With the final movie having come and gone, does this mean that Avatar is finally over? No! This can't be! What do you think? Do you think there is going to be another show like "Avatar, After The War?" People have been saying that there are many untied ends like, "Does Zuko find his mother?" and "What happened to Azula?" In my opinion, I think that the makers of the show wanted to leave those "loose ends" to be "tied" be the watchers, but what do you think will happen? Is this really the end of Avatar?

well judging from the ending of the show i'm pretty sure they will mkae a fourth season or at least a special episode or something.
I mean just look at what happened at the end. They just announced world peace, Zuko's mother's location has yet to be revealed, and aang and Katara just got together. This leaves quite a few loose ends that need to be tied up. Also Zuko's mother makes two appearances in the end so that mightve been foreshadowing of a fourth season. If I were Brian or mike i'd be making a fourth season. I'd name it 'new World" or something like that. -------------------- Fire is sometimes so hard to control.

I highly doubt there will be a "fourth season". Spin-offs, maybe. But not in the near future.
Don't forget your oh-so-happy creators are running off to play Hollywood with M. Night Shyalaman. And I don't know if the people they leave behind would be willing to do any more episodes... nor would I trust them to come out right. Well you never really know, I'll say. People come back with all sorts of ideas for their show. I say let the creators play Hollywood for awhile, they met be inspired to make a fourth season.

No. I believe they will not continue with Avatar Aang and his friends. But Mike and Bryan already said they were going to make another Anime in the Avatar World. *shrugs* I think they should have a competition on Nick where people enter there ideas for a new Avatar World adventure. *smiles* I think that'd be fun.

I agree with Alexz.
This might be the last season but avatar has had a great run. I doubt Nick would want this to end completely with the money they've made. So yeah i guess if there isn't a season 4 there might be something like related to Avatar but not 'The last airbender'. -------------------- Fire is sometimes so hard to control.

A true season 4 is really implausible. With a closure like that, they don't need a whole 20 more episodes. Unless you want to see the boring tale of how they try to restore everything (yes I think it'd be boring), all it would be doing is just filling up plot holes that, who knows, maybe the writers wanted the fans to fill in the blanks themselves.
I mean, come on, if Ember Island Players didn't prove they like to mess with the fans, nothing does. If anything starts, it would be a season 1 of a new story, or just short spin-offs. i hope at least there is a epilloge, or something like that. that would tie up all the loose ends. if there is a new story, i will not watch it. i am loyal to avatar THE LAST AIRBENDER. and no other "avatar" show like it. I am a die hard fan, and if there was a new show, to me, if i watched it i would feel like i am replacing avatar.
and if they make another season, it could be exciteing. what if azula gets out and goes phscyco on everyone? what if some of the fire nation who still want to be bad attack? i mean, things can happen. -------------------- katara can be sweet when she's happy...............or sour when she's mad. There won't be a 4th season. >_>
However there are some rumors that they'll be releasing some 1-hour long specials next year. Just speculation, though. I dunno if any of it's confirmed or not. And why would you not watch a new Avatar series? It'd be from the same people, same creators, it's just not about Aang. To not even give a new story a chance sounds pretty closed-minded to me. Not all the loose ends are always tied up. That's life for you.
