Not surprised that they'd use new material--heck, I was surprised when I found out the two episodes of Gundam Unicorn already covered the better part of four-five of the novels (Or so I'm told).

Just how big are light novels in Japan, anyway? I might be that a sequence in the novel that takes five pages is barely half a minute if animated.

Well the ones I've seen (and have) have been between from about 100 to 200 pages ...

Well, I was kinda slow since I started lurking there a bit late into Kara no Kyoukai, but confirmation that Ufotable is populated by Type-Moon fanboys means great things in store.

Something I had already known was that Kajiura Yuki became a fangirl after reading Kara no Kyoukai. A few days ago I found out Yuki is working on Fate/Zero.
