Kivo and Reku, avtara fairy tale

Ok, once in a village not to far away from here there lived a young earthbender. His name was Miko.
Miko had to learn all his earthbending by himself, because he was the only earthbender in his village. He was a curious young man and he wanted to visit other towns and maybe even help out in the war.
On his 18th birthday he packed all his belongings - which weren't much and set out on a journey. He wandered aimlessly through the woods and become hopelessly lost.
It started to get dark. "What am I going to do?" he asked himself? "I was hoping to make it to another town by now."
Just then he noticed some smoke. He figured it must be a house or a campfire so he went towards the smoke. Miko followed the light and he came to a small clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a small hut, with a beautiful garden.
"I wonder who lives here?" he thought. "I should go and knock on the door."
Miko walked up to the house and knocked on the door. After a moment the door was answered by the most beautiful woman Miko had even seen. She was short but had the most stricking green eyes, and her hair was red as blood.
Miko was most taken with her eyes, so taken was he that he forgot to speak. The woman giggled at him. "Hi" she said. "My name is Reku, what can I do for you?”
Miko blinked once then remembered how to speak, "Um, sorry. My name is ..." Just then Miko tripped over something, and fell on top of Reku. Miko scrambled too his feet. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm such a klutz." He offers her a hand up. "My name is Miko by the way"

Reku took his hand, and tried to smile. "No problem." Once on her feet she asked. "Now Miko what brings you too my hut, at this time of night?"
Miko scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Well you see I'm lost. I was trying to make the nearset town but I lost my way in the woods and I need a place to stay."
Reku leads Miko to a small shed behind her hut. "You can stay here," she says. "But you must promise me that you won’t leave this shed no matter what you hear."
This didn't sound good to Miko. He grabs Reku's hand, "Why can't I leave this shack?" She looks at him and tears start to form in her eyes
She whispers, "Just stay here ok? There is some food on the shelf in the back help yourself." With that she shut the door and locked him in there and headed back to the house.
Miko thought this was very strange, and was going to use his earthbending to get out, but just then his stomach starts to rumble. He sighs and walks to the back of the shed where he finds many caned vegetables, fruit, and some dried meat.
After he finished eating he found that he was very tired. "I'll ask her about this in the morning" He mumbles then falls asleep.
Miko woke up the next morning to the sound of the shack being unlocked. He didn't recognize the woman who opened the door at first. She was covered in bruises and cuts. But her eyes remained the same. She smiled "I hope you slept well. You need to get out of here by dark. I can lead you to the road but that is as far as I am willing to go."
Miko jumped to his feet. "Reku what happened to you?" He was very worried about her, for he had already fallen in love.

Reku smiles sadly at him, "It's nothing. Let's get you out of here. If he finds you here your life will be in danger."
Reku starts to walk away expecting Miku to follow her. He grabs her hand, "Who are you afraid of? Who did this too you?" He reaches up and touches her face. Reku tries to hold back tears but can't. She has also fallen in love with the clumsy young man. "Don't worry about me. You have a chance to leave here"
Miko didn't know what else to say so he let Reku lead him back to the road. "Now if you follow this road to the left you will come to a village in about 3 hours." He was still worried about her and it showed on his face. She smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you for wanting to help." She walked back in the direction of the hut.
Miko turned and started walking down the road. He didn’t get far before he tripped and fell onto the road. He sat up, "Ow, I really need to pay attention to what I'm doing" He stood up and started to the village. He stopped walking after ten minuets
"What am I doing? There is a damsel in distress that needs my help" He turns around and starts to run back in the direction of the hut.
After quite a few falls and getting lost a few times, despite his claim that earthbenders posses a natural sense of direction, Miko finally finds the hut.
Miko decides that he should sneak up on the hut. He notices a window so he peeks in. He sees Reku setting out dinner plates. He notices there are three plates.
"Who is coming to dinner?" He wonders to himself? Just then he hears a noise. He bends the earth so that he sinks down into it - to hide.

Miko could hear two sets of footsteps above his head. He then heard Reku open the door. "Welcome back," she said. "I hope you had a good day." "No days are good days, girl," growls a deep voice. "Now where is our dinner?"
"It's not quite ready yet. I wasn't expecting you for another ten minuets," she says meekly. "What!," yelled the voice, followed by a smack. Miko got very mad, he wanted to go up and confront who ever just did that. But he knew he needed more information first.
"That's two days in a row that my dinner has not been ready when I got home, girl. Do you want me to put you out on the streets where I found you,” asked the deep voice menacingly.
"No," says Reku softly. "I'm sorry it won't happen again." "It better not wench," said another voice. Then Miko heard the door to the hut shut, then no more. He waited a few minuets then bent himself above ground
He looked into the window and saw two men at the table. One was in his 50's the other looked to be mid 20's. The older man "So what is the dinner tonight girl?" “So the deep voice belongs to the old man,” thought Miko.
"Roast duck," says Reku. The younger man got up and walked over to Reku and wraps his arms around her waist from behind. "How about after dinner we go for a walk?" he asked. Miko was having a hard time suppressing his anger now, but he knew that he must wait for the proper time if he was going to get her out of there.
Reku turns in anger and slaps him "I will go no where with you Kira." Her eyes widen in horror of recognition of what she just did. She gulps, and looks over to the older man. She pleads, "Kerzon I'm sorry. I just lost my temper is all."
Kerzon looks up at Reku and Kira. "You girl are never to slap my son again. We are going to have another chat."

Reku starts to cry, "I'm sorry Kerzon I really am. I promise I’ll never hit Kira again. Please we don’t have to have another ‘chat’." Kira pulls her head up to look him in the face. "Say you'll marry me and I'll forgive you"
Tears sting Reku's eyes, and she looks back and forth between Kira and Kerzon. She didn’t want to be beaten again. She sighs and whispers, "Fine Kira I'll marry you." She silently adds, “Miko please forgive me.”
Now Miko could no longer keep quiet and he yelled, "No" at the top of his lunges. This caused all activity in the hut to stop. Kira and Kerzon left the hut to find the source of the voice. Miko realizing what he did tries to earth bend himself away.
But in his hast to get away he accidentally sends a large rock to hit him in the head and falls unconscious. Rika and Kerzon see Miko and drag him into the hut. Reku sees him and runs over to his side. Her face is full of worry and she looks up at the two men and asks, "What happened to him?"
Kira gets mad, "How do you know him?" At this Reku looks up realizing her mistake. "I don't know him,” she stammers quickly. “Why would I know him you never let me leave."
Kira back Reku into a wall. "What have you been doing behind my back wench?" Reku starts to cry and Kira raises his hand to hit her.
Just then Miko jumps up (he had been faking it the whole time) and bends a large rock at Kira, knocking him out. "You will not touch her." he cried.

Kerzon sees this and gets into a fighting stance. "Who are you and what do you want?" he growls. Miko smirks and solutes Kerzon,"My name is Miko. I've come to take Reku's hand in marriage and away from the two of you."
Reku blushes at the proposal. Kerzon is annoyed. "You can't have her she's agreed to marry my son." Miko glares at Kerzon, "Looked to me like you forced her into the proposal with fear. I will not have this."
Kerzon lets out a growl and rushes Miko. Miko side steps Kerzon and sends a rock at his knees. Kerzon trip and falls. Miko kicks him in the head making him fall unconscious.
Miko walks over to Reku who is cowering in the corner. "It's ok your safe now."
Reku blinks at him. "My hero," she runs and glomps him. "Well that was unexpeced," said a happy Miko.
Reku giggles. "Well did you mean it? You want ta marry me?" Miko nods his head. She smiles, “Then let’s get out of here.”
So Miko took Reku back to his village, for he decided that he had had enough adventure for one life and he already, and he already had his prize. The two lived happily ever after. The end.
