Yuyan walked slowly into the gate-less entrance of the city. Just a step, and everything changed. Within that step, the bright sky turned gloom. The sun's rays seemed to vanish and in its vast place shrouded the dark clouds. Wind blew hard against him as he walked in.

Tall clean walls outside would have deceived anyone. The insides of the walls held innumerable amounts of grafittis, with broken earth and life-less trees, making the whole place look like a dead-man's plain. As he stood there, with his real bow and a quiver-stuffed of arrows, many hard metals, he couldn't help but make sarcastic remarks.

"Bleh, this place is stuffed with gold" He said sarcastically, his face with the characteristic Yuyan Archer eye paint, and clothing, which covered his skin with black tight clothing and a combination of dark red and dark green as his t-shirt and long loose pants.

"Yes, it's simply bursting with it."

Yi walked beside Yu, also in her customary YuYan Archer unifrom and face paint. Her dark brown hair was tied back in a ponytail. With her face paint and slightly baggy uniform on, she looked enough like Yu to confuse almost anyone, except for the fact that she was a couple inches shorter and much slimmer (No, I'm not calling you fat.). Her nose wrinkled at the foul smell that rose from the brimming trash bins and fogged the air with it's stench.

"Where do we start?"

"I guess the agency first. Or wherever they call is our starting point." He said, walking towards to the directions that he was given. Him and Yi were stared at, with the people looking spinning knives and held various odd weapons. Many also sported odd asthetics on them. It seemed as though tattoos were the norm here, along with piercings and ripped clothing.

"Well I guess we should be a little bit more alert than normal here." He said silently to Yi, in the corner of his eye catching a person aiming a spitball at his head. He tilted his head slightly to the left to avoid it, looking coolly at him while walking forward to the agency or sort.

"Mmmm. I agree."

Titlting slightly to the right, Yi raised her hand and plucked a wooden spoon out of the air, and tucked it into her pocket.

"Definately extra alert. I've had a lot of things thrown at me, but never a wooden spoon."

Yuyan walked down deep within the city until he finally came to the agency place. On top had the sign "Police" yet it was violently crossed out and in its place stood the word "Crime and More Crime!" along with various offensive grafittis and derogatory comments about the police.

"Well we're gonna go in there first and get what we need about our lead. Then we go into action." He said, avoiding the signs to keep his eyes from burning from the words.

Yi followed Yu, her hands clutching her bow tightly to keep from burning the sign to a crisp.

"Mr. Flotre, that's the head of the police right? He's gotta be one brave guy, so be able to withstand all this."

Yi whistle softly in appreciation.

"Yep, seems so" Yuyan said looking down at the note and seeing the name.

The building was locked up in all ways. The door was made of hard earth and the windows sealed tightly with earth as well.

Yuyan knocked on the door and he heard a walk come out immediately as the door opened with earthbending.

A plum man of about 40's opened the door to invite them in. "Please come in please." He said earnestly, sweating profusely.

He let Yi walked in first, while he followed suit and as the door shut itself, a dagger pinned itself at the door where his head was once at...

There was no doubt about it; the whole place was a dump.
Decrepit buildings stood sideways, tilting towards the crunchy brown lawn upon the ground beneath them. Even the air was filthy, for every time Aimee took a gulp of air she would cough continuously.

With a small sigh, and a look to her surroundings she became ware. This was certainly not the place to loose her cool, or pick fights. It seemed as though any goodness stayed away. Even the suns rays did not care to kiss the parched lips of this city.

“Perfect place for me.” She said with a slight malevolent grin, turning her appearance as a beautiful innocent young woman to the dust that settled around the area.

Slowly Aimee began to walk, making certain that her broadswords were in the safe grasp of her utility belt. Yes, this place was not the place to be dangerous, but that didn’t mean that she herself was to be reckoned with either. As she walked deeper into the city it become if possible, more dank and dark. The cold threatened to freeze Aimee as she looked around for the person she was looking for.

This person went by the name of Dai Swai, a spy for Aimee and the Watertribe. Such a shifty character could not easily be trusted and Aimee knew this. She knew very well that the man had been relaying ploy information Aimee had given him to the Firenation. Oh how she knew. Her lips curled into a scowl. Interogations were such a stupid hassle that rarely worked, but she needed information. She would get her information.

With cool eyes Aimee found the place she was looking for, Lane 223 of Yin Street. A slight cough emanated around as she knocked on the door, sending trails of dust into the air. The door shook and a croaky voice whispered, “Who casts their presence upon my property?” Aimee rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her hips with a sneer.

“You know very well who it is Dai Swai.” She replied in annoyance.

The man recognized her voice, and opened the door a few more inches so Aimee could see his gnarled fingertips unlock the many locks to the front door. With an impatient sigh, she was let into the house. Turning around swiftly her eyes met his, and as though he knew what was coming from her cool demeanor, he shouted and blasted some fire at her which she hastily dodged.

Flames illuminated her angry face as she sent 4 spikes of water at the man, pinning him to the door unable to bend.

“I’m not going to hurt you.” Aimee said with truth as she eyed the now scared man.

“I just would care for a few answers!”

Dai Swai whimpered as she came nearer, and Aimee scowled. Quickly she un-clicked her broadswords off her belt and threw them to the side showing that she had no intentions of any fowl-play.


The cold look she gave him was enough to make him realize she meant business.

“Spies have reported that you, my good man, have been relaying information to the Firelord of the Watertribe’s plans.”

Dai Swai tensed a little, then relaxed. The girl was a fool if she had not realized he was a spy, always had been. A slight grin spread across his face, but it was cut off by his cry as in ice spike came close to hitting him.

“But you already knew that didn’t you? You’ve known it all along and so have I.” Aimee said, her eyes narrowed and her teeth gritted in anger.

His stomach dropped and he sputtered. “ I have always been loyal to the-“
“We aren’t fools, and we aren’t going to play games with the likes of you.” She exclaimed, seething with fury advancing upon him menacingly. The fire flamed behind her, making her look mutinous.

Dai Swai shivered, now afraid. He’d never seen so much anger and evil in such a young person before. He was going to die, and he knew it.

“Nnn-no.. P..please.. have mercy!”Aimee stiffened as she felt herself twitch in remorse, though her face did not show any.

“Well just let it be known that you will not be spying for the Watertribe, or any other nation for that matter!” Aimee growled as she swiped her hands, knocking the screaming man into the opposite wall unconscious. She stood that way, her body shaking with silent anger. Not caring to look back she walked over to the fire and putt it out. Clipping in her broadswords and gathering her water. Then turning on her heal she walked out the door, still angered and confused. Why couldn’t she kill him? She should have killed him...

Her thoughts were interrupted by a soft clapping the opposite of her. A sinister looking man with a crossbow was applauding her, maliciously grinning.

“Nice work kid. Work of a true little dictator. ”

Aimee turned to face him and scowled.

“I need not be praised by the likes of you, and especially in those terms.”

Aimee walked right past him, glaring.

“I’d be careful if I were you child.” He said his smile fading a bit.

Aimee looked back and grinned.

“What? You think I’m afraid of this place?”

The man shook his head as he observed her, then his grin grew.

“No, you should be afraid of yourself.”

The smirk dropped off of her face as the mans laughter rang in her ears, and she began to run the opposite way.

he would not listen. She refused to listen. Certainly she was no criminal... nothing evil about her.. Refusing to listen to her thoughts and ignoring the turning heads she ran through the dusty streets, her clothes now filthy as well as her self image.

Yi and Yu followed the man, who Yi took to be a scribe of some sort, into a small green room filled with heaps of unfinished paperwork, and 3 dusty chairs. The man sat down in the first chair, motioning for the two archers to sit also. Wringing his hands nervously, he began to speak.

*walks into the city in a black cloak and hood that compleatly sheilded his face and body in darkness* this is an odd palce for a Yu Yan archer to be.*He had been tracking the Yu Yan for some time and had followed them through a few forests and cities but this was the wort place he had ever seen* Well I might as well find out were they went. *a dagger flew at his cloak but Zuko441 dodged it and sent a fire blast from were it came. It struck a teen in the gut and the teen collapsed unconcious* Fool. *walks into the uninviting city*

Still in complete stupor and fear, Aimee did not notice anything until she ran past a kid, a bit younger than her perhaps ,bleeding on the ground turning the dirt a maroon. She skidded to a halt and looked back, her eyes widening slightly at the scene. Wondering if she should leave this city and fast she kneels next to the boy and checks his pulse. Biting her lip, she bends some water out of her skeen and begins to heal the wound which appears to be a deep . After about 3 minutes or more of healing Aimee glances at her work and waits for the kid to awaken. And he does.

A large dagger flys out of his hand, a grimace showing on his face as Aimee stumbles to the side to avoid the blow. Quickly he gets up and looks down at Aimee who casts him a dry look.

"Your welcome!" She spits at his feet.

Realizing what he just did, he nervously bounces on the balls of his feet. Then as he notices more, he realizes that she was that waterbending warrior he'd hear about. Eyes widening, he runs away leaving a bit confused Aimee behind.

"That's what I get for doing something for someone! A dagger to my head." She mutters as she gets up. Quickly dusting herself off, her eyes take in the premisis mildly. That was until her eyes fell on a dark earth sealed building.

"This looks like quite the place for crime." She concludes taking a few steps closer to it. Leaning against the wall, she listens knowing very well that there was no way she could get into that place without being noticed.

"We're in a crisis. This is the only safe place left in the entire city." He said as a matter of factly, showing the considerable amount of earthbenders, thin and nervous, guarding the tiny holes of the building. It seemed this building really was the only safe haven left in this gloomy city... even if what he saw wasn't really what people could say as safe.

"From what I see from you two, I don't believe you can wipe out the entire city of crime. But we do have a person we need you two to capture back alive. She is important." The man said, showing a picture of a girl of about her younger 20's. Her face was long and had prominent features. From the picture, it seemed that she knew well how to use her beauty as her advantage.

"She resides in the eastern part of this city. She's a skilled earthbender and also known to have connections around this city. She's tricky and sly, as well as cunning."

"I've never fought an earthbending girl yet." Yuyan remarked. "Whats our prize once we get her?" He asked.

"Get her and we will discuss that matter later." The plum man responded coolly now.

Yuyan raised his eyebrow but thought the better than to talk back. This sounded interesting. "Well are you up for this Yi?" He asked sideways, looking at her.

Yi nodded.

"I was born ready."

She stood up, bowed to the man, and walked toward the exit, motioning for YuYan to follow.

She couldn't hear anything at all. Scowling, she pulled out her boomerang and stuck it into the wall, prying her ears to listen for the slightest vibration. There was still nothing. Aimee kicked the wall sharply in anger, then pulled back in pain from the blow causing her to become even more angry.

"As soon as I get in here..." She countered, seething.

"I don't think that will be an issue." Replied a voice from behind her.

Before Aimee knew it she was completely trapped in the hard dusty ground, unable to move. She looked up and saw an earthbending guard.

"Let me out you hogmonkey!" She shouted at him.

"Ah and respectful too?What a spledid combination."

He replied cooly, pulling Aimee up out of the ground by her hair. Then he quickly bended her arms together so she could not bend. Aimee screamed all the way into the place until she spotted two Yuyan archers.

"I knew it.." She muttered glaring at them.

"Silence child." The guard commanded as he pushed her further into the dark place.

Yi saw Aimee, and her eyes widened. Rushing over, she asked Aimee,

"What happened?"

Aimee heard a rush of footsteps, then a Yuyan Archer came into view.

"You dare talk to me Firenation scum?" She asks indignantly.

Yi cocked her head, a little hurt.

"Aimee, don't you remember me? It's Yi Ze. Yu introduced me to you last week. He's here to. We just dressed up because... Yu, why did we get in our uniforms?"

Yi spoke now to the other YuYan archer.

As soon as Aimee heard the name, "Yu." She knew that the girl was telling the truth.

"Hey alittle help here!" She asks as she is pushed forward by the now angry guard.

Yi turned to the guard, a tiny frown creasing her face.

"What did Aimee do?"

"This girl is a suspected Firenation spy." Responded the guard.

Aimees eye twitched in disdain.

"Oh YEAH! I'm a freakin spy with my watertribe cloths, weapons and WATERBENDING!!!!!" She shouts in anger.

Yi raised an eyebrow at the guard.

"Don't you know who this is? This is Aimee Agua, heroine of the North, one of the most famous female warriors in the world! I guess not much news gets here though."

Yuyan continued untill he met Aimee.

"What are you doing here?" He asked to Aimee as he looked at the guard.

"And Fire Nation? She's a true water tribian. Let her go." Yuyan said to the guard.

The guard let Aimee go, his eyes wide with fear.

"I didn't know it was you, sorry ma'am."

Aimee turned to him angrily.

"You're so dead to me! You know that right?"

The guard raised an eyebrow and left down the hall.

"I think I should ask you the same question Yu." She said accusingly.

Yi decided to let Yu answer, since she wasn't sure of the right way to put it.

"Yi and I have our business here Aimee." Yuyan said.
"She and I haven't had a good hard mission in some time so we thought we should test our teamwork, while earning some good money." He continued coolly.

"Now what are you doing here?" He reitterated.

Aimee paused for a moment, figuring that telling Yu she was there to interogate a Firenation spy would not be a good idea.

"I'm here to.. go shopping." She responded matter-of-factly.

"You see um.. dark and dingy is the new look..."

Yuyan raised his eyebrows but smoothed them out again. What did she take him for? An idiot? He rolled his eyes.

Deciding that asking Aimee would only produce more dishonest responses, he felt the need to get on with the task at hand.

"Well Aimee, have fun shopping. Yi and I are going to have some fun. Be careful around here. People aren't too darn friendly in this city. Don't ask for a coffee, 'cause they'll give you a mug of mud instead." Yuyan said, hands itching to do some action. He became tired of this waiting and wanted to get into action immediately. The night loomed nearby and he could tell tonight was going to be exciting.

Yi rolled her eyes.

"Aimee, me and Yu have a criminal to catch. Can you please just tell us the truth?"

Yuyan shaked his head to Yi. He knew Aimee. If she didn't tell, then asking would only waste time, and they needed that precious time.

"Well, I look to seeing you around some time." Yuyan said and took Yi's hand and dragged her to the opposite direction towards their destination.

Aimee sighed and rolled her eyes.

" Let's just say I needed to get some information." She responds with a twisted smirk.

"You do the math..."

"And wait..."

"What criminal is this?" She asks, her curiosity perking.

"What is going on here? Thought you kids were leaving!"

Aimee turned around to be greeted by a man looking wearily at Yu.

Yi nodded to the man.

"We are. Right away sir."

Then she hurried after Yu, muttering,

"She was after a spy, I know it!"

Yuyan stopped himself and Yi and turned his head back.

"Well we'll be leaving soon. Do you have some questions?" Yuyan asked that man, himself standing still.

"First of all, who is she?" He asked with slight fear at having a stranger in his safe headquarters.

"My name is Aimee Agua." She responded cooly.

The man thought for a moment and his eyes widened in recongnition.

"What an honor to have you here! Such luck too..."

The man turned to Yu.

"I think this young lady would make a fine addition to the team."

Aimee turned around and smirked at Yu.

"Would I now?"

"Sorry Aimee. Me and Yu need some time together. We haven't been on a mission in forever."

Then she realized what she would have to wear.

"Would I now?" She asks now, a bit grossed out.

"Nevermind."

She walks up to Yu angrily.

"We'll just have to see who catches this criminal first."
Then she leaves.

Yi turned to Yu.

"Well, we'd better get started."

"Yeah, sorry, but it seems we'll have to coincide sometime later." Yuyan said.

"And yes, lets get a move on. I'm kinda tired right now." He said to Yi and proceeded towards the eastern side of the city, darkness pervading them and the air getting cooler and cooler.

Aimee stepped outside to find that it was dark and cold. Just the way she liked it. If Yu didn't care about her helping than why should she care? One thing was for certain, she was going to catch this criminal before he did. She would make certain of that.

Silently beginning to walk, she glanced around at billboards and bullitins for some answers. All of them seemed to be crossed out, burnt, and destroyed.

Out of the corner of her eyes, Yi could see someone following them from the shadows. She poked Yu and signaled,

Someone's following us.

Yuyan realized from Yi's signal and darted his eyes left as a signal to Yi to take a sharp left in a dark alley that had no one occupying it. He promptly took a left.
