*Kes pulls her hand back as she's burnt, but doesn't let out a cry of pain*

Lara walked through Garuki's camp, carrying an oiled parchment in her hands. She hoped this would be worth it. The map revealed the location of a secret rebel village the Fire Nation had been trying to find for months. If the town didn't get her message, well, Lara didn't want to think about it.The only reason she was doing this was because she needed to get inside the camp. Kes had gone missing, and she needed to know if kes was there. If she could pass by the guards, and Garuki, she would never need the map, but it was a good backup, just in case. A guard passed by, and Lara pressed herself into a corner. the guard passed by without a glance. Lara walked down the hallway, coming to a locked door. She could hear voices. One of them was a guards, another was... Lara pressed her ear closer... it was Kes's voice. Lara's eyes widened, and she involuntarily gasped. Her guess had been correct. All of a sudden the voices stopped. Lara readied herself to run.

*laughs at Kes and takes a step closer to the bars - and she takes an involentary step backwards*

That my dear, is excatly what I'm counting on. It seems the rebels don't have a true leader.

You are what we call a distraction. Having you hear will lure your prescious Vladimir here, leaving the rebels open to attack.

Lara relaxed and almost sighed with relief. She wanted to hear as much as she could. Luckily, they hadn't heard her yet.

*Kes's eyes widen and she looks very frieghtened. She knows that he would come for her, and that there would be some type of trap. But she had assumed up till now it was just a trap to get her and Vlad. Not the rebels*

*she thinks* There are more rebels then you realize, lossing Vlad isn't going to hurt them. They will still be enough of a match for you.

*walks into the room lara is in* oh my what do we have here a spy. your going to learn first hand how the fire nation handles spies...we can be quite cruel :evilsmile:

*laughs again at Kes*

Oh I am well aware of thier strenghts, and don't you worry. There are other distractions planed that will ensure our victory.

"Excuse me, I am not a spy, I was looking for Garuki and I heard him in there. I was waiting for him to come out."

Lara looked in the pockets of her black pants, then remembered where she had put the parchment, and she pulled the folded parchment out of a small pocket in her blood red tanktop.

"I need to give this to Garuki."

*shutters at Garuki's laughter and takes another step back trying to think of everything she knows about the rebels, which isn't much.*

*she silently curses and praises Vlad for not telling her anything to keep her from being a target* *mumbles* but I'm still a target.

*sighing she thinks again she only knows the names of three other rebels and wonders if Garuki has anything planed for them as well*

*smirks* you could have delivered that message to anyone at the camp and it would have made its way straight to Garuki, and a messenger doesnt normally stick there ear to the door to spy on his interrogations :evilsmile: now come with me.. you can go the easy way or the hard way but either way your going to prison. we cant have you revealing what you may have heard. :evilsmile:

*He continues to laugh at the look of uncertinty and fear that plays across Kes's face*

Lara stuck out her chin stubbornly. She really didn't want to make a nuisence of herself. She hated making trouble.

*she raps her arms around her self and backs into the corner of the cell*

She is claiming to be a messenger commander, but she seems to like listening in on your interrogation.

*slumps onto the floor and tries to think of a way out of this perdicament*

Why was I stupid enough to trust Iris *sighs and wraps her arms around her legs* No time to think of that now, I have to get out of here and warn them.

*she searches the cell for something to help her and finds nothing. Finally she curls up in the correr and lays her head on her knees*

Lara unfolded the parchment and handed it to Garuki.

"Here you go, Commander."

*raises an eyebrow* A messenger?
