Nanatsuiro Drops, New fansub project by AQS

When are you gonna release the first episode? T_T I've been wanting to watch it so much. Not sure why though. Maybe because of Noizi Ito's design. Maybe it's loli, or perhaps due to me being so used to the game.

Ok. I'm disappointed by the first episode (and maybe the anime overall) though. Sumomo's voice is unbearable. Kisaragi-sensei's is ten times more shounen-ai. Sumomo's head is bigger than original game art (or body's smaller). And the anime studio *&#@ed up the eyes too.

Anyhow, you guys sub it well, despite the unoriginality and cheesiness of this anime.

The series is starting to get good. It's cute and I like the idea that the story doesn't involve circumstances that can lead to the end of the world. Instead, the story is about first love. And I like the idea behind the reasons for racing to collect the star drops (there's actually two big reasons for the star drops that you'll see in the series). It does initially start a little slow, but if you're willing to give it a fair chance, it starts to pick up the pace after a few episodes. In fact, I wasn't expecting certain events to occur so quickly in the series. But it's good in that it sets itself up for a possible ending that will wrap up the story nicely.

i doubted that it would happen in the anime too, but it did.

That's enough for me to list it as one of my most memorable love confessions. Alongside Niwa Daisuke and his girl Riku in DNAngel.

And seems like Sumomo's a lot more similar to Kinimoto Sakura, since the story starts off with them learning about magic through a "mascot" (Kero-chan/Yuki-chan)... and the fact that they both actually inherited their magic powers from their parents (Sakura's dad was actually a one-half reincarnation of Clow Reed, while Sumomo's mother was a mage from another world who fell in love in a normal Earthling).

Still, I have to say... a small girl like Akihime Sumomo and a tall guy like Tsuwabuki Masaharu... they're quite an interesting pair. As interesting as the protagonistic couple in Lovely Complex (another series still airing right now).

Episode 7 released late last night by our group. Also, eps 1-3 in h264 for those of you interested.

I think each of these episode continues to prove not to judge series by their first episodes. Such a cute series and I'm loving the story.

On a side note, this month's issue of NewType USA (Sept. 07 issue) has a two page article about Nanatsuiro Drops. Cute little two page spread about the series. Hmm, could this be a hint that maybe a US company might be picking up this series?

just a little comment on episode 10. the scene where Sumomo decides to use that difficult recipe to go back in time, and the uncle says to wait until the full moon, the line was missing.

If you're referring to around 9:25 in the episode, actually Sensei (can't think of his name at the moment) starts the sentence, and Yaeno finishes it.

You're probably referring to this:

Sensei: Well then, for Figurare's power to be at its fullest...
Sumomo: Yes!
Yaeno: Let's do it when the moon is full.

It's basically like if you chained lines 1 and 3 together. I can see why you might've thought that something was missing, but no that is how that dialogue is supposed to flow. Otherwise, it would sound strange, since it would seem as if Yaeno were to repeat what Sensei just said.

Love the series so far, and I have to admit that Sumomo's voice makes me melt. Dammit, I get diabeetus everytime I hear it - and I still love it. ~<3

Hmm, I'm wondering how the new heroine in the PS2 version comes into the story... And Flora is a heroine this time around.
