Not only Happy Material, if I don't remember wrong, also another song in ss1 (forget its name).
I heard from her PV on Nico Douga... And she introduced Happy Material Return too. Of course, full size, a remix of Medley version

^So it was a special version that she sang alone then...

Eh, I was hoping it was specially edited or something so I could try and see if I could pull it off with other seiyuu's voices...

So Konoka got her own version...I wonder if this means there are other independant versions...

^If there are, then I assume only the major seiyuu's have done it, if at all...

Which means I probably wouldn't see a Sakuma, Miho version... (Or a Kimura, Madoka version...)

But I'd assume if anyone else did it, then it would be Kanda, Akemi; Kobayashi, Yuu; and/or Satou, Rina...

Note--The Negima section is the only section that allows links like this. If I were to crack down on Negima DL's, A lot of people who depend on the raws would get upset....

And for that matter, if anyone has any live action OPs/EDs other than the ones listed here (Pink Generation class, Pink Generation Asuna/Konoka/Setsuna, and Tsuyoku Naare) I'd love it if you could help me out with those, too. Oh, and if anyone has any game themes that aren't Oshiete Koi no Idiom, Koi no Parade, or the one by Shizuka Itou (Misa's VA, not sure if it's supposed to be Misa singing or not. Also, I'm not sure on the title. And uhh... If anyone has them... English versions of Negima!? songs. I haven't found any mp3 rips or anything, nor do I have the DVDs to make my own yet.

That said, if anyone needs anything in the list, I do have all of it short of the live action character songs mentioned above, in addition to a few other things that I pulled out of other random places (like the full version of Yume Minnade!/Dreams Everyone!, the OP/ED for the first Ala Alba OVA, and some of the game themes). I should note, though, that some of them were downloaded as single songs, so if you're looking for drama tracks or some of the art, you may or may not be out of luck (I do have most, but not all). I don't check here all that often, but as often as I remember to, I'll swing by if anyone needs anything that someone hasn't helped them to in my absence.

EDIT: After checking out WarriorKK's awesome contribution, I've narrowed down the list of things I know I'm missing significantly. If anyone thinks they can help, they are:

Mahou Jikake wa Koi no Rival (Theme of Jikanme 2 PS2 game)
Koi no Parade - Nodoka and Yue version (alternate version of Asuna/Setsuna song from Jikanme... 3 I think? for PS2)
Themes of any other non-Jikanme PS2 games (assuming I have all of the others from the first 3, if anyone could help by listing them off or pointing me to a list)
Happy Material - Ai Nonaka version (the one mentioned above)
Happy Material - Akemi Kanda version

Also, WarriorKK, if you see this, I saw that Ala Alba drama CD, but I didn't have the post count to see the download link. Does it have any songs like the Semester/Gakki CDs from the first series or is it only drama tracks?

I realize this is technically a double post, but it's been over 42 hours since my last post and I think you'll be able to forgive me after you read this.

I managed to get out and grab thew new DVDs yesterday so today I took the liberty of ripping the English OP/ED tracks as 320kbps mp3s. I've named them by the titles given in the credits (the only note-worthy one is Eien no Toki o Koete was named "Transcending Time of Eternity" in the credits, but is translated as "Transcending Everlasting Time" in the song itself), thrown them into a single zip file, and uploaded them to MediaFire. If no one beats me to it, I'll be doing the same after March 31st for Part 2 with Love Sensation, assuming FUNi decided to redub it this time, unlike the OVA DVD.

Here's a list of the songs included:
- 1000% SPARKING! - Leah Clark, Brina Palencia & Luci Christian
- A-LY-YA! - Unknown (Caitlin Glass is supposedly one)
- Transcending Time of Eternity (Eien no Toki o Koete) - Unknown
- Starry Sky Letter (Hoshizora Reta) - Unknown

If anyone figures out who sings the other three, that'd be awesome. A YouTube user believes A-LY-YA! to be by Caitlin Glass and Cherami Leigh, but isn't 100% sure. Another user backs them up on Caitlin. Past that, no one knows for sure who the others are. 1000% SPARKING!'s singer list came from Brina's mouth herself. Unfortunately, none of these are listed in the credits for some reason. Only the original (Japanese) singers are credited.

(Oh, and Mahora Sentai Baka Rangers shows up in several episodes, of course, but with all the dialogue over it and how short the segments are, there's no good way to rip it. Sorry D:)

EDIT: Also, I found out that Ai Nonaka's solo version of Happy Material is on her "Cheer Ru-ga!" single. Also, Akemi Kanda (Asuna) has a solo version of Happy Material as well on her "Bitter Sweet Friday" album. I'll be doing my best to try and find these and I'll be sure to share with you guys, as I can see there's demand for them here.

Thanks for the Drama CD! Gotta say it's interesting to compare.

I'd say that 181 is the closest to its manga counterpart. There are several moments with visual gags, but since it was all audio, they'd have to use extra dialogue to explain it. For instance:

Anya: Listen, we're going to secretly get out of here!! There's no telling what she's going to do if we stay...Wait a minute! What's that hand doing on my forehead?

Evangeline: What is it I'm going to do, Anna Kokolova?

It also leaks into the front end of 182 for the sake of closure, plus some extra stuff to close the scene off with.

With 116-118. they jumped around a bit. Skipping stuff which wasn't directly relavant, such as Evangeline trying to reach the tournament. Albireo's dialogue was also cut short a bit. He also didn't do any transformations (Gatou, Eishun, Nekane, Anya), probably so that they could give the actor more lines. I loved how Kazumi was doing the countdown at the end.

Chapters 164+165 was awesome. They skipped that bit at the beginning where they meet the reporters and stuff. They also put the bit with Misora being ordered to clean the mess hall to a later point. Shakti's and Kokone's voice was good. I was kinda expecting Kokone's voice to be dead but not high...more low like Yue's. I thought they copped out with the "Voice Change Magic On!" bit instead of reciting an actual spell. I wasn't too crazy about Misora's voice change as welll she merely deepened her voice rather than actually changing it to another person's (probably to give Misora's actress more lines).

Also I thought the music felt off at some spots. I also noticed that they used Shaft's music as well. Overall though, the CD was a good listen.

Additionally, I know I'm missing "Koi no Parade ~Embrace Again Ver.~" and ランデブーは恋の魔力で (taking someone else's word that this romanizes as "Rendezvous Ha Koi No Maryoku De" and translates roughly to "Rendezvous are made in love magic") from game bonus discs. I'm not sure if I'm missing other game songs or not, though.

And I still need a translation, or at least romanization, for 切なくてラビリンス, the one in the YouTube link up there, if anyone has it.

Happy Material isn't surprising, now that I know about the Nonaka, Ai solo...

Believe, I guess it isn't that much of a surprise either... (I wonder if she did, or plans to do, one for Kagayaku Kimi He...)

Bakappuru is new to me considering I'd thought she would have done a trio with Nonaka, Ai and Shiraishi, Ryoko... (She did so at Daimahorasai...)

Itsudatte Love & Dream isn't a surprise since the original is actually a solo that Kanda, Akemi sings anyways...

I have the Fuwarurun and the Happiness Holy Day song... (I'll rip them from my CD if you want me to...)

The "Kirameki" song was downloadable or included in a special drama CD or something...

That version of Koi no Parade should be included in one of the OST CD's of the second season (Music Collection ~Cantus~ or something like that...) or something... (That or the same special CD that the Kirameki song was included on...)

I can't read the first kanji, but every thing else would be romanized as "nakute RABIRINSU"... (RABIRINSU probably being the word "Labyrinth"...)

It wasn't her voice but the way the editor/mixer editted/mixed the song...

Her voice sounds all wavy and such... (I don't think it was the fault of Kanda, Akemi's singing, but mainly the mixer's approach to mixing her voice into the song...)

Well, I assume they did. I couldn't find out one way or the other, but it's certainly a larger group than the other songs and I can't see why it would be anyone else.

Considering that Kagurazaka isn't featured in the same version as Miyazaki and Ayase, I'd say that the VA's had to do it original...

Do you think that they may do more versions to include all the VA's?

Make sure all the songs unzip, Power Archiver (The program I used to zip them all, and the program I use to unzip things in general...) had a weird system of adding stuff to zip files... (It'd overwrite the zip after adding new files... Kinda like a weird zip file updating system...)

And it added them REALLY quickly...

Unless Power Archiver is the best and quickest zipping file out there, then I'd make sure the other songs work...

I know the Rendevous song works because I tried it out, but I added that song first anyways, so make sure the others work...

If you run into any problems, let me know and I'll try to get them re-uploaded...

Apparently, the "Rendezvous" song I sent to Daverost and Pariah164 was not the right song... (It was the Itou, Shizuka solo... Labyrinth is in the title, but I can't remember the full title...)

I ripped, converted, and uploaded the correct Rendezvous song to both peeps...

Hopefully, Pariah164 will catch the mistake and label the Itou, Shizuka solo correctly... (Unless it's already on the list...)

I still have to do my 1000% Sparking cut together project, but that isn't on-topic with this topic...

Labyrinth of Sadness - Jikanme 3 ED?

Yeah, that one. I threw the JP title at a Romaji converter and it came out as "Setsuna Kute Labyrinth," but I don't know how accurate that is. I also can't verify the accuracy of the English translation.

That's the translated title...

But yeah, it's that song that I mislabeled as the Rendezvous song...

The Rendezvous song was the ED (I believe...) of the Dream Tactics game (While the Koi no Parade remix was the OP... Unless I got that mixed up...) and was a duet between Kanda, Akemi and Nonaka, Ai... (Kagurazaka's and Konoe's seiyuu's, respectively...)

I don't know how I got Itou, Shizuka's solo mixed up with the Rendezvous song... (Especially considering I was contemplating that the solo was the third jikanme's ED, of which the original Koi no Parade was the OP... The latter of which is on the list of this topic, or at least findable on the Internet...)

Either way, I got the correct Rendezvous song sent to Daverost and Pariah...

Speaking of which, are there any other non-LA series or non-OAD related songs I can assist with on adding to the list?

I have all the Negima songs (Except for the ones mentioned above...) except for Positive! Active! Morojibun! and Neapolitan no Sauce... (All of which I don't have because of personal choice...)

The two songs I mentioned above are okay, but I didn't get them because they talk mostly through the song rather than singing... (Of which it could have done better as a drama track than a song...)

I'm more upset at the fact that they totally screwed over Kobayashi, Misa and Aizawa, Mai with Positive! Active! Morojibun! because I know they are good singers and their duet wastes their full potential...

Neapolitan no Sauce is even more talking...

Though I commend Sawashiro, Miyuki and Saitou, Chiwa for being able to sing (And relatively well...) in their Shichimi and Motsu, respectively, voices, I'd say that it should have focused more on singing (Even if it had to be a Springfield's cousin and Kokolova duet...) than on talking...

Joker was borderline and I only included it in my CD's because the "spoken" parts were rapped and it was minimal compared to the other two songs... (Again, it was a good song and all, but I would have personally preferred them singing more often than rapping...)

The LA series songs, I didn't get since I haven't seen the LA series... (I may pick them up if I ever see the LA...)

The OAD remixes weren't worth getting, IMO, since they're just remixes of the songs...

HMReturn was borderline, but didn't make it... (If there were more solo parts for each seiyuu, then I would have probably gotten it...)

But let me stop my ranting...

Long story short, I corrected my mistake on one song and I'm open to contribute more missing songs to the music compendium...

Okay, so since I did my best to avoid watching the 2nd anime until the entire thing was out (and fansubs tanked pretty hard on that one), I wasn't aware of one I "missed."

Episode 19's double-length OP allowed for what I'm going to call the "full" version of the 1000% SPARKING! dub. It's not really full, of course, missing the rest of the song after the talking part, but it does link the two existing versions together seamlessly. I ripped it for myself, but in case someone here wants it, I uploaded it as well.

Though I think the same singers do the talking part as the singers of the sung verse dub...

It sounds like Luci Christian talks through the entire talking part (Maybe Brina Palencia does too, but it isn't in character...) by herself...

As for the singing parts, it seems like Brina Palencia has most of the solo parts for all the songs she sings in, such as 1000% Sparking and Mahora Sentai Baka Ranger!, not counting the solo songs she sings...

Maybe except for Luci Christian, I couldn't identify/hear any other singers in Mahora Sentai Baka Rangers! EXCEPT for Brina Palencia...

The only group song (Not counting Love Sensation since Laura Bailey sings it by herself, essentially...) where the solos actually seem to be evenly distributed is Al-Ly-Ya... (It's also the only group song that doesn't feature either Luci Christian or Brina Palencia, which probably is the main reason why each singer gets a good amount of solos...)

I'm not dissing on Luci Christian or Brina Palencia in any way... (Though I thought it would have been more evenly distributed, regarding solos...)

I'm surprised Colleen Clinklebeard (sp?) didn't sing in any songs...

Apparently, she was majorly involved in the import and dubbing process of the first anime... (I assume she had a similarly major part for the second season...)

Ok sure, Shiina is almost no where near as "important" or gets nearly the same amount of lines she did in the first season and I know Minamoto isn't even in the second season, but I'd thought that Colleen Clinklebeard, of all FUNi peeps, would have gotten some inclusion within the dubs...

I'm also surprised about Monica Rial not getting any inclusion either... (I mean, besides Konoe, she also voices for three other characters in the second season...)

I was surprised she wasn't one of the singers of Love Sensation... (And I was surprised that the Cherami Leigh girl got inclusion in a song whereas she's never voiced in a Negima dub prior to the second season... Maybe she was in the OAV's, but do you think they hired her just so she could sing in Al-Ly-Ya?)

^Don't answer that... (Though did they plan on replacing Dana Schultz or did she just drop out of the job before the second season?)

i know way back when negima was new and the first anime had concluded that there was a concert that the voice actors preformed. (one of the things that i remember was the Chao's VA messed up her part of the seat number song) well anyways i was wondering if someone would be kind enough to re-upload the concert so i could, once again, get my hands on it. i remember it being uploaded in Annahawkings' original music thread. also, if i may, i learned recently that another concert was held for the more recent Negima!? series if someone could point me in the right direction to find that one as well i would be appreciative....

There was one held for the first anime (Dai Mahorasai), two for the second (Magical X-Mas and Princess Festival), and one for the live action (Shibuya-AX). I think several of them are still up on Mahora Academy's forums, but other than that, I'm not sure where to point you for downloads.

Nothing much. It lacked a lot of seiyuu.
The differences were the last three performances.
- When they sang Shusseki Bangou no Uta, first person was Satou Rina, I mean, it had Negi's version. Some seiyuu sang differently.
- Ittsudatte Love and Dream, Nichiyoubi with remix version, sang by group.

As a concert maniac, the only Negima related concert (With the seiyuu's, not the LA actresses...) that featured all seiyuu's from the class was DaiMahoraSai...

No other concert before or after that has featured all seiyuu's at once...

Chao's seiyuu?

I know Rainyday's seiyuu (Inokuchi, Yuka...) messed up her part in the Shusseki Bangou no Uta in concert at DaiMahoraSai...

Yamakawa, Kotomi (Izumi's seiyuu...) messed up a little by forgetting to introduce her character before singing...

Unless you were talking about a previous concert... (But I don't remember Oosawa, Chiaki ever messing up her part in the Shusseki Bangou no Uta...)

Shirashi, Ryoko has forgotten her part in one of the earlier concerts and impressively made up lyrics saying that she was sorry that she forgot her lines... (For forgetting and being able to make up lyrics that fit well right on the spot was pretty awesome IMO... Of course, the crowd went wild after she made up the lyrics...)

Otherwise, every seiyuu has at least attended two of the concerts... (Shiratori, Yuri having the least amount of appearances in all concerts put together...)

For the Gakki concerts, if a seiyuu didn't attend one, then they attended the other...

Don't forget the concert that really wasn't a concert...

It was the announcement of the seiyuu's for the first season... (A few seiyuu weren't there, but most of them were...)

It was the concert that also featured short interviews from all the seiyuu at some sort of picture taking event... (They even interviewed Inoue, Kikuko, who was set to voice for Minamoto...)

Otherwise, I kinda want to see the "concerts" that happened a little after the LA series concerts... (But I don't think they sang...)

That's another mess up that did happen in the same concert...

When Asakura (Back then, Yamamoto...), Azumi introduced herself and the character she voiced for, she said "Shusseki Bangou 5-ban" (AKA Student number 5...) instead of "6-ban" (Student number 6...) for Ookouchi...

I remember that the bar underneath spelling out her name and character's name had "5" written in red to show that she made the mistake...

She gets embarrassed afterwards when Yamakawa, Kotomi introduces herself and her character...

Then at the very end, Asakura, Azumi apologizes for using the wrong number...

But Shiraishi, Ryoko makes up the lyrics to her part in the "Shusseki Bangou no Uta" during her part and even fits in an apology (While sticking to the song's beat...) while she sings it... (Which is pretty impressive IMO...)

I'm still hoping they'll have an official "DaiMahoraSai"-like concert for the second season considering there were a lot of songs unsung in a concert...

Joker, Egao no Hana, the Rendezvous song, and Yell are all songs I'd love to hear in concert... (Especially Joker...)
