Uh oh, what's that behind you twinkle toes? She grinned brightly at Aang, pointing to the ground she had bended into quicksand directly beneath the monk, from her eased position with her feet up.
It had been a few days since The fire nation prince had caught up with them, faced them, and begged to be accepted as Aang's firebending teacher. Unlike many of the tales she had heard about this Zuko, he was very open seeming, and though awkward, he seemed much brighter a person than they had described. Sokka explained to her that he seems to have changed from what he was before. That, or their storytelling abilites are zippo. She thought. Whether or not this was the case, Katara definitely seemed to have changed. Ever since Zuko showed up, she had become withdrawn, started breathing harder, and seemed to step (or was it stomp?) a lot louder. Yep. Sugarqueen has some kind of issue here. Toph considered the reasons for her oddly unforgiving behavior. Sure Zuko had betrayed them before, but he had betrayed everyone, not just Katara, and both Aang and Sokka seemed to be nothing more than awkward and wary around the Prince. If nothing else, things were very interesting. She frowned thoughtfully as Haru helped Aang out of her quicksand trap. And they're going to become more interesting. She could feel Zuko approach them. Morning Prince Firehappy. |
