Good to have you back Lomion.  Just so you know, Forums are not what they used to be. AQS officially dropped NEGIMA so we have a lot less people that frequent the boards, that being said, we still have a pretty strong community built over the years and some of the most interesting Negima topics are still going on actively. But other part of the boards have gone silent. A lot of the old school people grew out of anime and moved on. (Can't blame them, Anime is not what it used to be - Market saturated by too many similar shows and a great lack of original content) AQS is still AQS. WB Lomion. Rehab for what, might I ask?
I think part of it also has to do with the general state of anime forums. Only the big forums and manga sites are doing well (animesuki, hongfire, onemanga...etc). Most of the niche forums have died thanks to the advent of RSS and other changes to how scanlations were released prior 2007*. I'm amazed that AQS still has some life, even if it's only the negima forums. *sites like onemanga who upload the chapters, negating the need to go to the scanlator's site to download decreased the amount of site viewership and thus less recruitment opportunity, although that's only one side of it. |
