Doujin Work, A More Realistic View of Doujinshi

when i saw this series for the first time, i thought, "COMIC PARTY RIP!!!" but then as i look through the episode, it shows what the true doujinshi world in japan is like; otakus drawing perverted comics and then selling them. not only that, the profitable side of selling doujinshi is actually stated also. overall, a very wacky series that i will watch from now on. i hope it gets even more interesting as time passes and more episodes are released.

Well, the manga is very interesting, but I haven't had time yet to view the anime. Can anyone tell me how similar the anime is to the manga so far.

is the manga scanlated? i didnt know. plz give me the link to the scanlators who are doing it.

The manga is lol-tasticaly awesome. I patiently await the 4th volume to come out to add to my collection. I saw a clip of the first episodes when I was in...a doujinshi shop in Akihabara. Fitting eh?

Think of it as Eimi Ooba the early years. I liked the scene in the first episode where the girls were talking on the train and all the guys around them were actively listening and pretending they were ignoring them and also what exactly was Najimi doing all night?

too bad they're only 15-minute half-isodes D: my favorite scene was the actual selling. hahaha~ (and the 'rape manga' part too)

episode 2 is out. i really hope that this series is different than comic party other than the rape manga.

@Evil no Tsuyuri was up all night drawing the manga, when they are waiting on line to go in to the con Najimi mentions that she was up all night then she finds out about the type of doujins her friend does.

Well, I wish my creative powers were better as I'd love to be a part of the selling my own doujinshi. That'd be awesome. Selling at Comic Market...something I should shoot for one of these days. D;

Strangely, I feel motivated by Najimi...despite her motives being strictly for greed purposes.

I hope the anime shapes up well compared to the manga.

can u draw? if you watched comic party, you kinda see that if you cant draw, you wont be able to sell anything.

but he said "I'd love to sell my own doujinshi", and that would require him drawing his own.

doujinshi vendor = selling doujinshi, meaning you don't have to be the artist, though it's generally preferred that the artist shows up to sell.

EDIT: i'll wait for shini's response though since i really don't care.

.... if he was just going to be a vendor, that wouldnt mean that he would be selling his own....

maybe it's his own doujin company or something and he hires artists. meeeeh i don't care anymore~

What I like about this series is also the fact that they dont hide what kind of doujins they are doing.

yes. true to that. i heard that 50-70% of doujins sold in Comic Market are h-doujins, so it is great that there is a series that reflects the true natures of the doujin world. especially showing a high school girl that sells rape manga.. lol...

the thing that seems weird to me is that the guy in the suit is Najimi's supposed childhood friend. how old is he? he looks to be in his mid-20s!

It's just plain to see that Justice likes Najimi and sees a rival in that open pervert, good looking, otaku Hoshi.

I am more interested in the relationship between Justice and Sora.

Wai~ this is so funny... plz tell me where to find the manga (i watched eps 1-4 of the Anime). i loved the 'Yuri' joke in the first episode, the series is so funny with all the misunderstandings ^.^;
