amazingly good. And also, i do feel that it gives closure to the series. Full closure is just something that doesnt always happen in anime endings, and im usually not satisfied with quite a few endings (not gonna name names tho) but i was satisfied with RMM. |

Well at first, the change in animation threw me off a bit, but I adjusted and it was pretty good afterwards. All in all I think you should just watch RMM.

It's not really the art that annoyed me, though (I don't really like the art style, but I could get over that easily enough. After all, you have to be pretty tolerant with changing art styles if you like series like Initial D... It could also be that I really like older art styles and animation styles over the newer ones, too), it just seemed like they completely changed some of the characters from what they were. What especially annoyed me was that they completely changed how Kotone met Hiroyuki or at least how involved Hiroyuki was with her. In the first series, Akari was the one who had mostly interacted with Kotone and Kotone's love interest was Masashi. They basically changed what on of the things I thought was good about the original; not every girl was in love with Hiroyuki... I don't know if they're going more with the game or what, but it just doesn't feel right with this series that seems so typical and dull complimenting the original, which was surprisingly fresh to me...
But I guess I'll give it another chance. Maybe something will happen that will make it better... |

finished watching this a while back too.. and i can say it was a mistake to watch this without watching to heart first.
i cant say i was happy with the art, but like MasterXHunter, i can get over that easily- i'm always on the hunt for a good story(much like Kazumi Asakura) heheh.. and the plot kinda resembles that of Chobits- man and machine and their relationships, and i happen to like Chobits so i end up comparing the two and RMM comes up short. ah, but what do i know? i dint even see the first season! |

I've watched TH2, but not TH. Mainly because i haven't even heard of TH before TH2.. I plan to watch it but i'm lazy nowadays. Does anyone know if there will be a TH2 sequel or something?

The artwork is definitely better than the To Heart itself, but the story is mainly focused to Multi, and Akari's jealousy
the best thing of RMM is the OP: Daisuki da yo (into your heart) |

Yup, there's an OVA for TH2 alright. It's going to cast another girl from the X-Rated version: Sasara. major A tad older than Takaaki, tsundere, and I'm obviously not looking forward to this one. [/reversepsychology] |

Well, no. TH1 is just some other people unrelated to TH2 except for the fact that it is in the same place but at different times. But you could benefit from watching TH1 but i didn't so i think you'd be okay.

so it's kinda like the case with onegai teacher and onegai twins right? same place, different time, with some appearances from the cast from the first season?
AQS already released the series(TH2, i mean), i just have to reach out and grab it.. |
