Theres a story that says they are looking into Steve Finley (I guess they like old players). Preferably 2 good hitters with some power to hit behind Barry seems like it should be in order (for insurance and an extra chance). 232 walks says almost as much about the weakness of the guys hitting behind Barry as it does about his strength. If they don't then they are letting arguably the most awesome slugger ever go to waste. Babe Ruth is about the only guy that is comparable. What about Delgado? Delgado and Finley behind Bonds could be a pretty potent 3, 4 and 5.

ya, that could ork, especially since bonds doesnt have too many years left, whereas delgado and finley have about 5 years eachleft in them. but ive heard about finley and especially delgado about going to seattle to give them some power.
