Nice, bro. Speaking of local comic shops, this one place is selling a wonder-con exclusive Sinestro white lantern and Hal Jordan black lantern action figure. The price for the set is $150 not including tax. I can afford to buy it, but is it a good buy?

peter parker dying was in Marvel ULTIMATES. which is set in a different universe.
Peter Parker is still alive in the main stream continuity.

I kinda grew fond of ultimate parker, though.

Don't forget the new 52 DC number ones that are coming out right now. So far I picked up Detective comics Batman and Superman, New Justice League, and my favorite...Batgirl number 1.



I am so glad detective comics decided to let Barbara Gordon walk again post killing joke. The Oracle thing just doesn't fit her. Plus she's too hot to be stuck on a wheelchair all day. My second favorite DC female.

Well it was pretty ok. Jason Todd is one of my favorite characters of the DC universe and it was a nice change of pace to not see him as a recurring Batman villain. The first half of the comic was pretty good. Red Hood breaking out Arsenal from prison was very entertaining. Then the other half focused on Starfire's T and A.



Not that there's anything wrong, but could of at least explain their purpose of forming a team in the first place. It looks like more will be explained in the next issue. Anyways, I love the art and the writing is pretty decent...so I'll give it another go for the next issue. Still not sure about Starfire, though. Will wait and see.

Well, most reviewers call it along with catwoman to be cheesecake borderline softcore pr0n. then again, they might have never read certain mangas...

The fans of the anime inspired teen titans are the majority of the people raging anyways. Maybe DC should give them this.

Also, my comic shop had an early Thanksgiving sale. 40 to 50% off everything. My wallet survived.....barely. Can't resist those black and white Batman statues. >__<

Hmm...my comic book store has Amazing Spiderman #129. The first appearance of the Punisher. The comic grade is 5.5 and the owner is selling it for $150 dollars. Not sure if I want. Very tempting, but the creases on the corners are killing me. >___<

Can't speak for Dennis, but I mostly lurk atforum.onemanga.com where I go by the same name. If I'm not there I'm either at tvtropes or occasionally youtube.

Though I've been thinking about joining animesuki since negima ended.

I'll keep those places in mind should this forum cease to exist.

Oh and there are some midnight screenings of the avengers with some movie theaters participating in giving away free posters. I might go, but I doubt it since I have places to go in the morning. >__<

I do at least check the forums regularly, I just don't always post. I can also be found on animesuki, same info, primarily in the queens blade rebellion thread and also in our irc chat.

Wow I forgot all about animesuki. Also I use an apple computer right now and I haven't found an IRC chat program that's newbie friendly.

It was crazy, but I had a lot of fun.

I did well for free comic book day, I got all the titles I wanted and picked up a Gunpla model since the store put 15% off coupons in the bags with the books.

Just got back from watching the Batman Trilogy on imax.

It was insane!!!

Oh and I got free posters and stuff.
