is anyone else getting giant elongated spaces under everybody's signatures?

Yes, it's been discussed somewhat in the RAW section of all places. It seems to only be happening to those useing I.E 7.

translation: throw IE away and use firefox tongue.gif

Well, FF has annoying scroll bars, while IE has this annoying, desolate space..

Its actually driving me a bit crazy... It makes me remeber of a forum...

Note 1- If there is anyone to blame for the scrolling sigs, blame the people who have the way too big sigs. It is either that or an edited sig from the mods. Erizo made it easier for us Mods by bringing the scrolls in.

Note 2- Unfortunately, right now, the only thing wrong with that is that IE doesn't like the scrolls for some reason. Erizo did mention that if there was an issue with IE, to let him know. So, PM him.

actually, the scroll bars in FF also depends on your screen reso.
i mean, here at home my reso is 1280x1024
some sigs needs a scroll bar

while at work i use a widescreen one (dunno the reso for now) some of those wider sigs don't have a scroll bar.

and lastly, on a 800x600 computer at out office, even my sig needs a scroll bar...

I wish Chrome would get more mature; it doesn't have these crappy problems, and it's nice and lightweight. I just need FF-esque addons...

Chrome has the scroll, all browser will have the scrolls as long as the user is using more space than the size limit, Except Internet Explorer.

I can make it so the forums AUTOMATICALLY re sizes all your signatures and makes them blury and smaller without consulting you. I thought I'd be nice and let you all at least keep your signatures the way it was meant to be seen without compromising us all by putting everything you think it's cool about life in your signature.

When I mentioned the crappy problems, I meant the strange spaces.

*raises arm*
question: Is the spoiler tag designed so that when it is opened and clicked anywhere within the spoiler area it will close?

Yes and it can't be modified.

I... just like to point out that...
clicking on a link inside a spoiler will cause it to close... which is kinda annoying (IMO)...

It's a work-around ... but it works ... unless you've got a Mac ... smile.gif
