I'm a new member here but i have been lurking around for quite a while.
I figured that i will be singning up sooner or later, so why don't i do it now.
I'm bad in introducing myself, so i decided to answer your question rather than giving information that might bored you all to the death. there might be question that i will not answer or i didn't know the answer myself (even about myself).

i'm not really into anime but i have watched a small number such as Lucky Star and FMP to name a few.

i'm more into manga and have read quite a lot of title but i don't think it's comparable to a lot of you guys here. a few of the current series that i have been following are Negima, One Piece and Cross Game (please don't bash my taste but if you have other manga to recommand to me, i will appreciate it).

by the way, what is 4ch, /b/ and ADHD? i'm quite at loss with a lot off abbreviation in this forums and others as well. but this is about the third forum that i register and post in, so i cannot complain.

ADHD = Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (wiki it)

as for the other 2, if you don't know, then for your own sake YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW

thanks for the clarification. i know about ADD but seems to have missed the 'H' part somewhere. i will go to the BSL sometimes.

I have read somewhere that if i don't post something for certain amount of days, the account will be revoked. does that still stand true or have misread that completely?

Really? Anyone else wanna expand on that?
Maybe that's another new rule to go with the 1 month wait?
I guess it's just at the beginning for a while if you don't use the account much once it's created?

Of course, we'd like a quite and spam free community, and the less posts the less chance of spam, but we'd still enjoy a pretty active and healthy community and by no means NOT posting is a crime, although there are some clean ups at different time of the year which include delete/merge/close threads as well as delete/suspend account but those accounts are like 2-3 years of inactivity and the last one that was made was quite a few years ago. Now with validation requirements is no need to delete unused accounts (for now).

i like negima...and im a freak manga/anime person...i should have a badge =P but i dont watch one piece...it looked good but i just never had the time to watch everything....i like doing all the episodes quickly and like at once so i dont like the waiting thingy...

and i heard of cross game but i never really read it...not really my type i guess...sports things i dont like much =P i play sports...i don wana read about it lol...

i know that post here and in BSL don't count. its more like an added bonus to me because, for unknown reason, i like my post count to be low.

if i don't like negima, i wouldn't be here, so no suprise there. as for one piece, i decided to pick one of the big 3 (from onemanga's nickname for them) and i like OP much more then the other two. for cross game, i like Adachi's work in general. i didn't read it for the sport but just for the entertainment value its give.

there are others, finished or still ongoing, that read but it will take too long for me to dig it up (i might have forgotten some of them anyway).

lol well i got around 58 mangas im still reading...around 60 done series....and i got more than 120 to go =P lolz....but personally for me i love the one shots the most....they should make more but the drawings and the story and everything that is in some of them make them the best...

58 series is quite a number T.U.M. i don't think i can keep up with that every week.

@ BlueDo : Actually, i have past the single digit mark. barely so for anime but for manga, i think its closer to hundred series that i have finished.

actually its surprising how easy it is to keep up with if you cut back on sleeping time...and you think thats a lot? i got over 200 series of anime watched and currently watching 18 stalled around 20 and still have 125 to watch....(on another site not the one with my sig =P there were series the other site had that this one didnt)

i have a few question about image posting.
- what is the policy regarding image posting in this board? do i need to upload the image somewhere else and linking it here or there are other ways of doing it?

- if i need to upload it elsewhere, is there any specific or recommended website to be used?

forgive me if the issue has been pointed out elsewhere. i seem to have read about it somewhere before but unable to find it right now.

@maelstorm I'm pretty sure that you have to use photobucket or another such site to post pics. For the most part you should use links for large/ecchi pics. Although like shao you can also post more directly if it's non-ecchi and not too big.

Hope that helps you out some.

like i said...i think im semi insomniac...cause i just cant sleep much...anything over 6 hours and i get sleepy wereas less im more active and awake...plus i just cant do it...lolz


@ mael...i use photobucket.com for pics...flash and stuff i use for something else...

if you mean sigs...try not to big...file size and height and width...

sigs must be linked to a site...i.e. somewere you got it or a image hoster (like photobucket)

avatar can be linked or uploaded...

Go to imageshack, and upload an image file.
After it's done, you should be provided with lots of links.
Just copy and paste onto your sig.
The URL for avy is different, but is also provided.
