Just watched the sub - ah how I miss this show as a weekly.
Sometimes it's just, like ... OMFG the dialogue is just so ... funny, well written, bizarre, great.

I haven't watched it yet (don't do raws) but sankaku was happy to highlight something. I ask thee - is that really Shinobu's choice of underwear?

And I guess Araragi's gotten thoroughly masticated again.

I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my chest when I watched this episode (No, not because a chunk of it were ads.), especially where Hanekawa was smiling then bursting into tears, I really feel sorry for her.

So, Araragi got beaten to a bloody mess again, great. (He looks like Nozomu Itoshiki in this ep.)

I guess adhesive bandages are standard loli accessory. Shinobu looks really awesome in this ep starting from her entrance up to her exit, her popping out of the shadow reminded me of another loli vampire, Eva.

Well this episode is good but felt kinda incomplete.

If you got the pem version, yes it is incomplete.
They have chopped it up into 5 pieces and trolling it out slowly.
There doesn't seem to be a complete release by any group yet.
I'll wait for a release from a non-troll group (as I've already stated elsewhere)

Nah, I watched the raws , since I'm a very impatient man, it just felt incomplete. (That's just me I guess, maybe I'm being too demanding.)

^ You too SM? I guess I'm not alone. Yeah it felt lacking to me too, and yes Hanekawa's treatment should be better than this.

Another anime season passes and I'm still playing catchup.

I must be the only one that does not feel it was lacking. I know there were cuts (they were very verbose and thick 'light novels'). But at its heart the Bakemonogatari anime is very simple. You could summarise an episode in detail with a few sentences.

I don't think I could adequately describe the series in a few sentences. I loved it, it is my favourite anime of 2009 (and technically 2010 with what I've been watching). I'm looking forward to more even if the 'next stuff' are mostly prequel stories.

All the character songs were very well written. They're certainly in character and skilled VAs sealed the deal. Suger Sweet Nightmare makes it to #3 on my favourite Bakemonogatari songs list. Piano version of it was all pretty damn good. When oh when will they release the official piano music? T_T

thinking on it, I have to agree. I don't think I've enjoyed any other series as much or consistently as Bakemonogatari.

The News is in a place you probably won't want to go. But Kizumonogatari - the story of Koyomi Araragi meeting a masticated vampire then subsequently being masticated by successive Vampire Hunters - is in the works.

Now that is something I'll look forward to

Ah yes, they finally confirmed it, I've been wanting to see it since the op of the first ep.

Baka Tsuki is down ATM, but according to Wikipedia, there are thirteen [13] light Novels.
So that means 10 anime's will be produced eventually, Bake- & Nise- have already been animated, and eventually Kizu- too.

As for how shaft will combat series fatigue... well let's let them tackle that...

Upon checking - Bakemonogatari (Anime) covered two volumes. So maybe 4-9 series/movies.
