 MKV 5.1 audio, How the hell can you get it to work?

OK, got sick of trying all the solutions on the net. None have solved the problem.

I've got:

Logitech X-530 speakers
Realtek Audio Manager
I usually use KLITE Full Codec Pack and Media Player Classic.

This is the other audio options I think that are affecting it:

What exact settings do I need to set so I can get 5.1 sound out of the speakers? I can get 5.1 for everything else except when I play mkv's This is driving me insane.

Can't help you out. I don't have 5.1, I use CCCP+MPC. Good luck though. Maybe someone in #CCCP can help even though you're not using it.

Weird, I have the exact same configuration as yours.(Even with the exact same speakers)

What type of computer do you have?(And what OS are you using right now...?

It's a custom built Intel Core2 Duo 2.66Ghz 2GB running Vista Home Premium.
