So first of all about the reservation part. All you have to do is call to say you want to come on whatever day. If you have 4 people, you will be able to come that day with no problem. If you are just 1 person, you can choose to get a call back if 3 other singles call and want to come by. Or you can just call the day of and see if C4 is open because there is already enough people. I don't want to over-explain, I think you get the idea.
As for the future plans, I'm going to start hosting larger events at different locations. The hope is to go into unsuspecting places and then demolish their internet connections. Then after they are humiliated and ashamed at thier pathetic connection, we can then play on a LAN and compete against each other. Ideally people will be able to bring their own PC's and the C4 machines will be there on standby for those who don't have one, or don't feel like lugging their e-Machine up to the party. I'm planning on places like where smaller conventions are held, like the Holiday Inn:Airport, or the Robstown convention center and places like that.
These events will be something regular, like monthly or bi-monthly, whatever the community will support. They will also be timely, meaning a LAN on the the Starcraft ][ launch, and a Halo extravaganza when REACH is out, and so on.
Please let me know what you think and what you would like to see at these events. I have some ideas in mind I'm working on, but remember that this place is all about you guys so help me steer into something you want.

So what your basically saying is that, unless you can find three other people who are going to C-4 gaming, your pretty much screwed?
Cuz I've been have'n a really busy schedule, and in 2010 when it stops, I'm not gunna be able to go to C-4 unless I can find three other people who are willing to spend $12 and all day with me.
Now, I understand why your doing this, but I was wondering if I could reserve the place by, myself? or with 1 or 2 others?

I think what Kyle is trying to say, is that this business venture has been more venture and less business than what he initially planned. It takes a good deal of time and money to operate C4, and I think now we have reached that critical point where its make or break. In order to warrant Kyle's time and availability, we will need to meet a minimum of four customers. Also, by saying we, I mean the C4 community, Kyle doesn't pay me, because he sucks, although I feel I should be payed for my input and my attention that I pay to these forums, despite never having made a paid visit to C4 myself.

I think Kyle said it best when he said this place is all about you guys. If you guys want C4 to be bigger and better, Kyle is going to need your support. I know most of you are in school, so you should have a good core group of friends, at least I'd hope so, and $12 isn't too much. Perhaps we could talk Kyle into a group package. Something like if 4 people pay in advance you can play all day for $40 or something.

Above all else, lets get the ideas rolling. Let's hear what YOU guys want C4 to be like. What would you like to do, play, have? What are some other activities we could integrate into the C4 business model? CCG's? Board Games? Pen & Paper RPG's?

You don't necessarily need to bring 3 friends yourself. That will guarantee it, but you can get 2 friends, and say 2 other random people want to come, then it's open. Or you can call the day you want to come and see if it's already going to be open. ASDFxorz gets the idea. I'm just going to be shifting focus and resources to a different style of C4, but I don't want to lose the old style. So if enough guys can make it, it will be the same ol' pwning as usual. It's actually very rare that just 1 or 2 people show up, it's usually no one, or like 8 guys so I think not much is really going to actually change, it's just that it will need to planned out just a couple days in advance.

But yes, please tell me what you guys would like to see at these new events. Would you want to just bring your own food, have it catered, a pizza buffet? Do you want just PC's set up in a circle for Hero Siege?!? How about all day events running until morning, or just tournament showdowns? Who wants to play tabletop RPGs or card games? Let me hear any ideas you all have.

So, if I wanted to go to C4 by myself; I would have to pay more? cuz, the only reason I go to C-4 is to get away from my house and my games, not for the people. Not that y'all are bad or anything, but that's not why I go. But I'm just worried that I will lose my ability to go to C-4 whenever I get the opportunity, either by myself or with the 4 other people that Kyle wants me to bring.

I definitely support this idea, and also I'd be down for some tabletop games. I'm not sure if I'd want to DM because I'm really inexperienced, but I'm definitely a player.
