avatar school: earth bending, the earthbending class

Hey all! I'm Katja, and my friend Sugarqueen and I are starting classes all over the avatar world (BSG's forums). She and I will be teaching the classes for the most part, but we may have speacial guests come in.

Just to let you all know, there are other classes for firebending, waterbending, and soon airbending, avatar home-ec and nonbending classes.

Alright, I only ask that if you are a really good bender, that you do not attack other students, and if we do have a special guest don't fangirl-mob them.

Hey Katja!
I'm glad to see you've gotten your Earthbending class up and running!
I've already got my Waterbending class and my Firebending class up!
And, as for the non-bender classes, one of the Avatar World's GREATEST warriors will be teaching a fighting skills class, which will be located in the Water Tribe as well.
Well, I must be off to my own schools now!

Cool! I did see that firebending is a very popular class. I guess all the earthbenders are incognito due to the war or something...

It's possible.
But don't worry, I'm sure that this class will be just as good very soon!

I hope so, I already figured out my first lesson! Earthbending stances! And since I took tae kwan do for a few years, it's going to be pretty acurate.

Alright.... well if anyone does show up soon, I guess I'll post something useful.

Alright, the key to your earthbending stance is foot placement. Always have your feet shoulder-width apart! This gives you balance from one side to the other. Then, take a step back with your non-dominant foot. For me, that's the right, but it will probably be different for most of you. If you are ambidextrious, just pick one, you have to know how to stand with either foot back anyway! Make sure that your feet are far enough apart so that when someone pushes you, you don't fall over. Bending your knees should help improve your balance.

Of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you an earthbender? What do you want to learn about?

Well to tell you the truth i don't know you see my mom was from the and my dad was from the i don't know if i have any power's .

Well, we could see if you can. But you'll have to be patient, it can take time to really earthbend.

Okay, take a strong stance so you can't fall over and take a deep breath. Face that rock aross the room, and force your arms forward, like your punching it. If you're an earthbender, you should be able to move it, at least a little.

OK . * Get's in to a hores stance and take's in a big deep breath and force's arm's out . * * I DID IT !!* See it moved alittle bite

Great job! Alright, if you want to move it a little more, try using a karate stance, one foot farther forward and one foot farther backward. Then you are slightly more stable. Like this. *demonstrates stance*

Hey there, Katja! I haven't been to this classroom in a while, so I decided to come make sure things were going good! It looks like it! Well, I've got to get back to my classroom, their lunch break is almost over.... Oh, I almost forgot to give you this!
*puts a box on the floor and uses her Firebending skills to heat up the ground and make a wave-sort thing out of the melted concrete, sending the box over to Katja*
There you go, don't open it until after school, 'kay?
*turns around to leave as the box lands near Katja's feet*

then the rock slide's across the floor and hit's the wall and put's a hole in the wall .

That's fine, it's an easy fix. But since I'm not an earthbender, I guess I'll have to tell you how to do it. And good job with the rock! You have a very great talent for earthbending!

Okay, stay in your stance, stomp your front foot, and bring your back arm forward and up, like your about to punch your chin. That should fix the wall. =)
