Title: The End?

Colton - July 20, 2008 02:06 AM (GMT)
That was by far one of the best movies I have ever seen and even though it saud the end I think there are WAY to many lose ends to stop the series there. For one Zukos mother, Azula and Tophs parents, if any of you have seen Ben 10 and what they did with the alien force sequal to the series I think that would be a great way to keep the avatar series alive. I'm not sure what it would be called but it could either take up sortly after or take palce a year or two later summing up what happned in flash backs or something along the lines of that.

I though so too. Where's his mom? What will the future hold?

That can't simply be the end of it all!

My brother though it would be a season 4. You do you think?

Colton - July 20, 2008 02:11 AM (GMT)
Maybe a season 4 or possibly just a new series all tougether, even though the ATLA series lasted for a while there really werent that many episodes I think an interesting twist would be Ozai gets his powers back and he and Azula team up or some crazy thing like that.

Lora Elric - July 20, 2008 02:12 AM (GMT)
Uh, I hate Ben 10 Alien Force. It (Sorry! I have no vocabulary skills!) compared to the original.

---

Anyways...

OH MY GOSH. THAT WAS THE BEST PART OF AVATAR EVERRRRR. -SPAZZ ATTACK-

I AM SO HYPER, I AM GOING TO BE RUNNING AROUND MY HOUSE FOR WEEKS.

AND KYOSHI WARRIOR TY LEE IS SO AWESOME. o3o

---

-cough- At the beginning of the show, their goal was to defeat the Fire Lord, and restore balance to the world. They've done that, I see no reason for another series. Maybe a one episode short of what happens later, but they kinda did that in the ending of the movie.

Colton - July 20, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
I agree but hopefully avatar wouldnt end up like that

Shadows_Fire - July 20, 2008 02:15 AM (GMT)
I think Ozai will be stuck there for a long time before the possiblity of it will come. Azula is now officially (in my book) crazy and now has lost her mind :U

But on another note, the island is a GIANT TIGERTURTLE?!?! (Then again, most moving islands are some type of turtle)

And when Aang turned into the Avatar State, I just dropped my jaw and had to search for it under my couch.

Colton - July 20, 2008 02:20 AM (GMT)
Ya but we saw him turn into the avatar state on the comercials but I didnt see a rock being able to give him that ability back. And what up with all that flying with fire stuff if you ask me thats crazy.

Alexz - July 20, 2008 02:21 AM (GMT)
That movie...ROCKED! Omg! Sokka! You have to get a new sword! Katara! You look awesome in that Green dress! Toph! You Rock! Zuko! Good luck at being Fire Lord! Aang! You know what you did....and it was fanatastic! I'm very glad you didn''t actually KILL the Firelord, but took away his power!
Suki! You practically saved 2 of the most aesomest chratcers! -spazzes- -foams-

Colton - July 20, 2008 02:22 AM (GMT)
Not to mention Sokka needs to get a new boomerang now :( that was the saddest part of the movie

Fire General - July 20, 2008 02:23 AM (GMT)
I think the ending was very good even though it did have some loose ends, although I guess they are leaving them to be "tied together" by the watchers. Btw, did anybody else see me in the flashback when zuko was in the war room with all all the generals?

Well I'm guessing that when Azula shot him with lightning she shut down the Avatar State. When he got hit in the same place with such and such force (it looked really painful when he got hit) it reactivated it and with the situation, went into the Avatar state.

With flying fire, I just laughed at it because it reminded me of gundiam jet feet when they fly in the air.

Oh same here I was like ok wow thats nice an all but come on....

I was just reading on wikipedia and I saw this

" Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have also confirmed that a new series of Avatar, focusing on another incarnation of the character, is in the process of being made."

Im not sure if Im going to like that seeing as I will miss all of the old characters and I still think there are way to many lose ends

Lora Elric - July 20, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
...You're looking that up on wikipedia? Anybody can edit that page, so how about, wait and get some official info first.

Larathebountyhunter - July 20, 2008 02:54 AM (GMT)
Not everything on wikipedia is false. Most of it is, but you never know... Ok I've changed my mind. They won't do that, only because it's idiotic and the fans would hate them forever.

Though that does seem very unlikely. I'd like there to just be another season about what happens after the war ends.

....

I'm mad. Like, really really mad. Zutara was thiiiiis close to happening. But no, Katara had to go with Aang instead. *sigh*

Well, you never know. They are young.

There is still hope!

And yes, Kyoshi Warrior Ty Lee is amazing.

Kataangfan1 - July 20, 2008 03:08 AM (GMT)
ZOMG R U KIDDING THAT WAS THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER (except maybe for the last airbender movie in 2010!!!)

Blue Spirit Gal - July 20, 2008 09:07 PM (GMT)
That was one of the BEST Avatar episodes yet!!!! And I didn't even get to watch it until Sunday morning! I had to work, darn it! Having to work weekends can really (Sorry! I have no vocabulary skills!) sometimes!

But WOW was it worth the wait! Loved the animation, though I did think they animated Azula a little too creepy, lol. But then again, she was loosing her mind, lol.

I think things started deteriorating for her once she realized Zuko was (a) not afraid of her anymore and (2) getting a LOT better with his firebending

But of course the final straw was Mai and TyLee's betrayal. Yay Mai for standing up for your man! (Okay, so I admit, I wasn't the biggest Mai-Zuko fan, but I think in the end, they looked cute together)

After Mai and TyLee betrayed her, Azula for the first time in her life started feeling fear.

I really like the way Aang kept his beliefs and took away Firelord Ozai powers, though he may not have realized it, letting Ozai live like this was probably crueler than killing him off.

I was kinda hoping while Aang was in his Avatar state zapping Ozai of his power, that that beam of light in the end just didn't go up into the sky and blow the comet out of existance!

And then of course all those loose ends. Zuko's mom (oh I really do want to see a reunion with them!) And what will really become of Ozai - despite his loss of powers, do you think he's still got some major supportors or will they all abondan him now that they don't fear him? And Toph - will she go back home, or stick with the gang to help with the "clean-up". And just how will Zuko and Aang bring about peace???? sounds like some spectacular ideas for another "AVATAR MOVIE" event in the future or at the very least some great fan fic stories!

Kataangfan1 - July 21, 2008 12:24 AM (GMT)
yeah definetaly!!! :aang1:

Colton - July 21, 2008 12:38 AM (GMT)
I think that starting a new branch off of the ATLA series would be a great idea to build off of what they already have and its rare that you find a show that only 60 episodes long either they are a short series where they only have 20 or so episodes or they are a long series with 100+ episodes
