Nearra walks around the forest, trying to get her mind off her cold.

Nessa is walking down a path, trying to clear her head. Living in the Firenation was hard to get used to. After awhile she turned off the path and walked inbetween the trees. She heard footsteps ahead and froze. There were people out to kill her, and whoever it was could be an assasin.

Nearra heard some footsteps and let out a sneeze. "Darn. I hate colds." Nearra muttered.

Nessa heard someone sneeze. "Nearra? Is that you?"

Nearra sniffed. "Yeah, is that you Nessa?" She called out, trying not to sneeze again.

"Yes, it's me. Nessa walked over to Nearra. "Why are you in the woods this late? I thought I'd be the only one on this path...."

"I'm trying to get my mind off this cold. But it's not working very well. And besides, I don't have anyplace to stay right now." Nearra told her.

"No place to stay? I wish I could say the same" Nessa sighs. I've been living in the Firenation, not exactly an easy place to get used to...

Nearra nods. "I know what that feels like." Nearra remembers all to clearly when she left the Fire Nation.

"So you've been there? I just moved there from somewhere distant, it's really weird....

"Yeah, I was born in the Fire Nation." Nearra says, sneezing again.

"I wish I was" She said laughing. "It would make my life easier"

Nearra looked at Nessa quizingly. "You weren't born in the Fire Nation?" She asked.

"I was, but when I moved I still to young to remember anything...

Nearra nodds. "Oh. I left when my mother died."

"My mom isn't dead, but I never see her. She only sends me letters once every year...

Nearra nodds again and finally puts her bag down on the ground.

Nesaa sits under a tree. "So, how have you been lately?"

"Oh, just great! Nearra says sarcastically. "I really need to choose a side in this war, both sides think I'm on the opposite one."

"You know, I feel the same way... Nessa said with a sigh.

Nearra sits down. "Sometimes I wish the Avatar never dissappeared. And that the war was never started."

"I could care less." She walks over to a tree and sets it on fire

Nearra watches the flames eat up the tree. Suddenly, she hears a twig snap in the bushes.

She stops burning the tree and turns. Who could that possibly be? She thought. If it's a firebender, I'm safe.....

Nearra stands up. Who's there? If it's someone from the Fire Nation, they'll surely capture me...

Nessa gets in her bending stance. Who's there?

Nearra also gets into a bending stance. Narrowing her eyes, she sees some Earthbenders come out, and some Firebenders from the other side.

What the heck do you want? Nessa puts a fire sheild up briefly, and then makes it explode. RUN NEARRA!

Nearra's eyes widened. She hesetated for a moment, then ran.

Soon the two girls reach a waterfall. What was that about? Was anyone following you? Nessa glances at Nearra.

Nearra looks at Nessa. "I didn't think anyone was following me. I usually have good hearing to..."

Alright then, if you're sure... Then who are they? Nessa asked is a nervous tone.

Nearra bites her lower lip, trying to think. "I'm not sure, I do have more Fire Nation people after me, since I ran away from the army and knew some of their battle plans."

Nessa sits down with her back against a tree. She slowly takes a map out of her bag. Okay, so we are here, Nessa said pointing to a small forest on the map, and we need to be here. She said pointing to a town about 3 miles away. What do you think?
Nessa inquired.

Nearra sighed. She didn't really want to be at a town or village right now, unless it was Tu Xia Jiang. "I'm not sure." Nearra looked up at the sky, it was getting darker with each passing minute, which meant she wasn't as powerful now with her bending.

Nessa notices the sun setting. We better hope no one finds us, we won't be able to bend... Nessa sighs. I think we'll have to spend the night here...

Nearra sighs again and flops to the ground. "Perfect." She grabs her bag and takes out some bread and a water skin. Nearra offers some to Nessa.

Thanks Nearra She said taking a piece of the bread. Nessa sets up two mats and lays blankets on them. Okay, I guess this will have to do...

Nearra nods and takes a bite of bread. She layed down on a mat, but doesn't close her eyes.

Is something wrong, Nearra? Nessa whispered.
