She Found Out

POV: Jeff

When I come home that day, I saw Ingrid sitting in the Lazy Boy chair mad.

“Hi, sweets.” I say.

“”Where have you been? I’ve been waiting here.”

“Out.”

“Out where?” She asked me while wondering.

“You know with the boys.”

“You’re lying.” Oh no, she found out about the letter.

“Why did I find this note in your jeans then?” She shows me the note.

“I don’t know. How did you find it?” Suddenly, I started to realize that she might leave me and keep Ella.

Why did I do it? Did Kristina have to do that now? Oh right, she wanted to rekindle what we lost in high school. Now, I’m the one in trouble?

“Well, during laundry time. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? You thought you could cheat on me with your ex!!??? Well, that won’t happen again? Will it?”

“I…am so sorry. Please forgive me! I won’t do anything like this anymore. You mean more to me than her. We have a kid together and a special connection.”

“I don’t know….” Oh no…my worst nightmare has come true. Don’t leave me!!!

“How would you feel if I went behind your back and cheated on you??? That’s how I feel. I can’t see you now, I need some time alone.” She then continued.

“Sure.” I said.
