avatar school: earth bending, the earthbending class

Pretty Good, you thought out of the box by making two things. Hm.... A- I think. Pretty good for your first test. You can play with this in here anytime, but it has to stay in this classroom.

Now, for this next unit, we'll be working with metal.

*Takes out a sheet of metal and leans it against the wall*

Try to make a dent in it.

*You want me to bend THAT !!!*

Ok i am try.

*touches the metal and close's eye's*

*Open's eyes stwp's back and get's in to stance*

Run's at the metal head on and hit's it*

*fall's to ground and land's on back *

Ok maybe that was not the best way to try to bend it !

Yeah. Um.....


Place your palms on it and meditate for a second, breath and feel the earth in it. Then, once yu feel the earth, force your hands into it. Hopefully you might do something to it. If not, we can move on to sand.

*Walk's up to metal and places hands on it and close eye's and breathes deep *

*Open's eye and push hand's into metal and think's toself come on metal bend*
*Push's on metal even harder and it bend's *

Very nice!! but just to make sure that the metal wasn't too thin, try this one.

*sets up a block of metal against the wall.*

Just do the same thing to this one. But don't hurt your wrists if it doesn't work. =)

Welcome Jackie! I don't have an advanced class yet, but I can certainly start one!

Edsgirl, I hope your arm starts to feel better!

In the meantime, can you bend metal yet, Jackie? (I just want to gauge your expertice.)

yes i can bend meatal.

GO EARTH!!

(Umm actually TOPH is the only one able to bend metal. Normal eartbenders can't, because they can't sense the small components of earth in the metal. Toph can, because she can see them through sensing vibrations, and other people can't do this. )

I know, but we can learn from her expericence and at least try. (I don't expect anyone to actually bend metal anyway, it's just to see if they are as advanced as Toph).
