What shall we call you?: You can call me Pre, it's been my nick name since I started Roleplaying.
Age: 18 Role Playing Experience:Four years, I started on Neopets. =] How did you find out about Caveat Emptor?: Loki showed me the way. All credits to her =D Do you know what Caveat Emptor means?: Ha, no I don't. I'm guessing though, the last word means empty...I know I failed, but hey I tried! Role Play Sample: Police work "Where is it?" "I don't know.." "...You...don't know?" "Please..." "Oh, Jessica, Jessica." "Please, stop this! I've told you all I know! I-" Boom! Sergeant Gretchen Jacobi pressed stop on the tape recorder, cutting her eyes to her office door, her mind wandering for a moment as she went over the facts of her current case. As usual, things didn't make sense, and didn't add up. Although, if they ever did, she would be even more supicious. The chief only gave her these sorts of cases. The dead ended ones without a trace. Some women had the talent to sing in choirs, others to play basketball. Hell, some even had that rare talent to balance a healthy diet. But in Gretchen's case, she had the knack for bad guys. She was noted for her observence in the evidence of cases. She could pick up small and tiny unnoticable facts most looked over. In her opinion, she just got mighty lucky, alot. Gretchen sighed and looked through the many papers spread across her desk. Her eyes switching toward the blue cat clock her mother gave her two birthdays ago. It read 5:03 A.M. She had no idea why she hung it in her office. It seemed hardly the place for something so childish. Yet, Gretchen needed something innocent and friendly in the office. Dealing with homicide cases and missing persons, she needed something to weigh out the yang in the room. "Gretchen!" The door to her office swinging open, making the 34 year-old jump. She looked up and over to see her former partner, John Mainer walk in, folder in his hands. "Have you heard what's going on?" "I tell you what I didn't hear," Gretchen muttered rubbing her forehead as she glanced back down at her paperwork. "knocking." "Sorry," John said stepping further into her office, shutting the door behind him. "I think you should read this though. Morning paper just came in. I can hardly believe it myself." He slid the paper atop her files for her to see. She picked it up. Wondering how the morning could be going by so slowly. Her eyes widened as she read the headline. Jessica Rivers related to record deaths? "Who gave them the information?" Gretchen snapped arching her brows at John. "That's not the bad news though," John said, side stepping the question. "Someone else has gone missing." "Who?" -------------------- Fighting the ride,
going in circles. Spinning around, fall to the ground. never living ever after. Living a dream, fighting the scream. Running in circles, falling on your face. Living your disgrace, always wondering what if. |
