This isn't anything like Clad In Darkness, nor as good, but some of you may enjoy if you are into Doom metal.

All the current songs are kinda old, but I have new heavier material awaiting vocals and then I will give an update post.

Yes actually. I have something small going on that once we find the right peices will play live, although we wont be going as Cyanide, we plan on using some Cyanide riffs and the same feel, but I think Cyanide will remain a solo project.

Hopefully it all works out in the end

Just thought i'd let you know, not that you'd care too much.. but my old band did a gig with an English band called Cyanide. Doubt it will cause any problems, but thought i'd alert you to it.


To be honest, i'm sure there's countless bands named Cyanide.

Ah shit.

Well this is more for the fun of it, if anyone were to try and take legal action I would choose another name, as this is just for personal pleasure.

I also think there was a classic punk band by the same name as well.
Oh well.

To be frank - your music is actually good.. whereas theirs was poor metallica... slowed down ... and then with a singer who just sounds really bored.

I think you probably had the name first. They've not been around all that long.

Cyanide news update:

Slight delay on my vocal progress on the new songs, I have joined a band recently and have been putting my musical efforts towards that mainly. But I have been approached by a small sub label about Cyanide and I took the offer and soon I will appear on a few compilations ( local and non ) and have a demo printed and distributed.

Quite nice man. The guitars sound nice and chunky when it kicks in. A nice mellow metal tune.

I haven't heard from Justin and his Cynanide project recently, and bumped into a solo project he has written material for on myspace. Actually it is some really fantastic Post Rock with a bit of a doom edge to it, that I am quite impressed with actually. Very dreary and emotional, I encourage anyone to check it out. I sent a message to him today to get an update, though still waiting for a reply.
