Most of us have them, We all want at least one. but we all buy them for the purpose of showing off, which only happens on the rare occasions when someone is brave engouch to come to your place.

So show us; what do you have in your room and/or what you've bought.? And for those others, show us what you plan to get one day.

I'll post mine once i get some proper pictures taken.

Edit:

Got the pictures: for only all my big ones, i have a glass cabniet for them, saves on dusting time.

If I can overcome my cheapskate-ness and give myself enough incentive to import a figurine, I would definitely get a Rainyday Figumate...

But until then, I'll remain figurine-less...

I've just got Negima figumates.
They're sort of all around my computer desk at home (in the main room) 15 of them.
My daughter likes to play with them also ... but she knows ... they are MINE! biggrin.gif
One I don't have that I'd like to get is Sechan.
If I ever found any good Haruhi figurines I'd prolly get them also.
Kinokuniya is the only shop I've even found that has anything like that, but they usually don't have anything I'd like.
I guess that Manga/Anime meet at UNSW a while ago would have had some of that sort of stuff also (but I couldn't go sad.gif)
I guess I should ask - anyone know exactly the name of any shops in Sydney that sell this sort of stuff?
I remember asking this question here years? ago but never found any shops.

only place in australia that i know of that has anything is tamarket ( www.tamarket.com.au )

they set up their online thing recently, prior to that it was a method of meeting them at convnetions. In brisbane, its becoming disturbingly easy to aquire figurines, for example; a Mr. Toys world in the city has them on sale in one corner of the shop, i can mainly get toheart and toheart2 and Various other shows (mind the shotty phonecamera work)

Yay, I don't watch much anime anymore, but weekly trips to Denden town make buying figures all too appealing. Anyways, my latest acquisition and the most ive spent on a figure in a long time (5040 yen, or $46-47 or so):
https://www.robby.jp/images/shop20/20109409.jpg

Once I take pics of my current figures, ill post them up, but Im really happy to post up that one. Granted, its not MY picture, but i dont have internet at my house and limited battery, so spending my limited time uploading photos is not fun, lol.

Nighthawk - Those Nanoha and Fate ones are the same ones I used to have, both are really really awesome. That Nayuki figure in pic 1 is really awesome, too. Thanks for posting!

Heh - one character on each shelf of my 6 favourite characters of all time:

1) Belldandy (used to be 5 - I've just added her this week - hopefully she'll stay)
2) Yuki (I'd so be amused if someone had this version of her)
3) Shipon (she's the reason I got interested in anime)
4) Sabre (that is Sabre? hard to see, but the hair says it must be)

Only missing 2 of my favs smile.gif Nodoka and Mutsumi smile.gif
Of all that list I only have a Nodoka Figumate sad.gif

... nice to see 4 of the other 5 there biggrin.gif

I've got Dark Saber eating a burger, Tama-nee on the beach, Haruhi in school uniform, Haruhi in bunnysuit (you know the one that Konoka has? I have it), Saber in her normal clothes from F:HA and also a girl from a hentai game that I thought just looked so cool. I didn't even know she was, I just thought she was cool looking.

All of mine are still in their boxes, I haven't taken any of them out. Simply because I don't have a proper place to put them.

Edit: I'll post pictures when I get ahold of my dad's digital camera.

I have a figurine of Chii in her maid outfit, but I can't find it.

I've got 3 Negima! Figumates and 3 IchiMashi figurines. Ayaka, Chachamaru (Maid), and Konoka (Kimono). The Ayaka and Kono-chwan ones are from my Grandparents, Chacha I got for my 15th B-day.

My IchiMashi figurines are Miu, Matsuri and Ana-chan.

Actualy, they are selling some Haruhi figures on sale at Kinokuniya (Sydney) at the moment (right corner near the sealed exit).
Haruhi in the bunny suit, and a few others (I think some of them were Tsuruya) ... no Yuki sad.gif

Time i dug this topic back from the grave.

Yeah, i bought some more things recently, just ive been a tad too sick to post the pictures.

so this is my Supanova 2009 haul, im now moving in to figmas now that my cabniet has run out of space for conventional 1/8th scales.

the one new figurine i got here is Akiha Tohno, i would've probably gotten Hisui had i been faster on the trigger, but i can still look for her the the old fashion way

anyone else who has bought new stuff, or just saw something they want to get, post away.

My Yami-chan (TL-r) from GSC is on it's way. Actually, appearently they tried to deliver today but there wasn't no one at home! Anyway from reviews I saw it seems as good as I expected.

Now I'm eager waiting for the new Fate from Alter. I'm surely going to buy it even if it going to hurt my wallet badly... Fatina from Alter and Black Rock Shooter form GSC looks amazing too.

I got my Mode Lock Arbalest and finally put it together yesterday. It is a decent kit overall as long as you don't expect too much from it. It is good for novice builders or someone who just wants a small kit to have.

I’ve actually opened them all once. But for the moment, I have nowhere to place them, so they are staying in their boxes.

i actually do keep the boxes to all my figurines, packed in a tight space in my closet that only 15+ years of playing Tetris could accomplish.

Like the figurmates i have and use for the web show NGC, I have a similar, though less complex plan for the figmas.

So does she use saber to go Excalibur on her other toys? tongue.gif

somehow the sutble irony of playing with saber instead of barbie i find funny.

but on a serious note: you must have alot of trust in her since these are rather hard to replace. the majority of my figurines are non-motiving models and as such i dont even let visitors touch them, the investment of a glass cabniet has put to home the importance to everyone...and already ive had more than my fair share of close calls.

xmas 2007, I was evicted from my room and 3 female cousins slept in there. apart from the minibar of booze I had at the time, my cabinet and smaller figurines were at the mercy of them. Fortunately they proved not really interested, and never touched my collection.

Then I had a cousin tried chucking a rock at the cabinet July last year. I stopped the rock with a lucky catch (with my body >_>). The aunt then was FINALLY convinced that she was trying to destroy my property.

Hmm - common social bias you have been assimilated into smile.gif

Unless your sexual interest is male instead of female, being called gay is meaningless dry.gif
Again, a knife is required long before being correctly labelled as a girl instead of a boy ...
And yet, I can't see anyone using the same words to apply to someone playing something like Warhammer (the real version - not the PC version)
I guess you could more correctly use words like pansy or girly but again it would depend on how you are playing not the fact that you are playing with them smile.gif ... though even I do tend to steer my son away from playing 'girly' games ... (though it's rare)

You could look at it this way ... are your interests male characters or female characters biggrin.gif
I usually prefer anime with female characters as the leads ...

As for NightHawk Imac 1.0 ... wow sounds like you have a war going on there against your relations ...
I think I'm not excessively concerned about the figurines though I do tell my kids that if they damage them ... I will not be happy ... ... ... Figumate Kazumi is still missing her right arm that kept falling off ... ... though I think I know what I need to pull apart to find it inside of ...

If it makes you feel any better, think of it this way. Barbie’s cannot be used for things like doing the caramelldansen amass, skit drama i find funny, openly mocking OP sequences and things I cant even describe

The difference people we need to remember is that Barbie is a toy designed to teach girls the virtues of cooking, cleaning and marrying/divorcing 8 times a day in accordance to what they learn from daytime soaps.

While figmas like Saber, Nanoha, yuki and the rest teach you the virtues of blowing things up amass.
