Characters for Role Playing, list of characters/who's available

Hi everyone this is our current list of official characters roaming Blue Spririt Gal and which ones are avaiable.

Fans may also use this section to post suggestions for other characters.

If you are interested in participating you can leave BSG a private message with a request and give me a sample of how you would play the part or email me at BSG@bluespiritgal.com. Please use proper grammer when auditioning for the role.

Fans playing character roles should have a current email address so we can contact you if necessary. If a fan does not wish to/or can no longer play the role, please be considerate enough to notify me!

Any fan playing an official character must attempt to play their character "in character" at all times when posting and are not allowed to add additional bending abilities that were not present in the series. Fans posting "IC" should only post in sections of the forum which would make sense for them to do so.

Also fans playing certain characters my be requested by the staff to participate in various staff generated plots. On occasion staff my need to "borrow" a character temporarily to complete a senerio if the fan playing this role is unavailable.

Main Characters

Zuko - FILLED *this character role requires a mature fan willing to play the part and keep up with Zuko's forum several times a week. This character role is my heaviest on the site at times and requires a fan who can really play his intense personality. Fan may also be asked to participate in various role playing skits and plots. Please PM BSG with an auditon.

Iroh - AVAILABLE *this character role requires a mature fan will to play the part and keep up with Iroh's forum several times a week. Iroh at times can be a heavy characters to play. Fan should have a loveable sense of humor balanced with wisdom and of course a love for tea* Would like to have this role filled before beginning of the third season. Avatar Kyoshi - Filled (requirments: fan must be creative and willing to act as host for the Spirit World, Avatar Kysoshi does not typically leave the Spirit World. She may appear ONLY as an observer with *thought posts* occasionally in Suki's section. Though she is able to control certain areas within the Spirit World, she does NOT godmod into other areas. The fan playing this character will typically also play Meditating Guru Monkey)

Meditating Guru Monkey - Filled (requirements: usual paired with the fan playing Kyoshi. GM is a figure within the Spririt World ONLY and is constantly trying to find ways to close the Spirit World portal - his character is pompus and grumpy but not violent)

Rebel Leaders - AVAILABLE (requirements: creative fans who must be willing to role play within the Earth Kingdom with other rebel and fire nation forces. Fans should enjoy planning strategic moves. Rebel Leaders can be an earthbender or non-bender or bender of another element dedicated to helping liberate the Earth Kingdom (please no Airbenders as Aang is the only Airbender known on the series). No godmoding or muliple bending permitted. This roles may also require fans willing to participate in staff generated plots. Leaders can be ones from the series or created yourself. I am happy to assist in finding caps to match your character)

Captain Chi - Unavailable at present (requirements: creative fan willing to help co-host within the Earth Kingdom Villages and oversea control of Tu Xia Jiang (the Earth Kingdom Villiage seized by the Fire Nation), Chi was formerly the Commander of the prison barge from Season 1 Episode: Imprissioned, demoted to Captain and given one last chance to prove his worth by trying to keep control of Tu Xia Jiang. He both fears and detests visits from his superiors, especially Azula. This role may also require a fan willing to participate in staff generated plots)

Female Warrior #1 - filled: name Rikkia (requirements: to role play with Suki and assist her and the rebels in trying to free captured Earthkingdom villages)

Female Warrior #2 - AVAILABLE (requirements: see above)

Haru - filled (young Earthbender from First Season Episode Imprisioned, this character is now playing a young rebel hoping to help out. He is not an experienced Earth Bender as yet but is learning quickly)

Jet - TAKEN (a non-bending Freedom Fighter from First Season Episode: Jet. This character is a charismatic teenager who doesn't always play by the rules in his zest to free his people. Fan wishing to play this role must be able to be suave and pleasing on the outside but dark on the inside)

Smellerbee - TAKEN female and one of Jet's Freedom Fighters

Longshot - One of Jet's freedom fighters. Longshot is an expert archer that is equal to an of the FN archers. He is mute though, so post should only be made in the form of action.

Cabbage Man - Taken (a fun little character to play who can pop up in the Earth Kingdom villages. Fan must be willing to have cabbages distroyed on a regular basis)

If any fan is still currently playing one of these roles listed as available, please notify me ASAP. If I have not see a character posting in the forum from a long time and am unable to reach this fan, I assume the fan is not longer interested or available to play the role.

Hi guys, with summer now over and the new school year starting I'm waiting on a couple of characters to check back in again with me. I'll update the list is any of the main characters become availbale

If any fan wishes to play a character, please PM me with an auditon of how you would play the role. All fans wishing to play characters must have a valid email address in order to maintian contact with fans playing characters.

Fans can also request for BSG to add characters they might want to play providing they provide an audition via PM to go along with the request. Also as the series progresses and new characters develope fans can request to play these parts with auditons.

At present Ozai in NOT being considered due to limited knowlegde of how this character is going to act out in the series. Once the series progresses to that stage then we will consider opening up that role

Can someone please post a sample audition for a character? I wanna audition for a part, but I don't really know what it means to audition. An example would really clear things up.

Okay guys, seems there is still some confusing about auditioning. If you want to play a part you need to PM me with a request for which part you want to play AND an audition paragraph such as a brief conversation between the character you would like to play and another character/scene.

For example someone wanting the role of Kyoshi might make an audition like this (since Kyoshi must often be limited to observing yet NOT interfering - a least not directly, lol):

*unseen by mortals Kyoshi watches Suki and her band of female warriors as they confront Princess Azula and her cohorts in the forest, trying thier best to protect Appa*

*a slight frown appears on Kyoshi's face as she sees Suki falling hard to the ground under one of Azula attacks and lays battered, winded.*

*Kyoshi clenches her fists as Avatar Roku appears next to her*

Roku: You cannot interfer Kyoshi.

Kyoshi: *proudly she looks at Roku* I do not need to. She is a Kyoshi Warrior, brave and strong. She will not let this tyrant Princess defeat her so easily.

*looking at Suki, Kyoshi steps forward and reaches down to her protege with her gloved hand knowing she cannot really hear her but offers her words of encouragement*

Remember who you are Suki. You and your warriors bare my name and the secrets of a Kyoshi Warrior's strength. Focus your energy into one single path and direct it to your enemies weakness.

*Kyoshi watches as Azula arches her arms to form the lightening bend*

*Then Suki suddenly lifts her head from the ground and her eyes are clearer, brighter and with renewed energy*

*As Azula releases the lightening towards her, Suki quickly opens her metal fan like a mirror deflecting the energy back at Azula, who is forced to block. In that split second of distraction, Suki snaps the fan shut and with precision accuracy slices it through the air striking Azula square in the shoulder on her bending arm with concentrated energy throwing her backwards a step. Her warriors, on each side of Azula as if moving as one, repeat the attack until Azula is thrown back hard against a tree. The stunning blow is enough to give Suki and her warriors the chance to escape now that Appa is safely away*

Roku: *lifts a disapproving eyebrow at Kyoshi*

Kyoshi: *standing proud, she watches Suki and her warriors safely depart, a faint smile appearing on her lips*

Roku: *shakes his head but cannot hide the twinkle in his eye*

Both past Avatars fade back into the Spirit World in which they came.

(okay so you don't have to get THAT elaborate, but you get my drift, lol. Just give me a paragraph on how the character would speak or act in relation to a scene or interaction with another character.

Another example is if you were auditioning for Longshot you have to remember he's MUTE and DOESN'T talk so your audition would have to be based on action narratives with an understanding that both Jet and Smellerbee seem to understand him clearly by his mannerisms)

If I have not seen a character posting after an extended time, I will assume the fan playing the character is no longer interested and the role will be re-assigned

Lora; if the list states that a position is open, it is.
just because Iroh has been or is being roleplayed at the moment does not mean
that the position is permanently filled.

BlueEclipse; I suggest you pm BSG to ask her directly if a position you are interested in
is filled or not. The list as of now states that Iroh is available.
if something is unclear to you, feel free to ask a moderator or BSG directly for help.

Mostly the first post of this topic is correct, if a position is stated as available
it is most likely safe to proceed with an audition.
